Many Worlds

I found the following video to be uniquely insightful on a subject that has long intrigued me, and I thought that it might intrigue others as well.

I realize that it's over half an hour long, and most people don't like watching anything much beyond five or ten minutes, but I do believe that it's worth watching, and any opinions on it worth sharing.

Sam Brinton caught stealing luggage at airport

Sam Brinton, the MAN (he/him) who is in charge of securing our nation's nuclear waste material has been caught stealing luggage at the Minneapolis airport.
If biden didn't have a reason to not have someone like this guy in such a sensitive position before, he certainly does now---assuming he cares about our national security.

One note of interest is that a Google search for this story including "CNN" in the search doesn't reveal any stories by CNN about this. Perhaps it doesn't fit their narrative.....

"Sam Brinton, a Biden administration nuclear official, made headlines this week after they were arrested for allegedly stealing a woman’s suitcase in Minneapolis airport — and then using it for a month before claiming it was taken by accident.

But it isn’t the first time the 35-year-old nuclear engineer has made the news.

Brinton, who uses they/them pronouns, became one of the federal government’s first gender non-binary officials earlier this year when they took on a role in the Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Energy."

I don't see how I will be able to enjoy Heaven.

This is my dilemma. A little over three years ago my wife died from breast cancer. I desperately want to be with her in heaven. However, our only child, a teenage boy with autism needs me. Fortunately, he is high functioning, he can even drive a car, and he know how to use an iphone better than me:). However, he is easily taken advantage of by evil people. I do everything I can to stay healthy, to live as long as possible. I cannot stand the thought of knowing one day I will die, and he will be on earth for about 40 more years without my protection. How will I be able to enjoy Heaven knowing my son is living without my guidance and protection? I live everyday knowing that this day will come, and it horrifies me. Any words of advice would be greatly appreciated.

As hard as it is to hear, all you can do is prepare your son as best as you can and then trust him in the hands of your Father. He will not be alone. Pray for him, pray that God will give him wisdom, friends and people who will provide protection.

Prosecutor suspended by DeSantis testifies as lawsuit begins: ‘It is important for me to speak out’

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A Florida prosecutor suspended by Gov. Ron DeSantis opened his federal civil trial against the governor Tuesday with testimony that alleged his removal was based on his personal political positions on abortion and transgender rights.

The suspension came as DeSantis, a potential 2024 GOP presidential candidate, joined a wave of Republican opposition to progressive prosecutors who exercise discretion over whether to charge people with what they deem to be low-level crimes.

Does Warren believe that killing babies is a low level crime?

The Irony Of Christian Love

.. They are not of the world just as I am not of the world. I do not pray that you take them out of the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one. But they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world ( John 17:14-16 ).

We can only love the world as we are not of the world. We can never love the world by becoming more like the world. This is a delusion that many have shipwrecked their faith on.

It sounds compassionate enough. I will meet the man where he is at by becoming more like him where he is at. I will take the burden of the cross from him, and let him become whoever he wants to become, whoever he identifies himself to be, and then I'll become more of who he wants me to be, to make him more comfortable where he is already at.

I will embrace his style, his sound. I will play his music, watch his movies, develop his speech, and demand others have his and now my social worldview. I will not rustle any feathers, cause not a ripple, or give him any offense. No, I will meet him where he is at, by becoming where he is at, and fill churches with all that is called that. And then I will call it good, very good. And I will call it hate, if others do not hold my point of view. I will then beam with pride, I will beat my chest with admiration, sneer and look down on others who may disagree, and say to myself with satisfaction, " could I have loved them any more?"

Or we can become the world, by becoming the politics of the world, or by fighting with the fire of the world, Keeping the outside of the cup spotless clean, while the inside is filled with dead men's bones. We can become so busy fighting Rome, that we do not see the hearts of its citizens are toppling all around us.

We can dress the right way. Walk the right way, and talk the right way, but never never get ourselves on the right way. We can put on a brave face, put our superman cape on and go out and fight our gallant fight against all the enemies of the land, but yet be like the Pharisees in the end, so busy fighting Rome, and this Galilean who seemed to be fighting them, that they missed it all. Then we can put on our Sunday best. Go to church. Slap each other on the back. And say, " Could we have loved them any more?"

Christ, however, could only love the world as He was distinct from it. He was in it, but not of it. He brought something of heaven into this world. He brought otherness. He brought distinction. "They are not of the world. just as I am not of the world." The true seeker today is looking for a distinction. He said of us we were supposed to reflect that same distinction that was in Him. But I am afraid much of Christianity is only giving the world a blur. They are only giving the world a reflection of itself. But Ye are the salt of the earth, but if the salt loses its flavor with what will it be salted? It is therefore good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled under the foot of men ( Matthew 5:13 )

What happens then if we lose that saltiness, that distinction? Men see it of no value and trample it under foot. They do not see the thing they had hoped for. They only see a reflection of the thing they left behind. And to leave them in this bondage is not love. It is to take from them the very cup of cold water they had hoped for, the very thing they had come to see. But if they come upon one in their journey one day that is seasoned with salt, then they see that distinction. Heaven itself is poured out. And in the end, it is that one who has given the traveler what he has really come for. And it is in that moment that he could not have loved him any more.

Is this the Supreme Court case that will drain the swamp?

"The Question: How can you support, and defend, the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic? Answer: You investigate. If there are claims that there is a threat, even if you don't believe there is a threat, you investigate. How else can you determine if there is a threat unless you investigate? You can't. Were there claims of a threat to the Constitution? Yes. Where did these serious claims come from? 100 members of Congress. What was the threat? That there were enemies of the Constitution who successfully rigged the 2020 election. Is this lawsuit about a rigged election? No, it's about the members of Congress who voted AGAINST the investigation thereby thwarting the investigation. Was this a clear violation of their oath? YES."

Church Planting Issues

Hello all!

Sorry for the long post, you can keep scrolling if it's too much.

I'm writing today to ask for advice on how I should go about planting a church. Just to give some backstory, I have been feeling the call to ministry for several years now, and only recently felt confident in it enough to share it with leadership at my church. I have an area that I want to plant a church in, and it's the next city over from where I live. It's a bustling college town of about 70k people, but despite that, there is not a single church there that preaches the gospel. There's only maybe a dozen or so small churches in the area. I have done the research, and examined their websites and statements of faith, and every single one is either universalist, sin affirming, or has major moral issues that are contradictory to the bible or gospel. I have seen the need for a very long time, and have earnestly wanted to reach this community with the gospel that saves, and see the Lord work. This is an abundant harvest with no workers, and I have a heart for them, many are living similar lives to me before Christ saved me. The elders of my church have also seen this need and have been praying for someone to desire to plant a church there for several years, and my pastor was elated when I expressed my interest.

But it is not as simple as saying I want to plant there, be mentored, and then be sent off. It's a big process, and takes more time than becoming a doctor. My church has created a church planting ministry that's now separate from it that has planted a number of churches in the surrounding areas. The process is that they take seminary graduates from around the country, put them through an internship/mentoring program for a year, then a 2 year residency where they get ready to be sent off to start the church. The church is then funded by the church planting organization until they're self sufficient. There's been about 30 people who have gone through the internship program since it started, but there's never been anyone from my church who's gone through it. The guy who runs it all used to be the head pastor of my church but stepped down to run church planting ministry full time.

My biggest concern stems from a conversation that I had with one of the current interns/residents. He gave me a lot of good insight into what's involved with seminary and everything, but he told me that I'd have to be very careful and patient with the internship and residency and getting anything going. He said that I would essentially have to sign a blank check with the memo being where I want to plant a church, and then just let the rest of it play out. He said I would have to essentially play politics with the guy who runs the organization in order to get what I want because he's slow and calculating and often want's things a different way than you anticipated or were hoping. He said him and the other current interns/residents have all had to deal with the same stuff and be careful not to burn the bridges, and that it's actually been a point of contention over the years so much so that of the ~30 people who have gone through the program, only 3-4 actually did something afterward that directly involved the organization's support or involvement because it's that hard to get something going, and many of the interns get impatient and enter ministry another way or on their own.

He also said that I likely would not get much creative freedom in how I structured or ran the church. He said that the guy who runs the organization and is very uptight about the methodology and sees no reason to change it. He even told me that the strategy they were planning to use for the town I want to plant in is to create a carbon copy of my current church. I think this is where I disagree the most and have my biggest doubts of moving forward this way. While my church is successful, it mainly attracts older people and those in middle to upper middle class. There's also not often many converts from people outside of church, many new people are already Christians who moved from other areas. I'm not saying there's no growth at all, but there's clearly not as much from the types of people who make up the area I want to plant in. That area mainly consists younger and lower class people, with a lot of homelessness, drug addicts. It is a city where sin abounds, but contrary to Romans 5, grace is not abounding more. My church mainly preaches sermons that while helpful to believers, would be understandably difficult for someone who's never been to church before and lived in sin their whole life to pick up on and want to come back. If I'm to plant in this area, I would want leeway to differentiate the culture and overall vibe of the church. not in a way that compromises the gospel, but in a way that attracts people with a different culture than those who make up my church. And there would be no reason for this anyway, since these two churches will be located just 20 minutes apart. If people do want what my church has, then they should just go to my church.

And this shows in their current attempts to get something rolling there. While they don't have anyone to spearhead the ministry yet, they are trying to get bible studies going there. They do this in the form of a college ministry that is located on the college campus. They're hoping for this to attract enough students to make up regular Sunday gathering, which would turn into a church. The problem is it's been incredibly unsuccessful. There's currently one college student who attends it, and he's already saves and leads the meetings since you have to have a student in the ministry in order for it to meet on campus. There's 4 other people who go, but they're all out of college and go solely to raise the numbers. The last time someone was saved through it was 8 or 9 years ago. I used to go, and when I did, there were occasional guests, but none of them ever stayed, or came back, and I believe this to be directly due to the studies/messages being geared for the kind of people who go to my church, not the kind of people they are trying to reach. The intern I was speaking to said I'd like to have no choice then to use the plan of using the college ministry to start a church there.

Obviously none of what they are doing is sin, but it makes me concerned as to whether it is a good option for me and for any church that I would plant there. There's been talks about continuing to further separate my church from the church planting organization, and plant this church out of my church rather than the organization, but nothing is in stone. The benefit of that is the new head pastor of my church agrees with my takes on it a lot, and I think would be more flexible with how it is done.

I guess I am just looking for people's thought and opinions on how I should go about this. I know it will be a long time in the making, but I can't see myself being content doing anything else.

Thank you, and God bless.

Despite Media Hysteria, Twitter Is Far From Dying

As #RIPTwitter trends and the media are awash with coverage lamenting the site’s apparently imminent demise, a look at the actual data on Twitter’s usage suggests that the platform is far from dead. While Twitter is losing both employees and advertisers, and a few high-profile celebrities have departed, the platform’s core user base appears to be as engaged as ever — a point Elon Musk himself made recently. What do the numbers tell us?

Biden draws backlash for greenlighting Chevron to resume pumping oil in Venezuela

President Biden‘s shift on energy and foreign policy has sparked outrage. Critics are accusing the administration of hypocrisy for promoting a green agenda domestically while lifting oil sanctions on an adversary and allowing Chevron to resume production in Venezuela.

42 Biden Admin Officials Put on Notice by House Republicans

At least 42 Biden administration officials were sent letters by Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee this month requesting testimony from a variety of White House officials.

Those letters primarily dealt with the suspected politicization of the FBI and Department of Justice (DOJ), investigations into U.S. border security, and President Joe Biden’s son Hunter.

How Will Anyone Trust The Georgia Runoff Results When There’s Enough Illegal Voting To Tip The Scales?

Initial data from the November 2022 general election indicates more than 25,000 Georgians may have voted illegally in the general election. And the problem appears poised to repeat itself when voters cast their ballots in the state’s runoff election for senator on Dec. 6, 2022. Absent a win by a substantial margin by either Republican challenger Herschel Walker or Democrat incumbent Sen. Raphael Warnock, litigation, with the potential ordering of a new election, seems likely — a scenario that would have proved disastrous to the country had control of the Senate remained in play.

Fauci Couldn’t Name Any Studies Showing Masks Work Against COVID-19: Lawyers

Dr. Anthony Fauci couldn’t cite any studies that changed his mind about masking against COVID-19 during a recent deposition, according to lawyers who were in the room.

Fauci, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) director, was among the U.S. officials repeatedly urging people to not wear a mask early in the COVID-19 pandemic unless they were showing symptoms. Among his many public and private statements, he wrote in a Feb. 5, 2020, email that “the typical mask you buy in the drug store is not really effective in keeping out virus, which is small enough to pass through the material.”

About two months later, Fauci and other top officials reversed course and issued widespread masking recommendations, regardless of symptoms.

Asked about the change while under oath on Nov. 23, Fauci couldn’t provide any studies, according to lawyers representing plaintiffs in a case against the federal government.

Three child sex offenders arrested trying to cross illegally into Texas over Thanksgiving week

Three child sex offenders were arrested while attempting to illegally re-enter the U.S. through Texas last week, border officials said Tuesday.

These are just the ones that they actually caught; but they were just here to do the jobs that Americans won't do.

Here’s How They Did it: Real-time Election Fraud

We take that election roll, with perhaps 15 million voters, Florida, for instance, or Texas -- compare every voter against every other voter and address, down to the cell level, and see any differences -- every day!

What do we find?

In a real-life example, this month, we found a county that changed 31,500 zip codes, yet the voter remained at the same address. Curious?

That means the voter did not change their address, continued to receive all their mail, except one item -- a ballot sent from a voter commission.

23% of world’s nations used force to halt religious gatherings in 2020: Pew report

Governments in nearly a quarter of the world’s nations, including the United States, used force to prevent religious gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, a new Pew Research Center study says.

Twenty-three percent of world governments employed “arrests and detentions; physical assaults; damage, confiscation or raiding of private property; displacements of people from their homes; or killings” to enforce restrictions on religious gatherings in the first year of the pandemic, according to Pew’s “How COVID-19 Restrictions Affected Religious Groups Around the World in 2020” report.

When you know 100% it's wrong but still do it

(This question is because I watched some documentary about serial killers that sexual immoral acts were a part of it)
Hi. My question is, let's say hypothetically (as a Christian or non-Christian) if the devil test you by putting a thought into your head without you knowing about it and you think it's your own thoughts, for an example to kill someone or sexually immoral while knowing 100% It's something you would not ever do (never crossed your mind earlier before the devil started attacking), but with time you start to feel as if you get a rush of adrenalin from thinking about it, but you would never do it, but still this builds up more and more, and then one day you can't hold it in, and you act upon it.
Then after doing it, you repent 100% sincerely and hate your sin.

Then on judgement day, the devil will say to God "see I tempted him, and he did it! He KNEW it was wrong, but still did it!" Key point being "He knew but still did it!"
Let's say the person committing this sin had a weakness, being a person that was easy to influence, or/and the devil knew what weak points he had and used it against him guessing the probability for the person to act upon the thought is high because of it, let's say a sexual immoral act like pedophilia, the guy being over sexual having (more than most people, or even normal urges) overactive sexual urges, the devil knew this and used that weak point to his advantage. The person (because of constant attack by putting thoughts into the head of the person in silence) could not hold it in any longer and had to act upon it, so that the devil can accuse the guy later to God.
What do you say about this question, do you think God would forgive that person?
Or does the devil have a hard case against him because the person knew full well it was wrong, but still committed it? Or do you think God would take the guy's weakness in consideration, and by that show mercy to him, or is it enough that the guy cried out to God Through Jesus and asked for forgiveness that he could not control the urges?
And what if the devil never put the thoughts into the person's head, and he did this by himself, would the probability for God to forgive him be the same or not as likely? In both cases, the person asks for forgiveness to God through Jesus, and he has been baptized and did these things after that. Just to narrow it down to what i am asking for more precisely. Thank you for answers, and please move this question to an appropriate section of the forum if this is the wrong place.

Words of Wisdom

Baruch 4:1-4 Wisdom is in the Book of God’s Commandments. All who hold fast to it will live, but those who forsake it will die. Happy are we, His people, for we know what is pleasing to our God.

Baruch 4:5-11 Take heart, My people, those who keep My Laws. Israel was sent to the heathens, but not to be destroyed. Because you ignited God’s wrath, you were handed over to the enemy. You forgot your Maker, the One who nurtured you and it caused sorrow to the Land that fostered you. She saw that disaster had come upon you. With joy I brought you up, but with tears and mourning, I watched you go into exile.

Baruch 4:17-24 But how can you be helped? Only the One who brought those disasters upon you, can deliver you. Take heart My children – cry out to the Lord. He will rescue you from the power of your enemies. As the neighbours of Zion have seen your exile, so will they soon witness the deliverance of you, which will come to you with great glory and the radiance of the Eternal.

Baruch 4:25-29 My children, endure in patience the wrath that God has brought upon you. Your enemies now have the upper hand, but you will soon see them destroyed, soon put your foot on his neck. Take heart, My people, He who afflicted you will not forget you. . You went astray, now with tenfold zeal, you must turn back and seek Him.

Baruch 4:30-35 Take heart, Land of Israel, the Lord will comfort you. Wretched will be they who mistreated you and gloated over your fall. Those who rejoiced over your downfall and ruin, they will grieve at their own desolation. I shall strip their land of the multitudes they boast of and turn their pride into mourning.\
Fire from heaven will be their doom
. [A Coronal Mass Ejection, sunstrike. Isaiah 30:26, Malachi 4:1]

Baruch 4:36-37 Jerusalem – Land of Israel, look and see the joy that is coming from all quarters, that is coming to you from the Lord. They come, the people from whom you were parted, assembling at the Word of the Holy One and rejoicing in the glory of the Lord.

Baruch 5:1-9 Jerusalem, remove your garment of mourning and put on forever the robe of righteousness, the glorious splendour of God. From Him, you will receive forever the name of Righteous City of Peace. Arise Jerusalem, look and see your people coming from West to East at the Word of the Holy One, rejoicing that God has remembered them. They went away from you on foot, but He is bringing them home to you, borne aloft in glory as on a royal throne. All the Land is regenerated by His command, so that His people may walk securely and the trees will give shade and fruit for them. He will guide Israel, His people, by the Light of His glory, in His mercy and righteousness. Ref: REB Apocrypha.

At the Second Exodus of the Israelites: all the faithful Christian peoples will be guided into their inheritance, in the same manner as the First Exodus. ‘The Light of His glory’ will be with them, as they settle into all of that area promised to Abraham. They will live in the new nation of Beulah, Isaiah 62:1-5, while the remaining prophesied events unfold, then the great and glorious Day of the Return of Jesus will come. Micah 7:15

Actress Alyssa Milano is embroiled in another controversy after taking to Twitter to reveal she's sold her Tesla in protest at Elon Musk's purchase of the firm.

Seemingly oblivious to the irony of how she announced the news, the motormouth former Charmed star, 49, wrote: 'I gave back my Tesla. I bought the Volkswagen ev.'

'I'm not sure how advertisers can buy space on Twitter. Publicly traded company's products being pushed in alignment with hate and white supremacy doesn't seem to be a winning business model,' she added.

Over the weekend numerous Twitter users mocked her purchase of a Volkswagen by pointing out the historical association between the auto company and Nazi Germany.

VW was established as a German state-owned automobile company in 1937, while the country was under the leadership of Hitler's Nazi Party.

Cain and Calvinism

Everybody knows Cain did not inherit eternal life.

1Jn 3:12 not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother's righteous.

Jud 1:11 Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.

Calvinist thinking incorrectly states, that Cain never had any hope that he was predestined for destruction, that God choose Him for destruction, but what did God say in scripture? We know God is not a liar.

Gen 4:5-7 but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell. So the LORD said to Cain, "Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it."

God told Cain he had a choice, that if he did well he would be accepted. Cain had a chance at life. As do all people, all people are given a chance at life.

This choice is all throughout scripture.

Job 36:9-12 Then He tells them their work and their transgressions—That they have acted defiantly. He also opens their ear to instruction, And commands that they turn from iniquity. If they obey and serve Him, They shall spend their days in prosperity, And their years in pleasures. But if they do not obey, They shall perish by the sword, And they shall die without knowledge.

John 3:15-17 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Why do we pray for our enemies?

I have been pondering this question as to why and what are we suppose to pray for when God ask us to pray for our enemies? and why? what is the purpose to be achieved? what result should we be expecting?

This has been a source of confusion and perplexity. confusion because it is unclear why and perplexity as to what is the point and what is to be achive.

It seem like nonsense,
so could some please clarify this?
