The pier was probably designed by the same folks who made the roads in my city. Bumps and potholes in the road after just two or so years.

On the good news front, a couple of generous men have stepped up and covered immediate financial needs that I haven’t been able to. Living on the edge all the time and being responsible for so many has been hard; having a couple of months to breathe easier and look for better work is a real relief.

John 8:4 “Teacher,” they said to Jesus, “this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?”

6 They were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger. 7 They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!” 8 Then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust.

When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman. 10 Then Jesus stood up again and said to the woman, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?”

Was the NEW LAW that Jesus gave a NEW LAW? Nope. It is HIS OLDEST LAW. Did Jesus sin by not Stoning the woman who was clearly pulled steaming hot guilty of Adultery from the bed and thrown at his feet? They had the 3 witnesses to condemn her, I assure you! They thought they had Jesus entrapped. But, what happened? The same finger that carved the 10, wrote a higher law into the earth with HIS human finger.

So what now? Is there a New covenant that is to come that will be completely incompatible with the old one? YUP. Who understood the LAW more than any other? GOD. God didn't BREAK the LAW, but actually EXALTED the LAW of LOVE, TRUE JUSTICE AND MERCY.

Mark 2:27 Then he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

And just to show what HE was actually telling the TEACHERS OF THE LAW, one more time; "If you had known what these words mean, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the innocent. 8 For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.” You would almost think that there is a FAR HIGHER LAW than the Stone Law..... Like a Golden rule or something.

14 After this, Jesus found him in the temple complex and said to him, “See, you are well. Do not sin anymore, so that something worse doesn’t happen to you.” 15 The man went and reported to the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well.

- Hmmmmmmmm...... Do not sin... sin? sin? THE SIN OF THE WORLD IS UNBELIEF.

Honoring the Father and the Son

16 Therefore, the Jews began persecuting Jesus because He was doing these things on the Sabbath. 17 But Jesus responded to them, “My Father is still working, and I am working also.”

So... The Jews totally ignore that Jesus placed the GOLDEN RULE above the Stone Law to heal a man... and Jesus reveals the ultimate secret to HIS LOOP HOLE.

If God, who was standing there in the flesh... FULLNESS of THE GODHEAD and ALL..... stopped working for one nano-second to provide and SUSTAIN THE VERY LIFE THAT is the LIGHT WITHIN ALL OF CREATION... The ticked off Jews would drop dead, along with all of the universe and everything in all of existence. Does God take Saturday's off? NOPE! He's answering prayers, providing EVERYTHING that man takes for granted... Libertarian Sovereign Agency and all! The last Saturday that God took off was a LONGGGGGG time before that day.

Oh Goodness.. adding for protection purposes... Sustain is not MICROMANAGE!

18 This is why the Jews began trying all the more to kill Him: Not only was He breaking the Sabbath, but He was even calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.

So lets recap... God, who hasn't had a Sabbath off since he rested on the Seventh day of Creation is getting accused of Breaking the Day that HE CREATED because he make a Lame man Walk.

Allow me to put this more specific. The New Covenant is being Prophesied by Jesus, there and then... and the Teachers of the Law were too BLIND to see that GOD is right in front of them.

2 Corinthians 3:15-17 But unto this day, whensoever Moses is read, a veil lieth upon their heart. But whensoever it shall turn to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

You would almost think that SOMEONE higher than MOSES was standing before mankind. Hebrews 4 sure does seem like a good place to read at this point.

19 Then Jesus replied, “I assure you: The Son is not able to do anything on His own, but only what He sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, the Son also does these things in the same way. 20 For the Father loves the Son and shows Him everything He is doing, and He will show Him greater works than these so that you will be amazed. 21 And just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so the Son also gives life to anyone He wants to. 22 The Father, in fact, judges no one but has given all judgment to the Son, 23 so that all people will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

Life and Judgment

24 “I assure you: Anyone who hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life.

25 “I assure you: An hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. 26 For just as the Father has life in Himself, so also He has granted to the Son to have life in Himself. 27 And He has granted Him the right to pass judgment, because He is the Son of Man. 28 Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come out—those who have done good things, to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked things, to the resurrection of judgment.

30 “I can do nothing on My own. I judge only as I hear, and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

Four Witnesses to Jesus

31 “If I testify about Myself, My testimony is not valid. 32 There is Another who testifies about Me, and I know that the testimony He gives about Me is valid. 33 You have sent messengers to John, and he has testified to the truth. 34 I don’t receive man’s testimony, but I say these things so that you may be saved. 35 John was a burning and shining lamp, and for a time you were willing to enjoy his light.

36 “But I have a greater testimony than John’s because of the works that the Father has given Me to accomplish. These very works I am doing testify about Me that the Father has sent Me. 37 The Father who sent Me has Himself testified about Me. You have not heard His voice at any time, and you haven’t seen His form. 38 You don’t have His word living in you, because you don’t believe the One He sent.

39 You pore over the Scriptures because you think you have eternal life in them, yet they testify about Me. 40 And you are not willing to come to Me so that you may have life.

41 “I do not accept glory from men, 42 but I know you—that you have no love for God within you. 43 I have come in My Father’s name, yet you don’t accept Me. If someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. 44 How can you believe? While accepting glory from one another, you don’t seek the glory that comes from the only God. 45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father. Your accuser is Moses, on whom you have set your hope. 46 For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, because he wrote about Me. 47 But if you don’t believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”

AND... That's the BOOM! The Stone obedience can't save. ONLY JESUS can SAVE. Hebrews 4 is sure looking awful important here! A man that exalts Moses, not realizing that JESUS and LOVE THY NEIGHBOR are the HIGHEST LAW.... EVEN within MOSES.... is going to be in for a shock.

Deuteronomy 18:17 The Lord said to me: “What they say is good. 18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their fellow Israelites, and I will put my words in his mouth. He will tell them everything I command him. 19 I myself will call to account anyone who does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name. <- And look... Right there, smack dab within Deuteronomy.

One more thing.... Did you notice that Jesus told the Healed Lame man AND the Forgiven Adulterous to go and sin (UNBELIEVE) no more?
