Reader,

When a person hears the "Gospel", as, "faith comes by hearing" ... then this faith is proof something happened in the heart of the Believer that God SEES... as "God sees the heart"
And what is that, that God sees that has happened inside you?

God sees your "repentance" ....that is of the kind that God accepts, and that is not repenting from sin....but its repenting from UNBELIEF.

See, God is not looking for people who are willing to "clean up"... as = ""Jesus came into the world to save SINNERS"

See that Reader?

God is looking for FAITH IN CHRIST...and then God will clean you ............So, God is looking for FAITH.....as that proves you have repented from your UNBELIEF.... and God takes that FAITH, and accepts that one time FAITH = forever..... and then He does this...

A.) He takes ALL your sin, and puts it on Jesus,

"God hath made Jesus to be SIN for us".... = as if Jesus is YOU THE SINNER, and then Christ dies on the Cross, for ALL YOUR SIN..

and then,,.

God takes that Righteous LIFE that Jesus LIVED.. and God gives it to you... "imputs it".. ."charges it to you", as if you lived it all your life.

This is to become "a New Creation, In Christ".

See that?
That is : SALVATiON....

Its Jesus becoming our wrong and our sin, and us, = through God's Grace.... God gives us His own RIGHTEOUSNESS, as if we were always righteous, and will always be.. RIGHTEOUS. = to become BORN AGAIN.

This is the "imputed righteousness" that God gives you the INSTANT you trusted in Christ, and you remain "made righteous".. having become "the righteousness of God, in Christ".... = FOREVER.

Welcome to : Salvation

Its a "GIFT"..... an Eternal Gift.

Let me simplify it even more..

God is Holy and we are not.

So, for God to have us, is for God to join Himself to us : Spiritually.

See, "God is A Spirit" and we are a spirit in a body that is not connected to God because our SIN does not allow God to have spiritual union with us.

So, See the 2 fold issue?

1.) You have to become as RIGHTEOUS as God, before HOLY RIGHTEOUS God, can join Himself to you, so that you become BORN AGAIN SPIRITUALLY.

2.) Your SIN is blocking God from having you rejoined to Him in "Spiritual Union".

So, GOD had to solve = these 2 issues for you, as you can't deal with your own sin, and you can't become righteous.

A.) God became a man to die for all your sin, so that He can then give you HIS Righteousness.

And that is what happens when you go to God with Faith in Christ.

God takes the Blood and Death of Jesus and makes you sinless, as "Jesus is the ONE TIME... Eternal SACRIFICE for SIN"

AND then, once your SIN is dealt with by the BLOOD and DEATH of Jesus........as He has now died for them all..... God then gives you "the Gift of Righteousness" that is "The Gift of Salvation".

See that?

That is to become BORN AGAIN... as a "new Creation".. "in Christ". AS =
"ONE with GOD".

See how simple that is, yet how amazing is this Gift of Salvation?

Jesus dies for your sin so that God can now give you His RIGHTEOUSNESS... and then He can Join Himself to you, as you have now and forever... become..

AA.) = "The Righteousness ... OF GOD...... IN Christ".

This is to be BORN AGAIN.. as a "SON/Daughter of God". A "new Creation".. "in Christ".

Yes, anyone who accepts the Lord as "the Lord" has already seen the difference between the Lord and us, His creations. Upon seeing Him we recognize that He exists as God, and that He wants us to follow Him in His holiness, as opposed to our waywardness.

Faith is not a word that is neutral with respect to repentance. As you indicate, it demands repentance. How can you put your faith in someone so different from you without recognizing the need to conform with who He is and what He represents? How can you say you believe when you understand the basis for having a relationship with God and yet refuse to adjust accordingly?

"Jesus came into the world to save sinners"...

"To Him that worketh NOT... but believeth on GOD... who Justifies.. the UNGODLY....their FAITH is counted as (Christ's) righteousness".

Salvation is not a contract, whereby you agree to try to be good, so that God will then give you the GIFT of Salvation.

Salvation is a GIFT.......Its "the GIFT of Salvation" and you don't work for a gift.

Salvation is the mercy of God, as the Cross of Christ, given to sinners who don't deserve it.

That is "God's Grace".... and isn't its Amazing......

It's a mistake to think that repentance is a "work" in the sense of earning your Salvation. It is not a work of self-atonement. Rather, it is a work inspired by God's truth, and enabled by God's truth by our acceptance of that as His gift to Man.

The ability to respond to God's word is how God created us as human beings. And it is equally our ability to respond in repentance to God's word.

That doesn't mean we are obtaining Justification through our repentance. Our repentance not only accesses God's word of righteousness but also His word of forgiveness. By responding to God's word of redemption we obtain *His redemption.* That is, the work we do is in responding in obedience to God's word, which alone is the source of virtue that leads to righteousness and Salvation.

My belief is in a unified whole that allows for free will. This is not irrational, but supra-rational. We could never hope to explain God's ability to create Free Will that is unpredictable to Himself, and yet still controlled by His word. Our free choice to sin leads to a different outcome than original, and yet still determined by God's word. And that's what gives us redemption, a word that forgives us and returns us to the original plan.

That would be synergism. Thank you for the prompt answer.

Demands repentance of what?

That the sinner try to be good for a week, or 12 days, and then God will have them?'

Really?

That's not how it works

See, God came down here to save SINNERS, who will TRUST in Christ.

He's looking for that one, as that one has REPENTED from UNBELIEF, and THAT is the repentance that God accepts... as to repent from UNBELIEF = you now have FAITH in CHRIST.

Are you teaching some idea that God causes the person to repent, and they dont do it of themselves?

So, the person is in charge of their own mind and their own will.

This means that turning from unbelief to FAITH in CHRIST, is a person's choice.

"CHOOSE this day, whom you will serve".....is not God pre-destining it for you., Reader.

God respects this choice, no matter if the person chooses Christ by Faith, or rejects Christ willfully ,and dies never born again..

No. God's word *invites* a person to repent--otherwise, he would not conceive of the option. He would not know any alternative besides doing his own thing.

Jesus said to believe and to repent at the same time. We repent of going our own way to serve the Lord, when He enables us to see Him by His word.

It is not just repenting from unbelief, but more, repenting from going our own way.

That is exactly right.

What do you think about all those who do not choose simply because they don't have a clue as to the choice?

What do you think about all those who do not choose simply because they don't have a clue as to the choice?

Paul teaches in Romans 1 that God says that noone has an excuse to die as an unbeliever, and that is because God has proven His existence by the existence of Nature, and of the Planet., itself... and says so "they are without Excuse"..

Also, God is not limited to how people think.

Many think...>"well, what about that young boy who was raised by wolves in the arctic and has never seen another human being.. how can they learn about God and Christ".

A.) God knows their situation and will provide a way, even if He has to put you in a whale's mouth and swim you all the way to their IGLOO.

As with God "all things are possible."

God is not LIMITED to cell phones and the internet and 20,000 seat "christian stadiums" led by "feel good" amateur believers.

I am not denying that there are no people at all who have an excuse before God. Paul makes that abundantly clear in Romans. What I am questioning is the concept that people choose to go to the lake of fire or choose to go to heaven. For idiots, infants, and unborn folks there is simply no choice possible. They are condemned simply because they have no excuse, not because they choose not to believe. The door of heaven is not open to these people despite the popular notion that there is something known as "an age of innocence". Everyone is born in sin and will die in sin unless God graciously saves them.

And God is fully aware of this reality.

How could He not be, as He's God.

So/...If God has mercy on SINNERS, who don't deserve it.... then certainly His mercy is extended to those who are not capable of understanding The Cross.. etc, etc.

God is good all the time, and His mercy endure forever.

Then, of course, that means that God not only saves idiots, unborn folks, and infants, but also the vast majority of humanity who will never have the opportunity to choose, or not choose, God simply because they will never ever even hear the name of Jesus Christ. Do you agree with this? If not, why?

The entire world is connected by Cell Phones, and Internet.

People who have no food or a home, have a Cell phone, generally speaking.
So, a Cell phone is going to connect everyone to "hearing the Gospel"..

So, thats one universal way..

Also, God will find a way to get the Good News of Salvation to you.........
