Both. If I never sin again in my life I still need the righteousness of Christ to cover me because of all my past sins..
Your answer is closer to the answer of a person that has moderate humility…

Would you be shocked to hear that Jesus specified that he didn’t come for the righteous, but for sinners?

That was not Jesus's meaning. We are all sinners. The Pharisees didn't believe they needed a savior. That's why they murdered Him. Jesus pointed out their hypocrisy.

Hypocrisy is any form of humanity claiming to be without sin.

The seventh day Sabbath is God’s gift to humanity. It was blessed and sanctified by God after He had created the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them. It was written into the Ten Commandments by His finger, was kept, and taught by Jesus Christ, and was observed by the apostolic church. A memorial of both creation and redemption, it should be faithfully celebrated by believers now as a day of rest, worship, and well-doing.
These statements are false, they create more questions than answers.
According to the scriptures: Genesis 1 spells out 6 days of works by the Creator. (true or false)
Gen 2:1-3. is about the seventh day of creation only. The seventh day was blessed and sanctified because the creator was finished with all His works and entered into His rest on the seventh day. (all the facts about the seventh day are spelled out in Gen 2:1-3). There is no institution of Sabbath to speak of based on Gen 2:1-3.

The ten.com (4th commandment) reaffirms my argument above saying God worked 6 days and rested the seventh day.
Exo 20:11
For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day:
wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

We disagree on what: "Wherefore" means.
We agree that Sabbath is a memorial of creation based on Ex20:11
It's a memorial of redemption based on the reason to keep it given in Duet 5:15
Deu 5:15
And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.

Your mind is closed to whom God is commanding to keep the Sabbath.

By you adding SDA talking points about the 10 Commandments being written with His finger, you overshadow that He came and died.
Saying that Jesus taught and kept it only proves that He came under the law. We disagree what His death means concerning the law.
The Sabbath, as outlined in Genesis 2:1-3 and Exodus 20:8-11, falls on the seventh day of the week, which is Saturday. However, it's important to note that according to Genesis 1:5, God declared that a new day begins at sundown, not at midnight. Therefore, the Sabbath begins at sundown on Friday and ends at sundown on Saturday.

Here’s where the Sabbath was first instituted by God:
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done. So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation. (Genesis 2:1-3 ESV)

Here God defines when a day commences and finishes, from evening to morning:
God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day. (Genesis 1:5 ESV)

Here’s the fourth commandment:
"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. (Exodus 20:8-11 ESV)
It does not take much study or research to understand that God was not requiring the whole world to keep the Sabbath.

Paul addressed worship days in Rom 14.

There are two different rests being referred to in Hebrews 4 not one
Sister, Paul in Hebrews chapter 4 below tells us what he means by his use of the word "rest". "Rest" in this passage does not mean anything other than what Paul tells us he means in the following passage.

For only we who believe can enter his rest. As for the others, God said, “In my anger I took an oath: ‘They will never enter my place of rest,’” even though this rest has been ready since he made the world. We know it is ready because of the place in the Scriptures where it mentions the seventh day: “On the seventh day God rested from all his work.” (Hebrews 4:3-4 NLT)

United in our hope for the soon return of Jesus, Jorge

The Jews weren't the only one's responsible for Jesus' death. The Romans (Gentiles) are just as guilty. To place the death of Jesus, on the Pharisees, alone, is ignoring all of scripture. We are ALL guilty of Jesus' death.

Don't overlook the word of God in Ac 7:51-52 for who was chiefly responsible for murder, and who just assisted.

Regardless of all the fuss about which day or whether the Sabbath was ever intended for the Gentiles, I think the notion of taking a day of rest is a pretty swell idea for us Gentiles, intended for us or not.
The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. It was made for man's rest.
As the sacrifices were holy (i.e., "set apart," Lev 6:17), so the Sabbath was holy.
Both were holy because they were figures of our salvation and our salvation rest, respectively, in Jesus Christ--the whole purpose of Christ's death.

And as the holy sacrifices are fulfilled in Christ's sacrifice, so the holy Sabbath is fulfilled in our salvation rest in Christ's holy sacrifice.

Fortunately we have Romans 5:8 and MANY like verses that our very Salvation depend on, to assure us that we are ALL guilty of Christ's crucifixion.

Actually, he chose to die for the body of Christ (believers in the promise (Ge 3:15, 15:5, the Seed, Jesus Christ).
It was not the body of Christ that murdered him, it was unbelievers that murdered him.

Is the word of God in Ac 7:51-52 difficult?

Are you finding the word of God in Ac 7:51-52 objectionable?
I will be frank...

The crucifixion was a co-equal result of Roman and Jewish authority. At no point did any of the Roman's overseeing the matter have the courage to exonerate Christ and save Him from the false accusation of the Pharisees. That's a biblical fact. The Romans were afraid of an uprising that would result from fully exonerating Jesus Christ to the point of getting Him safely away from the mob. They KNEW HE was innocent and handed HIM over to the mob.

Hitler used "Passion Plays" to whip up anti-Semitic frenzy, under the guise that "The Jews Alone" were responsible for Christ's crucifixion. By biblical revelation of the synoptic Gospel's, alone, it is clear that Rome was just as Guilty as "Palestine" for Christ's fate. Bring John in to the discussion and its just impossible to exonerate the Gentile Rulers of the time, of the matter.

John 19:6 As soon as the chief priests and their officials saw him, they shouted, “Crucify! Crucify!” But Pilate answered, “You take him and crucify him. As for me, I find no basis for a charge against him.”

Pilate literally said... okay, go and kill this innocent guy. Why? Mark 15:15-17 (15 Then Pilate, afraid of a riot and anxious to please the people, released Barabbas to them. And he ordered Jesus flogged with a leaded whip, and handed him over to be crucified.)

Actually, the Jews were primarily responsible--calling down Jesus' blood on themselves and their children (Mt 27:25), and were the murderers (Ac 7:52) who were assisted by the wicked Romans (Ac 2:23).

Agreed. . .with the help of wicked men (Romans), the Jews put Jesus to death (Ac 2:23), calling down his blood on themselves and their children (Mt 27:25).
