The Apostle Paul's teaching regarding our "Soteriology".. is very unique.

He teaches that the Law and commandments, show us who we are in relation to God's Holiness.
And now that the Law, this HOLY MIRROR has let us see ourselves as compared to God's Holiness... we recognize what we are..

1.) = "all have sinned".. "there is none righteous, no not one"..

So, this REVELATION that the Law has provided to us...., leads us to God's Grace that is Christ on the Cross.

We go there, now that The Law has shown us what we are.... we are 'sinners".

And, "'"Jesus came into the world to save sinners"""".. and all of us Qualified long ago.

We then go to the Cross, trust in Christ..... and Christ become this for us..

"God hath made Jesus, to BE SIN.... for us"...

"Jesus is the ONE TIME, Eternal Sacrifice, for sin"...

And now that Jesus has dealt without our sin by His SACRIFICE.... we are then given by God... the "Gift of Salvation" that is "the Gift of Righteousness", which is the "imputed righteous of Christ".... And all of this is "the Gift of Eternal Life".

And so, what has happened here?

It this......there is a Divine Exchange..that has happened, whereby we came to the Cross as a Sinner and Jesus became our sin and our sin bearer and JESUS is JUDGED TO DEATH for them all.. And HIS Righteousness, now becomes ours, as "the Gift of Righteousness", and now we are "made righteous"...having become .....>"THE righteousness of God, in Christ".

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What does it mean to be given "the imputed righteousness of Christ"?

Its simply means that the Holy and Perfect and Sinless Life that Jesus lived "under the law", is given to us, as if we lived it.

So, Jesus has our sin, and we have HIS Righteousness if we are born again.........and that is the : DIVINE Exchange.

Now you must be born again, to have received it...and not just be water baptized and religious.

See that? That is the BORN ... AGAIN.... CHRISTian.. the "Son/Daughter of God".

And that is not your body, as your body is "dead because of sin".. and its not your mind, as your mind is not born again, and it has to be renewed.
The renewed mind is simply..... = to ONLY and ALWAY see yourself as the Born again Christian, exactly as God sees you this way, which is forever.
God never sees the born again as lost or unsaved or as a sinner.
He only see the born again as .. "IN CHRIST">.. "Seated in heavenly places"... as "ONE With God"... "made Righteous".

So, its the BORN Again SPIRIT that is the "new Creation".. "In Christ".. , not the body or the mind.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

And Paul goes further... He then says...

"Christ is the END...OF...THE. .... LAW... for Righteousness, to everyone who believes" = born again.

"Jesus has redeemed us from the ... CURSE.... OF... THE ... LAW""..

And that Reader is the completion of the Masterpiece that is God's Redemption.

Why? Because, if the born again were still under the law, subsequent to being born again, then the Law could define your future carnality as sin, and you as a sinner.

But because the Born again.....

= "Are not under the law......but under GRACE"... then the Law can't define your deeds as anything, ever again.

So. if you say..."well, what about this that i did".

A.) "God hath made JESUS to be sin for us"
AA.) "Jesus is the ONE TIME.... Eternal Sacrifice.. .for SIN">...
AAA.) "the born again are not under the Law, but under Grace".

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

And what are you now, if you are born again, and not just water baptized and religious?

A.) Saint

And here is the final wonder, regarding Paul's Teaching... that im showing you..

Do you recall the Harlot.. who.... "was forgiven much"....and she crawled across a hard dirty stone floor on her hands and knees.
Why?
To worship Her LORD Jesus The Christ.... .
How?
By washing His feet with her tears and then wiped them dry with her Hair.

See that? That is how the Grace filled heart reacts to the Grace of God.
It does not want to go out and live like the devil.
And we when understand this "Gift of SALVATION""" that is to be free from the Law and under Grace.. we find that we are even more forgiven than the Harlot, as our forgiveness is ETERNAL LIFE IN Christ.
And that causes us to want to love God more and serve God more, the more we realize what God has ETERNALLY completed for us Through The Cross of Christ.

I don't think Paul was as "unique" in his view of the truth as we often may think. The problem is, in my view, that it is common in Christianity to view the Law and the Gospel at opposite ends of a spectrum, almost as if they were the work of 2 different gods.

This is because the mixture in the Church has people who are not truly born again and don't really understand Grace. They think Grace is just forgiveness when it is really much more than that--it is a change into a new nature, modeled after Christ. Those who are not born again do not understand a "new nature!"

So these shallow believers view the Law as black and forgiveness as white, and find the 2 systems as opposites when actually they were produced by one and the same God. God is as lawful in the NT as He was lawful in the OT. He asked Man to put on a new nature in the NT just as he asked the same in the OT.

The big difference between the testaments is that the OT showed the need for a final dealing with sin, whereas in the NT sin has been completely dealt with in a legal sense. So these are not 2 very different systems, and Paul was not alone to recognize this. I will leave it at this for now....

Yes, Jesus became the source of eternal righteousness just as the "one God" had been for Israel the exclusive source of their hope for eternal life in the OT. It really wasn't much different except that Jesus finished what was started under the Law, rendering the Law fulfilled in something permanent.

Christ didn't merely do it "for us," but he did it *so that we can live in him.* If he just did it "for us" then God's righteousness could never be revealed in us. And that was the whole purpose of redemption, to have Christ's righteousness demonstrated in us.

I don't think Paul was as "unique" in his view of the truth as we often may think.

There are many many unique aspects to Paul's Theology.

First of all, Jesus called Him, separately, from the other Apostles.....And Jesus did that after Christ had returned to Heaven.
So, Jesus did this with no other Apostle.

Jesus said that "Paul is a Chosen Vessel" unto me.......as Christ sent Him to the GENTILES, as "the Apostle to the Gentiles"

Why?

Because the Birthday of the Body of Christ, the Church, is The Cross, and this began the "time of the Gentiles", and Paul, and no other Apostle is the "Apostle to the Gentiles".

So, He's unique in that case.

Also, Paul said that "The Gospel of the Grace of God"< that is "the Preaching of The Cross".... that is "The power of God, unto Salvation, unto all who Believe".....is The Gospel that Jesus personally gave to Paul.. Paul calls this Gospel..."MY Gospel" 3x in the NT.
And Paul said that NO MAN, NO PERSON, gave it to him......as He received it from JESUS Himself.

And then, you have the fact that most of the Epistle in the NT are written by Paul, and all The Church Doctrine comes from Paul.

IN Fact, it was in Acts 15 that Paul taught the other Apostles "The Gospel of the Grace of God".

Other reasons you need to study Paul...

If you have are starting a church and you need to know how to choose a Pastor...then you go to Paul, as he shows you how.

If you want to learn about the "9 Gifts of the Spirit", then you go to Paul, as He teaches those..

If you want to understand the difference between the "Judgement seat of Christ" and the 'Grt White Throne Judgment", then you go to Paul as He teaches that.

If you want to learn about Crowns given in Heaven, then you go to Paul as He teaches about that.

If you want to understand how to deal sexually with your wife or husband, according to God's will, then you go to Paul, as He teaches that.

If You want to understand what it means to be a "Heir of God' and a "joint heir with Christ' , then go to Paul, as those are his teaching.

If you want to understand how to run a Godly Forum, or run a Godly Church, with regards to dealing with Heretics, and strife filled trouble makers, and fake believers... then you go to Paul, as He teaches you what to do.

If you want to understand why giving to God your money or your life is a blessing to God that is given back to you more abundantly, then you go to Paul, as He teaches on that.

If you want to understand the "Armor of God" and how to put it on, then you go to Paul, as He teaches that..

And on and on..

Paul is the only Apostle who told the Christian Church..>"Be a follower of ME, as i follow Christ".

And Peter said that Paul's letters, that he had read or had at that time are "SCRIPTURE"... So that is Peter describing the letters of Paul, as equal to the TORAH.. .and that was long before a Bible showed up with Paul's epistles in it.

Yes, Jesus became the source of eternal righteousness just as the "one God" had been for Israel the exclusive source of their hope for eternal life in the OT. It really wasn't much different except that Jesus finished what was started under the Law,

Well, there was no Cross of Christ in the OT, and there is no Moses Law or 10 Commandments in the KOG.

Think of it like this..

God and Christ, are the KOG...... and when the person is born again, then the person become "IN CHRIST".... "having been Translated from Darkness.....TO LIGHT">

See that LIGHT?

That is...."GOD is A Spirit who exists in LIGHT""" ... and "Jesus is the LIGHT OF THE WORLD".. .and all the Born again are become "Children OF the LIGHT".

This is to become "seated in heavenly places" in the KOG.

The NT says that there is no Law that can give righteousness, so, the law was not given to provide it.. it was given to DEMAND Righteousness from you, that you dont have.
So, the Law shows you that, which leads you to The Cross of Christ so that God can give you His Righteousness, as "The Gift of Righteousness".

Welcome To : Salvation

Its a "Gift"

Paul's view wasn't unique. It's commonly accepted in Christianity that Christ's atonement is on the basis of faith.
Your sins are forgiven ·on account of Christ; 1 John 2:12 “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” Heb 10:15-17
This is because the mixture in the Church has people who are not truly born again and don't really understand Grace. They think Grace is just forgiveness when it is really much more than that--it is a change into a new nature, modeled after Christ. Those who are not born again do not understand a "new nature!"
Through Him you believe in God who raised Him from the dead...1 Peter 1:21 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. 1 John 2:20
So these shallow believers view the Law as black and forgiveness as white, and find the 2 systems as opposites when actually they were produced by one and the same God. God is as lawful in the NT as He was lawful in the OT. He asked Man to put on a new nature in the NT just as he asked the same in the OT.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me...
Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You. Psalm 51:10-13
The big difference between the testaments is that the OT showed the need for a final dealing with sin, whereas in the NT sin has been completely dealt with in a legal sense. So these are not 2 very different systems,
What does Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”...
David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the one to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: “Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them; Rom 4:3-8
and Paul was not alone to recognize this. I will leave it at this for now....
The words “it was credited to him” were written not for him alone, but also for us,
to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. Rom 4:23-25
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified,...Rom 10:9-10

All the hope in every heart will speak of what love has done
For as long as I shall live I will testify to love

The Apostle Paul's teaching regarding our "Soteriology".. is very unique.

He teaches that the Law and commandments, show us who we are in relation to God's Holiness.

Just asking , since you are saying " Born Again " , do you have a verse where Paul uses Born Again ?

Can you say that Paul was Born Again ??

If so , how was Paul saved ?

false.

even in the NT "SIN IS transgression of the LAW" 1 John 3:4
"These things I write that you SIN NOT" 1 John 2:2

Rom 6 "How shall we who DIED to sin - STILL LIVE IN IT"??

Rom 8:4-10 only the lost "do not submit to the LAW of God neither indeed CAN they"

Under the NEW Covenant of Heb 8 "The LAW is written on heart and mind" rather than "deleted"
Under the NEW Covenant "We ESTABLISH the LAW" Rom 3:31
Under the NEW Covenant "the saints KEEP the COMMANDMENTS of God - AND their faith in Jesus" Rev 14:12

Under the NEW Covenant we are "not to be deceived" - 1 Cor 6

7 Actually, then, it is already a defeat for you, that you have lawsuits with one another. Why not rather suffer the wrong? Why not rather be defrauded? 8 On the contrary, you yourselves do wrong and defraud. And this to your brothers and sisters!
9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor those habitually drunk, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

Paul appeals to the TEN in Eph 6 "Honor your father and mother which is the first commandment WITH a promise" Eph 6:2
1 John 5:3 "THIS IS the LOVE of God - that we KEEP His Commandments"

Rom 6
What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? 2 Far from it! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?

12 Therefore sin is not to reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts, 13 and do not go on presenting the parts of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead, and your body’s parts as instruments of righteousness for God. 14 For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under the Law but under grace.

15 What then? Are we to sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Far from it! 16 Do you not know that the one to whom you present yourselves as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of that same one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness? 17 But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were entrusted, 18 and after being freed from sin, you became slaves to righteousness. 19 I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented the parts of your body as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness, resulting in further lawlessness, so now present your body’s parts as slaves to righteousness, resulting in sanctification.

Eph 5:
3 But sexual immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be mentioned among you, as is proper among saints; 4 and there must be no filthiness or foolish talk, or vulgar joking, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this you know with certainty, that no sexually immoral or impure or greedy person, which amounts to an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
6 See that no one deceives you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Therefore do not become partners with them;

There are many many unique aspects to Paul's Theology.

First of all, Jesus called Him, separately, from the other Apostles.....And Jesus did that after Christ had returned to Heaven.
So, Jesus did this with no other Apostle.
ok , but what does that have to do with Paul's theology??

But just for clarity - my view is that ALL SCRIPTURE (not just what is written by Paul, or just what is written by the apostle John) - is inspired by God "And is to be used for doctrine" as we see in 2 Tim 3:16.
Jesus said that "Paul is a Chosen Vessel" unto me
Ok - and in John 6 He says He chose the 12 , He also says it in Matt 10.

what does that have to do with Paul's theology??
.......as Christ sent Him to the GENTILES, as "the Apostle to the Gentiles"

Why?

Because the Birthday of the Body of Christ, the Church, is The Cross
??

Actually Moses and Elijah stand with Christ in Matt 17 - in glory, fully glorified... before the cross.
As Paul says in Heb 4 "The Gospel was preached to us just as it was to them also"
, and this began the "time of the Gentiles", and Paul, and no other Apostle is the "Apostle to the Gentiles".
Philip evangelizes the Ethiopian eunuch in the book of Acts and Peter evangelizes the Roman Cornelius in the book of Acts before Paul goes to gentiles.

But how is this a "different" theology for Paul??
So, He's unique in that case.

Also, Paul said that "The Gospel of the Grace of God"< that is "the Preaching of The Cross"
Paul says there is only one Gospel in Gal 1:6-9 and that the one-and-only gospel was "preached to Abraham" Gal 3:8.
.... that is "The power of God, unto Salvation, unto all who Believe"
yep - the one and only Gospel.

As Jesus said in Matt 24 "THIS GOSPEL of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world and THEN shall the end come"
.....is The Gospel that Jesus personally gave to Paul.. Paul calls this Gospel..."MY Gospel" 3x in the NT.
for example in Rom 2:13-16
13 for it is not the hearers of the Law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the Law who will be justified. 14 For when Gentiles who do not have the Law instinctively perform the requirements of the Law, these, though not having the Law, are a law to themselves, 15 in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience testifying and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, 16 on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of mankind through Christ Jesus.

So in vs 16 Paul's gospel shows no difference between God judging Jew vs gentile other than the fact that he judges the Jews first.

And then there is the gospel for both Jews and gentiles - the same for both in Romans 2

25 For indeed circumcision is of value if you practice the Law; but if you are a violator of the Law, your circumcision has turned into uncircumcision. 26 So if the uncircumcised man keeps the requirements of the Law, will his uncircumcision not be regarded as circumcision? 27 And he who is physically uncircumcised, if he keeps the Law, will he not judge you who though having the letter of the Law and circumcision are a violator of the Law? 28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. 29 But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter; and his praise is not from people, but from God.

And Paul said that NO MAN, NO PERSON, gave it to him......as He received it from JESUS Himself.
same with the 12
And then, you have the fact that most of the Epistle in the NT are written by Paul, and all The Church Doctrine comes from Paul.
true - but it does not indicate something different about his doctrine.
IN Fact, it was in Acts 15 that Paul taught the other Apostles "The Gospel of the Grace of God".
Both Peter and Paul make their case to the Apostles in Acts 15. Starting with Peter's argument that the gentiles are saved the same way as Jews based on his experience with God and the evangelism of Cornelius.
Other reasons you need to study Paul...
ok -- I do agree with you that we need to read the inspired writings of Paul just like all the rest in the NT -- since it is in fact the Holy Spirit teaching in all of them.

Paul's teaching is the same as Jesus, John, Peter, James, etc. It's the gospel of grace, that with man nothing is possible but with God all things are possible, including finally becoming who we were created to be-and we weren't created to sin. So Paul tells us what reconciliation with God should look like:

"To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, He will give eternal life." Rom 2:7

"Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live. For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God." Rom 8:12-14

Paul says there is only one Gospel in Gal 1:6-9 and that the one-and-only gospel was "preached to Abraham" Gal 3:8.
for example in Rom 2:13 for it is not the hearers of the Law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the Law who will be justified.
By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. Rom 3:27
"The Covenant is the Gospel - So we see that this everlasting covenant with Abraham was simply the preaching of the everlasting Gospel of the kingdom, and the assuring to him of a part in its blessings. The promise to Abraham was a promise [based on a promise], and nothing else,..."{EVCO 84.4}
Romans 2
Since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law. Rom 3:30-31
"And the covenant was the everlasting covenant, of which Christ is Mediator. Its scope is identical with that of the new covenant, in which God says, “I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be may people.” {EVCO 84.4}

You’re making a lot of assumptions here. Paul taught the exact same gospel as Jesus did during His ministry. It’s the exact same gospel that all of the apostles taught. And Paul wasn’t the only apostle who preached to Gentiles. All of the apostles preached to both Jews and Gentiles. And Acts 15 doesn’t say that Paul taught the apostles anything. Acts 15 is basically the first ecumenical council where all of the apostles met together to discuss the matter of circumcision and they came to a unanimous decision. If anything Acts 15 has James making the final ruling on the matter, not Paul.

What do you think Paul meant when he wrote these words to Timothy?

“If we endure, we will also reign with Him;
And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. Heb 6:15

He saw my day and was glad. John 8:56-58

Indeed we count them blessed who endure. James 5:11

The hope of the righteous will be gladness, Prov 10:28
Be glad and rejoice in the Lord you righteous; Psalm 32:1-11
Again, I say rejoice! Philippians 4:4
If we deny Him, He also will deny us;”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭12‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬
Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, ...
This is why it is said: “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.” Eph 5:11-14

Lord, let Your face shine on us, that we may be saved. Psalm 80:7
So that we can rejoice in You. Psalm 85:6

Can you give an actual explanation of the verse? Posting other verses of scripture isn’t explaining anything about what Paul is writing to Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:12.

Can you give an actual explanation of the verse? Posting other verses of scripture isn’t explaining anything about what Paul is writing to Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:12.
So based on your viewpoint that what he wrote is exclusively for Timothy, does that mean that you're not included?
The verse states that if you remain in the faith, then you are partakers of the blessing in Christ,
if you end up denying Christ then you're on your own.
For if they had been of us, they would have remained with us;
But you have an anointing from the Holy One and all of you know the truth. 1 John 2:19-20

Yes. And another difference between the old and the new is that, as sin is dealt with, man turns away from it and to God, entering a familial relationship with Him that man was absolutely made for and that, itself, defines his justice; alienation from God being the essence or foundation of fallen man's injustice

It's not as though we don't have examples in Scripture of why they did not obtain a right foundational standing.
They were seeking a justification of their own through the works of the law. They ignored the offering provided for sin
and were seeking to approach God with their blemished self-righteous filthy rags. No flesh will be justified in His sight; Rom 3:20
In other words, they were not united with the congregation of faith and as such are referred to as habitual sinners. (Heb 10:25)
For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; Heb 5:9-12
