The most that could come out of this is actual impeachment .... but even if this was accomplished impeachment will not remove Biden from office. There are many ways to wiggle out of impeachment .... this is mostly about exposure (by the Republicans) and will the exposure of evidence provided convince people
not to vote for Biden (should he run). It takes 2/3 of the senate to pass actual impeachment... and that will never happen .... because the Democratic party has the majority in the senate.

It won't happen because President Biden has done nothing which rises to the level of impeachment. This is political theater on the part of republicans.

Debatable ... have to wait and see what is brought forth as evidence. Like I said .... regardless of what is brought forth there will not be actual impeachment ... because of the democratic senate majority.

We have seen what they have brought forth, and it is nothing. They are doing this on behalf of Trump.

Unless, crimes were actually commited and some of them are willing to vote against their president.
Let's not forget that in Trump's second impeachment 7 Republican Senators voted against Trump.

Momentum behind impeachment inquiry slows under new speaker

The inquiry stagnated during the 3-week fight to elect a new speaker. Now, James Comer has sent out new subpoenas as Speaker Mike Johnson strikes a more reserved tone.

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), a constitutional lawyer by training, has taken a more reserved tone, both publicly and privately, urging members to conduct a thorough and fair investigation with no predetermined outcome. In a closed-door meeting with House GOP moderates this week, he indicated that there is insufficient evidence at the moment to initiate formal impeachment proceedings, according to people who attended the meeting.

As Johnson has stressed thoroughness and specificity in the inquiry, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) has continued to call for formal impeachment proceedings. He issued subpoenas for Hunter Biden and James Biden on Wednesday, requesting the president’s son and brother appear for depositions, and requested voluntary closed-door interviews with other Biden family members, including Hallie Biden, the widow of Hunter’s older brother Beau with whom Hunter Biden had an affair after his brother died, and Hunter’s wife, Melissa Cohen. Comer issued additional subpoenas on Thursday requesting interviews with several of Hunter Biden’s business associates, including his New York City art gallerist, Georges Bergès, and Elizabeth Naftali, a buyer of Hunter Biden’s art who is also a Democratic donor.

Actually, that is shameful on the Senate republicans that only seven voted for impeachment of a man who got a mob to storm the Capitol Building.

How many times was Trump impeached? Who impeached him? It wasn't the Senate.

President Donald Trump was impeached twice during his single term in office. In each case, he was acquitted on all counts by the Senate.

But he was the first president that was impeached and has been voted for by members of his own party. That is a sign that something is wrong with the man being in the office.

Well...even back then in Feb, 2021 when they had less evidence than we have now, this was the outcome:

"At the conclusion of the trial, the Senate voted 57–43 to convict Trump of inciting insurrection, falling 10 votes short of the two-thirds majority required by the Constitution, and Trump was therefore acquitted. Seven Republican senators joined all Democratic and independent senators in voting to convict Trump, the largest bipartisan vote for an impeachment conviction of a U.S. president or former U.S. president.[8][9] "

He was acquitted of the charges ... found not guilty .. not convicted ... no president has ever been convicted .... 3 have been impeached.
Three presidents have been impeached, although none were convicted: Andrew Johnson was in 1868, Bill Clinton was in 1998, and Donald Trump twice, in 2019 and 2021.

None were found guilty ... therefore none were removed from office. Either one is found guilty or not guilty. Our judcial system operates by innocent until proven guilty .... nothing was proven in a court of law .so they (all of them) are assumed innocent... period. In the case of Trump it did go to court .... but it was not proven.

They could have rid them of the disaster of Trump and returned dignity and integrity and policy to the heart of their party.
Instead here we are, where they are likely to vote for a convicted sexual assaulter, financial fruader and a person with 91 charges, out on bail in four states and potentially either sitting in jail or on house arrest in his palatial elitist home at the time of the 2024 presidential election

Acquitted ... what is the mis understanding of found NOT GUILTY. It don't matter how it happened and who did what ... charges were brought and he was found innocent of the charges ... period.

Three presidents have been impeached, although none were convicted: Andrew Johnson was in 1868, Bill Clinton was in 1998, and Donald Trump twice, in 2019 and 2021.
The Clinton impeachment was a fiasco. The guilt was guilty of lying about having an affair. Hardly a threat to USA or democracy.

None were found guilty ... therefore none were removed from office. Either one is found guilty or not guilty. Our judcial system operates by innocent until proven guilty .... nothing was proven in a court of law .so they (all of them) are assumed innocent... period.
The political process of impeachment isn't a judicial process and isn't about guilt or not.
It's about showing to the public what has happened and what evidence there is, and then the politicians acting or not on that before the public and facing whatever repercussions or not that that might be at the next election for acting or not.
Voting not to remove Trump seemed to have no repercussions for the Republican Senators. Therefore most of the USA Republican voters were saying "We just don't care about whether Trump does crimes, we want him as our president regardless."

In the case of Trump it did go to court .... but it was not proven.
He is in court right now. Multiple courts, in one they have said he is liable and they are just working out the price rather than the guilt.

They didn't find him innocent, they just voted not to remove him from office. BIG difference.

Sadly, this is probably true. Only 22 agreed to censure Tlib for her antisemiticism
