Is it only blessed if the home is Christian?

You are against celibacy, so you can find selfishness in it..... you are for marriage, so you can't see it anyone using it selfishly.

No use trying to reason here.

I'm not against celibacy. It's just not a proof you are living more for Christ. There can be selifishness in marriage, also in celibacy. You can be a great servant of God married or not. What God is looking for are people who have given their whole life and heart to Christ. That can be done married and can be done in celibacy.

You’re welcome. :)

Here’s a few of my favorites. They’re really helpful for people grappling with this.

When He Doesn’t Believe - Nancy Kennedy
Waiting for His Heart - Joy McClain
Winning Him Without Words - Lynn Donovan

Let’s be honest...

50% of Christian marriages end in divorce. Having a Christian spouse doesn’t guarantee marital success or happiness.

The majority who’ve left the faith, moved to other religions, or stopped attending church were raised in Christian homes. Having Christian parents doesn’t imply they’ll follow in your footsteps.

I think it’s less about our beliefs than who we become in light of them and the impact our faith and character has on those we love.
