My 3 year old, Patrick, broke his femur 6 weeks ago. He just got his cast off but he's likely to be immobile for another 6-8 weeks. I'm so out of my element and I don't really know how to accommodate him. I need some help and some support and dn't really know where else to get it.

Is he going to have physical therapy to help re-gain his mobility and to repair any damage done by being immobile for so long?

What kinds of issues are you having with regards to accommodating him?

Does he have special needs? Autistic? Mentally challenged in any way?

I have an autistic son and can imagine how hard it would be to accommodate him if he were in that type of position. *knocks on wood*
