I don't see basis from scriptures for the position that Christ's atonement covers all people entirely. The way is narrow, what could that mean? Many will perish (I don't claim that means they are annihilated), it is certain from some passages that there are people who will die in their sins, and there is not salvation for any without what Christ does for them, which needs their response with faith, having repentance. Their sins are the reason for what judgment is applied to them, not just lacking faith, though the right faith with this repentance is needed to be avoiding that. With this response, being in Christ we have Christ's righteousness accounted to us.
See passages such as these:

Romans 5:7-9:
7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!

II Peter 3:9:
9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Romans 5:17-19:
17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
18 Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people. 19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

Not all have faith however, many reject the Gospel message. Salvation is offered to ALL people through Christ's redemptive work.
As for sin...we all have the sinful nature until heaven where the curse of sin is taken away. We are not as believers to feed the sinful nature and its deeds, but rather sow to please the Spirit. We all stumble in many ways in our Christian walk, but repentance and forgiveness is offered.

Why are people going to the Lake of Fire? What reason?

One thing has nothing to do with the other.

The "narrow way" that few find is the way of learning sound doctrinal thinking that leads to maturity in Christ which grants one the ability to life life to the fullest. Jesus came that was may have life more abundantly. Most Christians are not that happy.

Here is the broad and narrow way...
For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine.
Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great
number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 2 Timothy 4:3

Here is the narrow way... "Sound doctrine." Few teach it properly.
It hits us over the head with truth and lets us know what jerks we in our carnality are when its needed.

Many will find sound doctrine distasteful.

Instead?

They will seek the broad and wide way (a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear) a smorgasbord of all kinds of pastors to tell us what believers prefer to hear, so we can feel good about ourselves when sound doctrine would have put us down, so Christ could be built up in us. Sound doctrine would make certain believers to stop being children and to grow up to be mature adults in Christ.

I have no disagreement with this. We were all dinners, our righteousness is self perceived, it is all filthy rags before God, who knows all that is in our hearts. It is in Christ that we who come have Christ's righteousness counted as ours, with Christ having borne the consequences for our sins. This is for anyone, if they come to Christ. It is their own fault if they just won't, and many just don't. But still, many do. Just, many more don't.

For all people means for Israelites, Greeks, Scythians, Egyptians, Romans, Germans, Russians, Americans, Mexicans, and so on for any nationalities, not that every single individual is meant, but every individual of every nationality and every ethnicity, and even of every other faith has opportunity to know of God and know the need, to be shown what to do and to repent, to come to be covered in Christ. Those who don't will not be, those are many, not coming to the narrow way.

Why are people going to the Lake of Fire? What reason?

I only admit the Lake of Fire in the book of Revelation is symbolic, like much that is in the book. It still means things that will be real. There will be misery that is torment that those apart from Christ with their choices will suffer which is represented that way, in the amount fair for that, which God knows, and you wouldn't, I wouldn't either. We all have sins and our own righteousness that we perceive for ourselves is as filthy rags to God who knows what is in our hearts.

few find it.

That conclusion is seeing the narrow way mentioned in the scriptures out of context. Many will perish, wide is the way to destruction. That means something even if it does not mean annihilation, though many like the conclusion they find that there is annihilation.

Right doctrine is what we have in the Bible, anything apart from the Bible can't be right for doctrine to teach.
