We who know the New Testament well and have experience know what Paul is saying.
He doesn't have to mention EVERY aspect of the Spirit of life in that one verse.
It is obvious that he is talking about the Spirit which Jesus spoke of as "shall flow rivers of living water" out of the repentant sinner's
innermost being in John 7:38.
And this is the same Person whom the disciples were "about to receive". (v.39)
In Romans 7 Paul testifies what his life was like without the Spirit.
In Romans 8 he testifies living with this Spirit unleashing the riches of Him - the Spirit of life.
The Spirit there is Jesus Christ - "Now the Lord is the Spirit" (2 Cor. 3:17)
The Spirit of life is the last Adam Christ in His pneumatic form - the last Adam became a life giving Spirit (1 Cor. 15:45)
Again, there is a river flowing from you, it just isn't the River of Living Water.
You are preaching that the "Spirit of Life" that was in Christ Jesus, "Is Christ Jesus". This is the water flowing from within you, that you want me and others to drink.
But when I go to the Jesus "of the Bible", and I ask Him, "Jesus, Oikonomia is preaching to others that the Spirit of Life that was in you, when you walked the earth, was your Own Spirit? Is this true?
Here is what the Jesus of the Bible says in answer to my question.
John 14:
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, "and the Father in me"? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father "that dwelleth in me", he doeth the works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
John 6:
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will "of him that sent me".
John 17:
3 And this is life eternal, "that they might know thee" the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. 4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which "thou gavest me to do". 5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had "with thee" before the world was.
So clearly what you are preaching doesn't align with the Words of the Christ Himself. What about the Witnesses in the New Testament? Did they believe the religious philosophy flowing from within you?
Heb. 5:
7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears "unto him" that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
So you preach Jesus prayed to Himself?
8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
A son of whom? Himself?
9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; 10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.
So you preach that Jesus called Himself a high priest. What does Paul say about your preaching that the Spirit of Life that was in Jesus, "The Spirit there is Jesus Christ".
Phip. 2:
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: (Equal with Himself")
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he "humbled himself", and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. (Obedient to Himself?)
9 Wherefore "God" also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: (Jesus highly exalted Himself, gave Himself a name about others?)
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory "of God" the Father.
So, I asked you, a self-appointed preacher who claims to know the New Testament my question, "Who was the Spirit of Life that was in Christ Jesus". And you answered "The Spirit there is Jesus Christ".
But clearly this was false, a false teaching. Not according to the Baptist religion, or the Catholic religion, or any of this world's religious sects and businesses, but according to the Words of the Christ "of the Bible" Himself. This is the water that flows from within your heart, and you are giving it to others to drink. In the exact same way Paul, before he "Yielded Himself" a servant to obey God, also promoted rivers of water. And from the hearts of the religious sect of the Pharisees also flowed rivers of water they gave to others to drink. Just not Living Waters.
And how did this happen? Was it not because they "Omitted" much of what God had written for their admonition? Did the Jesus "of the Bible" not tell them "
these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone".
So how can you call Jesus Lord, Lord, teach others in His Name, and yet promote outright falsehoods about Him, as you clearly are doing? Well it goes right back to how you also promoted falsehoods about me and what I was saying. You are selecting scriptures for the purpose of self-justification, not seeking the Truth of God. And how shall I Love a man who engages in this popular practice, a tradition I also engaged in, in times past? Shall I not do my best to show him, to help him, not with my words, but from the Holy scriptures themselves?
And this I have done. So you can consider the Scriptures I posted regarding the religious philosophy you are promoting, or not. It's time for me to move on.
Thanks for the discussion.
