Former Federal MP and AMA president calls for research into vax injuries

In an interview, the former Australian Medical Association president and medical practitioner said more research was vital to understanding both the disease and vaccine injury as the pandemic continues.

Former federal MP Dr Kerryn Phelps says she and her partner experienced vaccine injury, calling for tests for long COVID and vaccine injuries as well as more research on the long-term harms of the coronavirus and immunisation side effects.

“People who have vaccine injuries are not anti-vaxxers, because they have turned up to have vaccines. They’re wanting to protect themselves against the serious consequences of COVID,” she said.

Dr Phelps said both reactions were reported to the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) “but never followed up”.

“Regulators of the medical profession have censored public discussion about adverse events following immunisation, with threats to doctors not to make any public statements about anything that ‘might undermine the government’s vaccine rollout’ or risk suspension or loss of their registration,” she said.

She added that “in trying to convince people in positions of influence to pay attention to the risks of Long Covid and reinfection for people with vaccine injury, I have personally been met with obstruction and resistance to openly discuss this issue”.

In July this year, the independent OzSAGE group of which Dr Phelps is a member issued a position statement calling for better systems and management of Covid vaccine adverse events and “recognition of the impact of vaccine injury”.

Dr Phelps, who was heavily involved in crafting the statement, wrote in her submission that the OzSAGE document “outlines the scope but not the scale of the problem because we do not know the scale of the problem”.

THE LAST HOUR OR WHAT?

1 Jn 2:18 states twice we are living in the last hour.

FIRST PREMISE: My understanding is that the last hour from the Hebrew perspective meant the soon-coming end of the old covenant (the last hour came upon Jerusalem in A.D. 70). This means the end of an era was at hand which would immediately open the floodgates of the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom of God to the entire world. No more Israel, no more temples, no more "chosen people" (through the law of Moses).

Since Yeshua the Messiah shed His blood (Mat. 26:28, Lk 22:20), the people of "The Way" became the only chosen ones who walk forward into the realms of eternity.

SECOND PREMISE: In my view, the last hour also means that from the moment the resurrection of Jesus Christ took place, the "last days of history" began because death was defeated by a MAN who rose from the grave to ascend to the throne of glory and rule from heaven over all His creation.

The following verses can be understood from the perspective of the coming judgment of Israel, but also as the closure of the age of the law, (Heb 1:2, 1Pe 1:20, 1Cor. 10:11, James 5:8, 1 Pet 4:7, 2 Pet 3:9, 11; Rev 1:3, 22:10).

Do you agree? If not, why not?

The Fall of the West (It's Happening Now)

It is my understanding that the ideologies that both the Greeks and the Romans adopted led to the demise of these once-global powers from the west.

Things like adopting Homosexuality, a loss of national identity, and generally an attack on family values led to the demise of these once powerful entities.

That is exactly what is happening in the west today. A society cannot continue to function when family values (Read: Judeo-Christian values) are eroded from the culture.

In fact, even though we have a global economy which means it is harder for the west to fall, nonetheless, we may be more immoral in the US than in any other culture in history. We have mass shootings, abortion, an LGBTQ+ agenda, a decline of Christianity, and only about 6% of people in the US hold a Biblical worldview (which drops to 2% for Gen Z). While you could make the case that other nations around the world are more unchristian (Japan, for example, where there are only 1% of Christians in the population including cults and anything even resembling Christianity), I say what I say due to such a rapid drop away from Christianity in the US. It is how fast we are declining that I say this. We are entering a state of spiritual blindness in the US.

I believe most of the fault for this falls on Millennials (of which I am a part). I know people close to me who say, "I am thankful for deconstruction," Etc.

It's time for millennials to make the change we need to make as a society. This can only be done by God. The US is in a very sad state. Liberalism is rampant. Philosophers are knowingly trying to change the definition of words (such as questions of gender). If you are a Christian, you must speak out against the secular society, get on your knees and pray for revival. God can change this country, but He's the only one who can.

I quite agree. Personally, I think we have gone beyond the tipping point, but that's me. I think the snowball is rapidly approaching peak mass and velocity, and nothing with stop it now until it slams into the trunk of the huge tree at the bottom of the hill.

The video covers a number of big points the biggest being how incredibly minor or dubious the reason for intervention was, it often took only one online article largely based on rumor to get the FBI complaining about bots interfering with something.

We are not saved by our works but...

A true faith will always have repentance and works. This is stated in scripture over and over again but I'm only going to give one example due to time and length of the OP. In John 15 for example Jesus shows a beautiful illustration in how true faith works.

In John 15:2 Jesus says:

"Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit."

John 15:4

"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.

In John 15:6 Jesus again warns that those who do not bear fruit will be tossed into the fire and burned.

In John 15:8 Jesus says that the Father's will is that the Christian will bear much fruit and prove to him and to the world that we are his true disciples. When we Christians bear fruit God prunes and takes care of it (See John 15:1)

Now we turn to the Book of Ephesians.

In Ephesians 2:8-9 Paul says "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast."

This proves that we are not saved by works as does Romans 4:5 but in the very next verse Paul teaches where our works come from and what they're for.

Ephesians 2:10 says "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

So if you call yourself a Christian and you don't bear fruit that can be problematic and I would question whether or not your faith is genuine as Paul says in 2 Corinthians 13:5. Repentance on the other hand is a sign that you're saved and sealed because Repentance comes from the regeneration of the Holy Spirit. Without us being regenerated by the Holy Spirit we have no hope for heaven (See John 3).

Fasting?

Hey, has anyone here tried fasting? If so how was the longest you went, and did you experience any results? The longest I went was 24 hours on a strictly water fast, I did not experience any obvious results but I think something may have happened in the spirit world. Many times if someone at my church was ill I would decide to fast for a healing to try to help them out, one time a woman was very ill with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and I fasted for her healing, a month or so later she got prayer and God touched her and she got miraculously healed! I am not positive but my fast might have had a hand in this!

My dad's health

I was just asking for anybody who passed by to pray for my dad. He just started feeling bad and remarked that I might have to take him to the ER a few minutes ago. Maybe it is a Satanic attack, today I was talking to my mom about my dad and how they should be thankful for his health. In spite of his minor ailments, he has had a White Blood cell Leukemia that has been in remission for 10-15 years. I told my mom that many Christians, like Pentecostals and Charismatics would consider it a miracle, because back in 1997 when he received the diagnosis 20 years was the maximum that anybody lived with it. And here we are past that, and his blood work is normal etc. (My parents Lutheran background was shy about that kind of thing, even teaching that miracles went away with Apostles previously).

Anyway, thanks for your prayers!

Paul’s election

Of all the Israelites and Pharisees living in the time of Paul who rejected the gospel, why was paul chosen? What made him different from all other Israelites and leaders of that time?

Isn’t it strange that only one Pharisee receives mercy above all others? He was an antichrist before his calling, so why did YashaYah have mercy on him?

Could he be a foreshadowing for future Israelites chosen to become Gods elect?

It’s said in scripture that many are called but only few chosen and we know in revelation only 144,000 are chosen from among the Israelites in the future

And why only 144,000 to become chosen firstfruits? Yes there will be others gathered which are the elect of god when he sends his angels but what will make these 144,000 special, above all?

Thoughts?

If free-will is an uninformed choice, what about consequences?

What consequences are appropriate if our free-will choices are uninformed?

Like Adam and Eve, we have no idea what death is like, or the afterlife.
If our decision to follow Christ is based on acquiring a desirable afterlife for ourselves,
as opposed to being incinerated for all eternity... then...

It's an uninformed free-will decision.

Those who decide to not follow Christ are equally uninformed. (or more so)
In that case, what are appropriate consequences? (if any)

If free-will is an uninformed choice, what about consequences?
Jesus said it best...

Please join in my prayers

Lord, reveal the work of God the Father to me, my people(Ha-young, Ye-young, Ui-seop, Jung-won, Hye-ok, Yul-bin, Suzy, Eun-tae, In-sook, Im-hak, Tan-ae), and to all who read it and pray, and let us know that the Father is in the Son Jesus and that Jesus is in the Father. The will of the true God, who knows all our needs, transcends our personal will. And that all of us will clearly see the Glory that God the Father gave to the Son because He loved His Son before the foundation of the world. Let Jesus Christ directly reveal the name of God the Father to us and see His glory. I Pray that all our glory be truly dedicated to your Son, Jesus Christ. And that we all shomer mitzvot regarding his commandments(keep his commandments) without failure. May God make possible what is impossible for man. Amen and amen!

RedState Expose on RNC Spending

Right-wing blog site RedState has published a report critical of RNC's lavish spending under the leadership of Rhona McDaniel. RedState supports her rival, Harmeet Dhillon.

It is difficult to accurately categorize all of the expenditures because a significant number of transactions seem to be misclassified. For example, nearly $5,000 spent in 2022 at Lululemon, a luxury athletic apparel brand, was classified as “office expense,” as were two expenditures totaling $9,300 at Madison Square Garden in 2017.

Assistant dean of Virginia christian college sentenced to 6 years on child pornography charges

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WRIC) — The former assistant dean of a private christian college in Virginia Beach pleaded guilty to possessing over 500 files of child sexual abuse earlier this year, and has now been sentenced to 6 years in prison.

Robert Scott Morris, 37, used a “peer-to-peer” file sharing program to download child pornography involving children as young as 1 year old, according to a statement of facts signed by Morris as part of his plea agreement.

Until he was arrested, Morris was the assistant dean of students for Wave Leadership College, a christian college that trains ministers, located in Virginia Beach.

FBI's relationship with twitter in influencing the election.

The FBI maintained constant contact with Twitter, to the point of sharing temporary top-secret security clearances, according to the latest release of what Musk allies are calling the "Twitter Files," this time from author Michael Shellenberger. The company also had several ex-FBI members on staff and had open channels to communicate with the agency in the weeks before the 2020 election.
The FBI opened a "virtual war room" with Twitter in September 2020 to handle election misinformation. The channel was a one-way communication from the FBI to Twitter and included representatives from the Department of Homeland Security and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

January 6 committee recommends charges against Donald Trump over Capitol riot
Posted 3h ago3 hours ago, updated 2h ago

The US committee investigating the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot has recommended charges against former president Donald Trump.

At its final public hearing, the panel voted unanimously to refer the former president to the Department of Justice on four criminal counts.

They are obstruction of an official proceeding of Congress, conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to make a false statement, and insurrection.

The department is conducting its own investigation into January 6 and is not compelled to act on the committee's recommendations.

The committee made its case against Mr Trump over nine public hearings.

A preview of the final report of the select committee revealed some of the findings against Mr Trump, including:

  • Purposely disseminating false allegations of fraud related to the 2020 presidential election
  • Corruptly pressuring vice-president Mike Pence to refuse to count electoral votes
  • Attempting to enlist justice department officials to make purposely false statements and thereby aid his effort to overturn the presidential election
  • Unlawfully pressuring state officials and legislators to change the results of the election in their states
  • Plotting to overturn the election outcome
The full report is expected to be released on Thursday, Australia time. (Wednesday US time)

Apologist David Wood's, "Randy" needs prayer for his parole appeal

One of the big upcoming Christian Apologist's the last few years is David Wood. I think he is roughly 10 years younger than myself, which would put him in his mid 40s. Wood has done a lot of great Apologetics against Islam due to the fact that his best friend Nabeel Qureshi who died 5 years ago, suffered a lot of persecution due to his conversion to Christianity in the early 2000s. I find David Wood's testimony very compelling, and worth watching videos where he details it out when he is a guest speaker at a church etc. but here is a short video.

My Synopsis for folks that don't watch videos

David Wood in the 1990's is a teenager that is most likely a psychopath (born without a conscience). He is under different delusions the biggest one is he concludes that he is a superior evolved human being. David believed the fact that he did not experience some basic emotions like grief from the loss of the death of a pet, or a friend etc. as evidence of his being more highly evolved than other humans. He does however find himself bound by some of the moral restrictions he was taught as a young kid, so he decides to rebel against these so his evolution can be complete. One day he suddenly decided to murder his father with a hammer when his dad's back is turned, to help with his evolution. His father was severely injured by the surprise attack but not aware who committed it. Law enforcement officials concluded by the scene of the crime and by interviewing David that he did it even though he did not confess to the killing; because it was obvious based on the clues and David Wood was not able to hide the fact that he was mentally disturbed from the various forensic people that interviewed him. All of this led to get him being tried and convicted and sent to a mental hospital for violent felons.

While at the hospital, David continued in his delusions and continued to believe he was superior to all those around him. Eventually however Wood met Randy, Randy was unlike the other people he had met. When Wood would tease or harass him for being a Christian, that it was stupid or silly for believing the Faith/Bible because he was just following what other people told him, Randy pushed back and often won the argument showing how his argument was hypocritical or otherwise defective. This caused David to become a bit obsessed with Randy where he felt the need to compete with him. He began to study the Bible and Christianity just so he could argue better against Randy. He also began to out-due Randy in fasting, this however was his undoing because he actually fasted too long, enough to have problems passing out and going under a 48-hour psychiatric evaluation because the authorities did not understand his fasting (they believed in was some kind of suicidal hunger strike.). His time in isolation however caused him to reflect on his own behavior and beliefs in light of the Bible, eventually resulting in him doing a kind of "Sinner's prayer", and the rest is history as they say...

Randy's Story
Randy case is interesting. He was in the Navy as a young man in his early twenties and "got saved" / became a Christian in the service. His conversion however affected his conscience, in his younger years he had committed a number of misfeasors like vandalism, and a few felonies like property crimes and felt bad about them, and eventually confessed to them at the local police station that caused him to get arrested and serve some time in prison and later he was brought into the criminal mental hospital for some unknown reason where he met David. The nature of his circumstances that he was there by confession rather being caught caused David to initially look down upon him, but also sparked his interest because he was unlike all the other criminal patients at the hospital.

He however used the time productively he studied the faith, and realized it was a great time to practice certain spiritual disciplines like fasting because such activities would not interfere with normal everyday responsibilities like working a job or family.

Interesting enough, Randy's case background seems much less severe than David's, God basically did a miracle with David was as far as transforming him and getting him out of that situation while Randy stayed in a few decades longer. I think some of this is God's plan that he impacted other people's lives besides David's. Also, that God "had a plan for Randy's life". One of the things he studied in his incarceration is Graphic Design, and this is something that David Wood needs. So, it seems like a kind of poetic ending / story book ending that the person was most instrumental in David's Wood conversion can also be helped by him with testifying at his parole hearing and also offering a job and career leaving prison by working in his ministry!

Current Need
So, while the parole hearing from a few months ago went well there is still a need for prayer. (David told his testimony and detailed how Randy was important to his own reform and transformation and the parole board really studied it and took notes). Maybe Satan is trying to keep Randy in the Klink and stop him from helping David's ministry. Anyway, I thought it was a worthy cause for the board, and that some people might be inspired by the story.

Thanks!
