What Do You Think Of These Kenneth Hagin Video Clips? Disturbing?

I came across these video clips of Kenneth Hagin a little while ago. I, for one, find what I have viewed on these clips to be disturbing...to say the least. I would like to know your opinion of what you see.

Although I hold to the old-line pentecostal beliefs, and am quite acquainted with lively, Spirit-filled services, to me, these video clips are quite possibly depictions of flesh-dominated services gone amuck.

I do not normally agree with pawcreek but this kind of thing serves to arouse suspicision.

Definately not the orderly service Paul calls for in 1 Corinthians.

I grew up with word of faith teachings and was recently healed of them. I didn't even realize until fairly recently how much damage those teachings do. Stay away from 'papa hagin'. He was a deceptive prophet/teacher and leads so many astray. Love those who are involved in these teachings. Pray for them. Ask God to shine His light in their lives that they may seek truth over ticklish ears.

I just become sad with this stuff because I know too many people still caught up in these teachings but God is good and faithful and I believe they will see His truth.

I think the moving of the Holy Spirit is legit. I have been out in the Spirit and I truly felt it was a touch from God. However, our flesh often leads us into what I term 'charismatic choas'. Then we complain when other denominations don't find our methods a legitimate moves of God.

I can't view the clips because I'm at work and those sites are filetered out but it sounds bizarre to me. Nothing that would be a result from the Holy Spirit. What's spiritual about rolling on the floor and making animal sounds. It may be from some spirit, but not the Holy Spirit imho.

I saw a person once become possessed by a demon. He did a lot of writhing.

I cannot say it oft enough, stay away from the wof movement. It's not a 'God' thing.

I agree that this kind of service is not what Paul 'had in mind', when it came to a church service being done in order and decency.

I'm curious, what do you not agree with Pawcreek about? Maybe it would be better stated...what do you agree with Pawcreek about?...Just curious.

Thankfully I never 'fell' into the wofer belief system. When one takes the time to carefully analyze not only what wofer's like Hagin teach but how they have lived their lives, one can see that the wofer belief system is pretty much the greedy leading the greedy.

One thing more. I don't call what they teach 'name it-claim it'. Instead I would describe it as 'frame it-name-it-claim it'.

I agree. I once saw something in a word of faith church I attended that I can only know now as evil. I didn't understand it at the time but it sure did shake me up. I just didn't even realize evil could permeate the service at the time so I didn't recognize it. Now I see it for what it was but it took a couple years of intense praying to see it.
