I have no idea who David C Pack is or what he teaches but it doesn't matter if God is our Authority.

God wrote and God spoke His Ten Commandments, it is His personal Testimony written by the finger of God, Exo 31;18 which is the Holy Spirit. For me there is no greater Authority than He, even if its not the popular path to follow.

Exo 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

The weekly Sabbath is meant to be a blessing Isa 56:2 because man can‘t bless or sanctify themselves Isa 66:17 we need God and God connects the Sabbath to His Creation Exo 20:11 and connects His Sabbath to His re-creation or sanctification Eze 20:12 God said the Sabbath is on the seventh day Exo 20:10 its really a sign of our loyalty Eze 20:20

Jesus condemned those who keep their own law in lieu of obeying God’s commandments quoting directly from the Ten Commandments

Mat 15:3 He answered and said to them, “Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? 4 For God commanded, saying, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’ 5 But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God”— 6 then he need not honor his father [a]or mother.’ Thus you have made the [b]commandment of God of no effect by your tradition. 7 Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying:

8 ‘These people [c]draw near to Me with their mouth,
And honor Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.
9 And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ”

Jesu said, If you love Me, keep My commandments John 14:15, the Sabbath was never a suggestion or part of multiple choices for God’s people, the Sabbath is a commandment of God,, both personally written and spoken by the God of the Universe. We keep through our faith, because we trust He knows what’s best for us. Exo 20:6 1 John 5:3

Jesus isn't our Sabbath commander; Paul is.
The Ministration of death, means the 10Cs, is that correct?
Means the 10Cs are abolished.
Can we sin, if 10 Cs are abolished? No. We have the law of Christ. Gal 6.2.
If Sabbath were still an issue; then why is there no mention, past Colossians?
No; you don't have Heb 4:9..

My Friend, Paul is a servant of Christ, remember Jesus said the servant is not greater than his master ( christ) Jesus one with God gave us the sabbath, it is part of the ten commandments. The ministration of death has to do with the rest of the law of Moses, not the 10 commandments.

Sabbath is still an issue , it is the sign of the Covenant ( the ten commandments) all the 10 Commandments are a (COMMAND FROM GOD) furthermore it is a test of obedience and trust in the Lord who provides for those who do his will.
One man, even Paul cannot undo the word of GOD, All authority in heaven and earth was given to Jesus, Paul has NO authority to change anything that GOD or Jesus said.

Jesus also said that to hear the apostles (i.e., Paul) is to hear him (Lk 10:16).

As I have read DA; and I believe I see that Ellen does describe Sunday in DA; about 5 times.

The Christian faith is based on Christ and Him only. As Paul said, I am determined to know nothing among you except Christ and Him crucified.
If any man be in Christ, He is a new creature, old things have passed away, all things have become new. If righteousness could be had by keeping the law, then Christ died in vain.
What does Christ say to those that would come after Him? Does He say make sure you keep the sabbath and revert to old Jewish dietary laws to show yourselves better than anyone else that follows me? No no a thousand times no.
His words are if any man come after me, let him deny his very self and begin to follow in my footsteps.
The apostolic teaching is that if we deny ourselves, we no longer need the law as our teacher. See Iraneus demonstration of the apostolic teaching.
Who needs to be taught not to commit adultery who has no desire for another man’s wife? If he does have that desire, then he is not a Christian and has not denied himself.
Who needs to be taught not to steal who has no desire for earthly goods?
Who needs to keep one day in seven who has Christ with him always ?

The Apostolic teaching is clear. Deny yourself and take up your cross. If you don’t, you have no part with Christ. If you do, you have no need of the law.
Those that claim you do are the same as the Judaizers who the Apostles rebuked in the book of acts.
Those that try to rule their flesh with the law instead of self denial as preached by Christ and His apostles do so in vain. This leads to legalism which inevitably turns to licentiousness, rather than faith. Whatever is not of faith is sin

When we follow the path of self denial laid out by Christ, we can see the evil of sin. When we ignore Him and choose the law instead, we nourish the flesh and do not follow Christ

Those are His words and Paul’s, not mine.

What is this? Are you of those that say I am of Paul, I am of Apollo or I am of Christ?
Is Christ divided ? God forbid

Since you claim to be of Paul, I will not judge you.
Paul spoke of Christ, Paul will be your judge
It is the same rebuke that Christ gave to the Pharisees when they invoked Moses over Him in John 5.
The one of whom the scriptures speak was standing there yet they did not believe, Moses will be their judge. The apostles of whom Paul spoke and Christ of whom the Apostles taught are here now in His Church, yet you do not believe. Paul will be your judge

I have no idea who David C Pack is or what he teaches

David Pack Leader of the Restored Church of God, a splinter sect of the Worldwide Church of God. The Worldwide Church of God is somewhat related to the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

The whole history is a bit convoluted, but as I best understand it: The "Church of God (Seventh Day)" was formed due to a split of Sabbatarian Adventists on the issue of Ellen G. White; the ones that agreed with her founded the Seventh Day Adventist Church, while others who rejected her claims founded the "Church of God (Seventh Day)" which is unfortunately a bit of an unwieldy title. Herbert Armstrong was a minister of the Church of God (Seventh Day). He got into some conflicts with leadership and founded his own group, the Worldwide Church of God. Eventually he died, as people generally do. New leadership changed the name to Grace Communion International along with some of the doctrines, which prompted a lot of his followers to split off and form a lot of smaller denominations (most with the word "Church of God" somewhere in their title) aiming to better continue his teachings. The Restored Church of God is one of those.

Due to their connection with Seventh Day Adventism, there is notable overlap in beliefs between it and the various Church of God groups, though they also diverge considerably in some areas. More information is fairly well detailed on the Wikipedia page about the groups. The important shared belief here, however, is Saturday Sabbathkeeping.

who made Paul an apostle?

Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Luke records the event in Acts chapter 9

And of course 2 Peter 3:15-16 shows that Peter also considered Paul's letters as scripture. Peter refers to Paul's letters as "all his letters" and notes that some of them are "hard to understand," which can be misinterpreted, just as other scripture can be. This indicates that Peter viewed Paul's writings as authoritative and on par with the Old Testament scriptures.

So, Jesus Christ appointed Paul to be His Apostle.

A lot of people claim to be SDA's or claim to be related to SDA's and turns out they aren't. Just because someone may have attended an SDA church at one time, doesn't make it a "split" if they decide to open up their own church, with their own beliefs. There was someone who hijacked the SDA logo on this forum, who said he doesn't belong to an SDA church. not a member no pastor but was writing books and using videos with the SDA logo to teach against what the SDA church believes. Luckily they were shut down by the church for illegally using copywritten material, but how much damage they caused by claiming his teachings comes from SDA, when it's not. Sadly, they still post as SDA using videos, books, when they do not believe any of our beliefs. What do Seventh-day Adventists Believe?

Haven't you said it's supposed to be teaching from scripture and nothing but scripture.

Eleen White was one of the founders of the SDA church back in 1863 and Desire of Ages is one of the books she wrote.

The SDA church believes everything is tested by the bible. Many people attack the SOP but God will be everyone Judge and most who attack read snippets of EGW or what they read on the Internet.
