The Eastern Orthodox Church has married priests.

So if the Catholic Church started making women priests,
they could get married.
That would require an end to celibacy requirements as well but hey, I’m sure the renowned flexibility of the church will prevail.

You identify as Catholic. What makes you think the church hierarchy has any inclination to female or married priests?

In Germany, those kinds of sentiments are common in some parts. German Catholics are relatively liberal as compared to the US, which has remarkably conservative Catholic clergy for a developed nation.

From what I've seen in news articles and the complaints on this site about the German synod activity, the German church seems more likely to schism than to get their way. (Being suppressed back into compliance seems most likely.)

Germany led the way in liberal theology in the nineteenth century and liberal theologians here still think that they dominate the center of world reflection on all matters Divine. Today German theology is a mixed bag. There are recent greats like Barth, Moltmann and Thielicke in the mix but so also complete blasphemers. The global historical church does not share the valuation of the glory days of liberal theology and does not listen to modern liberals either. Until German theologians return to the basic truths of Christianity and relearn obedience to basic church teachings this situation is likely to persist. So yes marginalization rather than "reform" is the more likely outcome for the German church here which is a big shame for those who are still true to the church's teachings.

Many countries have women ambassadors.

Could the Catholic Church make women cardinals?

Women cardinals may be able to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine.
Why should women fare any better? Putin cannot quit Ukraine because pride won't let him and Ukraine won't give up until they have nothing left to fight with. Negotiations require good faith. Putin is a liar, has no conscience and is willing to sacrifice hundreds of thousands of people to achieve his aims. Even if the war stopped, it would not be the end. Russia would simply rebuild its forces and try again later.

It doesn't make them any better than men. It may even be a hindrance. Muslims generally consider women inferior beings (as stated in the Qu'ran).

That’s not a reason to have zero women ambassadors.

The statement doesn't necessarily match the question (at least in my mind - the equivalent title to Ambassador (in terms of diplomatic rank and privilege) for representatives of the Holy See is an Apostolic or Papal Nuncio. They don't have to hold the position of Cardinal as well (I think only one of the dozen Nuncios to the UK has also been a Cardinal at the time, the rest have all been Prelates

What makes you think that Putin respects women? His past behavior demonstrates rather clearly he doesn't. I don't think this is a good idea because women are by nature too compassionate and being an ambassador often means you're confronted with very hard decisions where some people are sacrificed for the greater good. This is done all the time in war. You always have to look at the bigger picture. Yet in reading comments on world situations, I notice, time and time again, women usually take the short term, compassionate reaction. Immoral people use this to their advantage to distort the media/news. The conflict in Gaza is a perfect example of this where Hamas has blocked people from moving from the north to south after Israel warned them to move to avoid casualties. Yet you almost never hear of this in the news. Muslims know this will pull at the heartstrings of people all over the world (especially women) when children die (they don't realize that Gaza has one of the highest concentrations of children in the world). Also many of these people obviously were supporting those underground firing rockets so they felt allegiance to them and didn't move their children south to save them knowing full well that if you send a rocket from location A there will be return fire to location A. It's pretty basic. By staying they killed their own children. But in their twisted view their children are martyred. Though I sure don't know how 72 virgins reward children (or women!). Islam is so illogical. It was obviously conceived by a social outcast who hated Jews and so made up a religion to get what we wanted.

What this conflict really does is separate those who generally support Israel's right to exist and those that don't. Now here's the irony: Many liberals who are gay support "Palestine", the non-existent country, not realizing that being gay in a Muslim world can lead to decapitation. Also, they wouldn't be allowed to protest anything against Islam in most any Muslim country! It's so incredibly hypocritical. They truly are looking at the world with blinders on.

I would think it is if you're trying to negotiate with Muslim countries. They simply won't respect who they are negotiating with if they are women. Sometimes you just have to do what works. When billions or trillions of dollars are concerned, you make it work. Just like in business. You get the job done (morally) and leave your feelings disconnected from the situation. That is another area women have a huge problem with: Emotional reactions to situations that can be used by their enemies against them. We all have emotional reactions and natural levels of compassion but let's face it: Women have a lot more empathy generally than men. It's just like the law: Anything said (or demonstrated) can and will be used against you. Realize that many Muslim rulers have little respect for human life and think nothing of sacrificing their own to better themselves.

If they are so uncaring towards themselves, just think how they are to their enemies. It shows a deep seated disconnection with basic human life if that life is not aligned to Islam. It's the opposite of Christianity which realizes that where there is life there is hope because there's always a chance of conversion before death.

Could the Holy See send a woman ambassador to the US?
Why don't you figure that out for yourself. You should be capable. (Or just ask the google.)

Here's a better question: Why should the US accept an ambassador from a church?
