Prayer Partner

I am in need of prayer. I am not as good a person as I should be. I have good intentions but they get lost in the shuffle sometimes. I love God but I do not always pray as often as I should, (should be all the time!). Someone to pray for strength for me to help others in a meaningful way would be great.

Have you ever heard of a "popcorn" prayer? It just "pops up" at any given time or place. When you think of Jesus, and guilt overcomes you because you think you don't pray enough, send Him a popcorn prayer like this:
1. Father! Oh...you're right here! Thanks for being near me and reminding me!
2. Father...? Please send that person who is yelling at me Your peace. You know, the peace that surpasses all understanding? Thanks!
3. Thanks for keeping me safe today. etc.
Like that. Pray from your heart like a child. Start small and work your way up. And remember to give thanks in *all* things.

Hi, I'll pray for you, too, and with you. I encourage you to remember Romans 7: 15-25. The Apostle Paul wasn't perfect, and wasn;'t afraid to admit it, either. Take comfort in that. It's by the Grace of God that any of us is even here.
