How many Gentiles and Samaritans could have been saved if Jesus would have sent some disciples there?

These twelve Jesus sent out after instructing them: “Do not go in the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter any city of the Samaritans; but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
— Matthew 10:5-6

So here we have Jesus deliberately telling His disciples to not go to the Gentiles nor the Samaritans. How many Gentiles and Samaritans could have been saved if Jesus would have sent some disciples there?
There were only 120 of Jesus's disciples (probably all Jews) in the Upper room at Pentecost. Jesus left the business of evangelizing the whole world to His disciples per the Great Commission. He lived a sinless life, atoned for men, showed love, worked many miracles, fulfilled scripture, and trained His disciples. He left evangelizing the whole world to His disciples after the resurrection per the great commission. Even the Apostles did not receive the Holy Spirit until after the resurrection (John 20:22).

Why would Jews need the gospel more than Gentiles?
I wasn't thinking they needed it more than the Gentiles, rather the timing of when who heard what, may have mattered. When all is said and done, we of course don't know why the Lord felt the Jews needed to hear it first.

Well how about Jesus here walking the earth what 40 more days after He rose AMEN yet never preached once. What about all those just during that time? For me theres something here we can't see. Truth if we really believe that person we just walked past was lost without Jesus we would I PRAY ALL out there crying out to them day and night to hear the Gospel.

As for the lol lost Gentiles maybe what Christ said comes into play here "if you were blind you would have no sin. You say you see your sin remains. Other than that have not dug into looked into.... oh you are SO blessed Hammster.. so blessed.

He already knew the Kingdom of God would be taken away from Israel and given to the Gentiles so while He walked the earth He focused on the Foundation laid down by the Prophets and the Apostels with Jesus Christ of Nazareth as the Chief Cornerstone. They rejected Him so prophesy was fulfilled.
Matthew 21:43
Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it.

This is probably a dumb question, but why were they?
Because God has no intention of saving everyone. Jesus came for His sheep. His sheep were given to Him by His Father, and He’ll lose not a one. He also has sheep from a different fold. Those are the Gentiles. The rest of the Jews who were not His sheep were to be judged. That’s what Matthew 24 is about.

But I’ve been told in various threads that Jesus loves everyone the same, and it would make God unjust if He didn’t try to save everyone.
He had to come to His own first...to the Jew first and then to the goyim... Romans 1:16 and 2:10

No, I’m asking why, if Jesus loves everyone and wants everyone saved (as I’ve been told), did He forbid the disciples to go to the Gentiles and Samaritans.
He did BEFORE His resurrection. AFTER he sent them also to the goyim. Matthew 28:19-20

How does this address the OP?
It addresses the OP because Jesus was not striving to get many people (Jews or Gentiles) saved during His ministry. In other words the premise of your question does not make sense. Jesus's ministry dealt with healing (showing God's goodness) and introducing new NT concepts (largely through parables). He poured himself into a limited number of disciples BY DESIGN as they would start the Church. We see in John 6 that Jesus worked to drive away many would-be followers.

Preaching to get people saved on a large-scale started on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2 where Peter promised salvation (remission of sins & receipt of the Holy Spirit) to those who would repent and be baptized in response to His preaching. That day started as a believers meeting with just 120 (in the Upper room) and added 3000 new believers.

Wasn't his priority also God's chosen people first? Isn't that why Jesus says it is not good to give the children's bread to the dogs? It was just showing Jesus's priority in what order He wanted to reach people, because later we see Jesus sending the Apostles to the Gentiles when Jesus rises from the grave

All Jews. 3000 to replace those lost at Sinai in Exodus 32...

This is a question that begs more questions. What about all the gentiles who died while Jesus was working as a carpenter? What about all the gentiles who didn't live in Palestine? Like the ones throughout Africa, Asia and Europe? What about all the gentiles who died between the Mosaic Covenant and the arrival of Christ?

It was perfectly normal for him to pick a location for his disciples to go.
Was it perfectly normal to pick a group for exclusion?

Yes, I agree. This means that there were some who would be excluded.
