Thanks...oh Red Man - me favorite!

Yes, I got your PM at the Parlor...right?

I'm doing fine...although I have a bit of news.

Sit down... Laura's pregnant again. Guess we failed the NFP course we were taking, eh? No, its one of those things where if you're breast feeding it can throw the 'ole cycles off.

So, we're staffing up again. ;) All indications are pointing to a boy, which would be cool since my son is the odd man out.

We're just hoping for the best and know that God is in control. Anyway..had to get that out there so it doesn't sound like I'm hiding something.

Peace...

Yep #5!

Annelise will be '1' on 12/27 and the newest addition is scheduled for July 2002, so there should be a bit of a space between the two.

Well, we both come from families of 3 kids and Laura has always dreamed of having a large family. She really gets into kids and holidays and such, so I feel like her dreams are coming true.

I love being surrounded by the kids...and since I have no plans to by rich financially I plan to be rich in family. ;)

are SO much more fun! Especially Christmas. :)

I think your kids are about the same ages as mine, aren't they? I've got:

Girl-9
Boy-8
Girl-5
Boy-2 (almost anyway, his b-day is next Monday)
Boy-3 months

My first two are 18 months apart and the last two are 20 months apart. I like it when they are close like that because then they have more in common when it comes to playing. But then I wish that the girls had been close together and the same with the boys, instead of alternating. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif ALT=":\"> Oh, well. They manage. :)

God bless...

Oh I can't wait to have another child. You all make me so envious with your large families. I want at least three children, but I could go for more...heehee!! Unfortunately it will have to wait for a little while though. But that just means more enjoyment for me from Wyatt I guess. ;) Besides I believe my sis will be trying for another one soon, and if we can move back home (really praying hard) then I will get to be with them as well. ;) :)

Hugs,
Kelly

KC, I never intended for all this hoopla when I started this thread. All I ever wanted to say really was that while I am a Baptist and very happy in my life with God and all that, I do feel bad for you fine folks who get shafted by the BoJo's and Chicks of this world.

*edits out his Referee diatribe. It embarrassed him!*

By the way Detroit lost again, lol. 0-12. Kinda like how Bob Jones did in dating during High School.

PrinceJeff you're fine. Someone decided to hijack the thread and take it down an ugly path. We need more PrinceJeff's around here!

Ouch, yes and the Chiefs lost by 2 to the $@#!*& Raiders. We blew so many opportunities...

Jeff,
I don't even know you, but I like you already! I am a Catholic. I respect and love ALL people. I am sure there are Catholics that 'bash' Protestant People as well. I will always remember when my neighbor, who is Baptist, told me I belonged to a Cult, because I was Catholic. She said that I needed to be saved.... Why do some Baptists think this?

I don't know to be honest. I do not agree with alot of Catholic teachings such as Marian Doctrines, Purgatory, and so on. But that doesn't mean Catholics are not Christians either. There are saved and unsaved alike in every facet of Christendom. There are Catholics that bash Protestants, but I only know one of them, and well he was banned from this forum.

I do not think Catholicism is a cult by any means, because if it was, my aunt and uncle would have tried to convert me, lol. And you don't have to be Baptist to bash Catholics either. People do have preconceived notions that all Baptists are "fundamentalists" who insist that every word of scripture be taken literally. There are those that also think every Baptist is a "[bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] hater", a bigot, racist, anti-semitic, and so on.

I will tell ya now, I am Sola Scriptura, but I know there are instances of symbolism in the Bible. I am also not one of the "KJV-Only" crowd. You would do well to watch out for folks like Lorraine Boettner, Jack Chick, Bob Jones, and Fred Phelps. I have also figured out that most Catholics do not like Dave Hunt, either, saying that he is a hatemongerer. I own one of his tapes and maybe it was just me, but he did not seem hateful by any means. I do believe in a rapture, OSAS, and Baptism by immersion. But I choose not to brow-beat anyone else over it. :)

Fortunately, I haven't read much by Dave Hunt that seems so evil, and I rather enjoyed his Archon book and its sequel. But Jack Chick! Holy Moly. I used to believe that stuff when I was a pre- and young teen, but then I grew up and realized it for the hooey it was. And I'm still nominally Baptist, as well. So don't give up on all of us!
