And 248 that were Laws to keep Israel clean and all the Laws were a BACK-BRAKER to keep !
The laws are given for our benefit, no one gets away with anything. It is more of a "back braker" NOT to keep the law. The law is our teacher to show us how to live right and holy before God. It is important to keep the commandment and much more important to teach others do do the same.

19 So then, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do likewise will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever practices and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5

So , you are saying the MOSAIC LAW is still in operation ??

And I see in Matt 5:13 Israel was to be the SALT of the earth and it means that b Israel LOST its SAVOUR and Israel was set aside as Luke wrote Acts 28:25-28 !!

Just an FYI...

"Jesus and the woman taken in adultery (or the Pericope Adulterae) is a most likely pseudepigraphical passage (pericope) found in John 7:53–8:11 of the New Testament."

"Pseudepigrapha (also anglicized as "pseudepigraph" or "pseudepigraphs") are falsely attributed works, texts whose claimed author is not the true author, or a work whose real author attributed it to a figure of the past."

Have a good day everyone.

So , you are saying the MOSAIC LAW is still in operation ??
Jesus said it is "still in operation". Matthew 5 "Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."

Of course there is no temple but that never pleased God in the first place. Isaiah 1:11 echoes this sentiment: “The Lord says, ‘I do not want all these sacrifices you give me. I have had enough of your sacrifices of male sheep and fat from fine animals. I am not pleased by the blood of bulls, sheep, and goats.’”

Galatians 3:24-26
declares:
  • “Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.”
Maybe that is what you mean. We are made just by faith, not by the works of the law. We can be good under the law and we are the ones that benefit for living right. God loves us and he wants the best for us. There is a lot of self destructive things we should not do.

The law does exactly what God intended it to do. God is a God of absolute perfect Justice. His scales are perfectly balanced. All of the universe is very exact and precise. The butterfly effect demonstrates this.

The term “butterfly effect” was coined by meteorologist Edward Norton Lorenz in the 1960s. Lorenz was studying weather patterns and discovered that even rounding off a variable by a minuscule amount could dramatically alter long-term weather predictions. His point was that nature’s complexity defies precise prediction. We cannot track every minute variable or foresee how small changes cascade into larger consequences. Thus, the butterfly’s flap could either cause or prevent a tornado, but we’ll never know for sure2.

What's your point?
My point is that a day in genesis is 24 hours, 1,000 years and 8 billion years ALL AT THE SAME TIME depending on your perspective.

The story of the elephant says it best. One is holding the trunk, one is holding the tail and one is holding the. They all compare notes and describe something similar but different. Still they are all talking about the same elephant.

The Bible works off of shadows and types. Children learn the literal Bible in Sunday school. But then when they graduate from Sunday School they enter into the sanctuary and learn the symbolic Bible. 1 Corinthians 15:45 says: So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit." What does that mean? This is going to be difficult for a sunday school student to understand how you have a first and a last like that.

  • Adam represents humanity’s natural state, created from the dust of the earth.
  • Christ, the last Adam, represents a new spiritual reality and redemption.
You see there is a physical literal reality then there is a spiritual reality.
Everything in the universe has to balance itself so one is as true as the other.
Moses himself in Psalms tells us a day is 1,000 years. We call this dispensationalism.
Some people refer to that as the day age theory were a day represents an age or an era,
No reason to go on from here if you do not understand this much.
Or you do not want to understand. That is your choice, that is up to you.

There are many many names for this dispensation. I will give you a few.
Church age, Age of Grace, Holy Spirit Dispensation. Time of the Gentiles.

Next will be the 1,000 year reign of Christ.

Would you be more happy with the word ages? The church age or the age of grace rather than to use the word dispensation?

While the primary meaning of the Greek word οἰκονομία (oikonomia) is indeed "administration" or "stewardship," it can also carry the connotation of a specific period of time or arrangement, particularly in the context of biblical interpretation.

In theological discussions, particularly within the framework of dispensationalism, the term "dispensation" often refers to a specific period of time during which God administers His plan of salvation in a particular way. This secondary meaning of "dispensation" as a period or arrangement is derived from the broader understanding of οἰκονομία as "administration" or "management" in the New Testament.

So while the primary sense of "dispensation" in biblical contexts is related to the administration or stewardship of God's plan, the concept of a specific period of time or arrangement is also derived from the same underlying Greek word.

Ephesians 3 2 "If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward"

Ephesians 3:21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end.

The Greek word DISPENSATION // OIKONOMIA means OIKO means House and NOMIA means Law !!

So what are the House Laws of the dispensation of Grace ,

# 1 OSAS , Gal 3:28

#2 Placed into the Body of Christ 1 Cor 12:13

# 3 We will Govern the UNIVERSE 1 Cor 6:2

# 4 We will Govern Angels 1 Cor 6:3

There are many more benefits to being saved by Grace
