36 “Teacher, what is the most important commandment in the Law?”

37 Jesus answered:

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. 38 This is the first and most important commandment. 39 The second most important commandment is like this one. And it is, “Love others as much as you love yourself.” 40 All the Law of Moses and the Books of the Prophets[a] are based on these two commandments.

That is a very true statement. What has the LORD being showing you about it?

The thing is, though, sometimes people think love is it. They have this idea that some rather misty concept of love means the Law and the Prophets no longer count and have been replaced by "love." But that's not what the verse says. It says all the Law and Prophets hang on love, not that the Law and Prophets are now defunct. In fact our Savior told us He did NOT come to do away with those, and that they would not pass away until Heaven and earth pass away. If we love the Father we don't bow down to other gods. If we love others we don't steal from them or murder them, or commit adultery. And so on.

So, yes, we are to love. But we show our love through obedience to the Word.

FutureAndAHope, i felt in heart that we should love God genuinely. We pray we meditate Bible we give tithes and grow according to Bible and not according to world i feel we try to built our Kingdom
secondly we should individually uplift and encourage and help someone if he/she comes our way it is the will of God. we prefer to say God will help.
