There is no fact that Genesis 1 is correct regarding cosmology - therefore, it cannot be denied.

Regarding "why" Genesis 1 is not literal - there are 64 pages of "why's" in this thread alone. You can read them again, if you wish, it did not go anywhere. The fact that you have new morning today does not mean we start from the beginning, the conversation history is here and saved.

2 You realise the Antarctic treaty only banned the use of military bases and manoeuvres? There is nothing to stop tourists/visitors from going there and exploring it.

You could say "some people claim that Genesis 1 is not literal".

The "iced walls" are not too high if it was possible to fly over them easily with the most primitive first planes.
