Russia is ready to “swallow” Europe whole?

Russia will not start WW3 simply because the leader and his gang of thugs are cowards and in it for money and control. Those guys stand for nothing, they back down immediately when they face greater power and they have a chance to lose the money and control. They are the first to save their own skin, first to jump a that plane away from Moscow as they did when the Prikochew etc dude was rebelling.
Besides that Russia has always respected power and they get provoked by western current behavior where we kind of judge and boycott but kind of not. Whine like men who have lost all testosterone. If NATO had sent troops to Ukraine, drawn the line to their borders, took control of the situation and stated that Russia will not cross that border and neither will Nato - it would have been all over. Now they have chosen the path of most casualties, slowly feeding war marchine with more bodies while keeping Ukraine from not winning nor losing, keeping Russia provoked and motivated to try more with each fearful comments from western leaders.
I have almost a lifetime experience with Russia and you make friends with them by standing your ground, being strong, respecting and setting boundaries your are willing to fight for. On the other hand they despise you when they smell fear and you are not ready to fight for your ground.
Look at Turkey: they shot down Russian MiG the moment it entered their airspace. What followed was close talks and they are now best friends with Russia. If only our leaders would understand that. There would be 500000 more people alive today.

As a born again Christian believer I understand also that the conflict and its parties are led by secular parties and the whole mess is a disaster for every side and something that should not ever exist. Therefore commenting on it is kind of waste of time but interesting debate anyway.

Russia announced their true intentions shortly before their start of the war.
The Ukraine war started on 24-Feb-2022. On 17-Dec-2021 Russia made these demands:
1. NATO out of Eastern Europe.
2. America reduced to a regional role only.
Or else there will be a military-technical alternative. We got the military-technical alternative in Ukraine. Ukraine is merely the start.

Currently, it looks like an excuse may come via Iran and Israel. That situation could blow up big. We already know from past comments that the next big war there will terminate countries. It will probably involve chemical weapons and likely nuclear weapons from Israel.

I don't think he's confused. Post #47 clearly states "the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ" of which he's a part of. I am also of that kingdom, and it is an eternal kingdom. Meanwhile my dual citizenship is in U.S. but that along with all other nations will pass away.
No confusion, because for those saved and elect of the Lord Jesus he said "the kingdom of God is within you" and Daniel writes, "And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever"

Ukrainian propaganda? If Russia struggles to make small advancements in Ukraine, how shall it "swallow Europe whole?" Russia could nuke Europe and do it in that way, but then it wouldn't be fit to "swallow" at all!
Europe is already rearming after decades of neglect partly because of Russia's aggression but partly also as a result of the threat of a Trump Whitehouse abandoning NATO.
Russian conventional warfare seems quite clumsy and ineffective given the vast amounts of men and material available to them. Their tactic is to grind their enemies down. That would not work in a shooting war with NATO.
Ukraine needs to keep fear levels high to keep the support coming and they are in a tough fight that requires our support. But Russia could not swallow Europe based on its current performance.

There is the old rumor that Russia wanted Alaska back, and even not so old.

To correct your understanding of the start of WW2, the United Kingdom declared war on Germany on 3rd September 1939, which was two days after Germany invaded Poland. On the same day, France also declared war on Germany. As for the Soviet Union, they invaded Poland from the east on 17th September 1939, which was 16 days after Nazi Germany’s invasion from the west.
During the late 1700’s, Poland faced a series of partitions orchestrated by Russia, Prussia, and Austria. These partitions progressively reduced Poland’s size until, after the final partition, the state of Poland ceased to exist. Russia played a significant role in this process, annexing substantial portions of Polish territory. The partitions lasted until Poland’s restoration as an independent nation in 1918.
Without excusing Soviet Russia’s decision to annex Poland at the start of WW2, as Russia had only lost Poland 20 years earlier, having owned much of modern day Poland from 1793 – 1918, this made the decision to keep parts of Poland out of German hands and easy decision to make.
