Most Catholics never heard of him, so he's hardly a prominent Catholic and certainly not a voice for the Catholic Church.

I met a woman who met him. Kathleen Norris. I met her at my university around 9 years ago. She's a Benedictine oblate and poet, and published a poem about "same-sex love." ***SMH***

Apparently. She isn’t Catholic. She was raised Methodist, attended a Presbyterian Church, and was confirmed Episcopalian.

I agree that most Catholics, or at least the ones I know, wouldn’t know who he is. I only know about him from stuff I’ve read online.
