RFK Jr. campaign disowns its fundraising email calling Jan. 6 rioters 'activists'

His campaign blamed the email, which said the "activists" had been "stripped of their Constitutional liberties," on an "error" inserted by a "marketing contractor."

"This is the reality that every American Citizen faces — from Ed Snowden, to Julian Assange to the J6 activists sitting in a Washington DC jail cell stripped of their Constitutional liberties. Please help our campaign call out the illiberal actions of our very own government," the fundraising email read.

“That statement was an error that does not reflect Mr. Kennedy’s views. It was inserted by a new marketing contractor and slipped through the normal approval process,” [spox] said.

In an interview last month with Fox News’ Neil Cavuto, Kennedy said that if elected president he would use his pardon power "very quickly" to pardon Assange and Snowden, but said he would “look at individual cases" when asked about Jan. 6 defendants.

Trump embraces woman convicted of Jan. 6 misdemeanors, helps raise money for legal costs

Former president Donald Trump said Friday that a Colorado woman convicted of four federal misdemeanor charges related to the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol is a “patriot” and shared a link on social media where people can donate money to help defray her legal expenses.

The woman, Rebecca Lavrenz, was convicted this week in Washington of disorderly and disruptive conduct and three other charges. In his posting to nearly 7 million followers on Truth Social, Trump referred to her as “one of Joe Biden’s J6 HOSTAGES!!”

Larenz, 71, has become known on social media as the “J6 Praying Grandma,” a reference to her contention that she drove across the country to pray for the nation in Washington on the day of the “Stop the Steal” rally, the Gazette reported.

Hostage, what nonsense. I just reviewed the docket for her case. She was released on personal recognizance from the beginning and only had to surrender her passport. She and her lawyer (John Pierce, the biggest J6 grifter attorney) moved for trial before a magistrate (rather than a presidentially appointed judge). The jury trial ended last week with a conviction.

Trump told these people to do the January thing. Why isn't he being charged?

He was. The trial is currently stayed while the Supreme Court decides if a President can do all the crime they want.

Some Jan. 6 rioters win early release, even before key Supreme Court ruling

The Supreme Court’s pending review of a key federal charge levied against Jan. 6 defendants — and Donald Trump — is already triggering early releases of some high-profile defendants

A Delaware man who carried a Confederate flag into the Capitol will be let go one year into his three-year term. An Ohio man who overran police lines and became one of the first rioters to enter the Capitol will be set free six months into a 19-month term. And a man who entered the just-evacuated Senate chamber with a Trump flag as a cape was released after serving five months of a 14-month term.

If the Supreme Court ultimately determines the charge they faced was legitimate, they and others who are released early pending appeal could be ordered to return to prison — but that is not a certainty.

Neo-Nazi Jan. 6 rioter pleads guilty, admits to stealing police helmet as a 'war trophy'

Richard Zachary Ackerman pleaded guilty to two charges: obstructing law enforcement officers during civil disorder and theft of government property.

The FBI said it had received a tip that included a photo of a U.S. Capitol Police helmet that included a "New England 131" sticker on it on Jan. 8, 2021, two days after the attack.

An FBI task force officer said "New England131" referred to the "Nationalist Socialist Club 131" and the "White Defense Force" and described NSC-131 as "a neo-Nazi group with small, autonomous regional chapters in the United States and abroad, whose members see themselves as soldiers at war with a hostile, Jewish-controlled system that is deliberately plotting the extinction of the white race."

Basically, Trump give his people orders. They try to do what Trump told them to do. They get punished, Trump hasn't been punished. And he may become president again. And people, that are supposed to be Christians defend and lie about what happened.

Active-duty sailor convicted in Capitol riot says probation would be 'fatal' to his Navy career

Leading Petty Officer David Elizalde, 46, was stationed on the USS Harry S. Truman on Jan. 6, 2021, when he unlawfully entered the U.S. Capitol.

In a sentencing memo filed Wednesday, Brennwald said a representative of the Navy had informed him Elizalde’s 17-year career in the service would likely be over if he were sentenced to probation because of the necessity for him to deploy around the world.

Brennwald instead requested U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols sentence Elizalde to a term of home confinement between 30 and 60 days. Brennwald said that was under the range that would result in Elizalde’s discharge from the Navy.

That show Baretta was great, wasn't it? And that theme song? Very cool.

No article for this one, but I have court documents and a real low life.

Yesterday they arrested Tyler Dykes of S.C. in Virginia for his role at the Capitol as he was about to be released from a Virginia prison for parading at the "Unite the Right" extremist rally in Charlottesville in 2017.

Tyler Bradley Dykes, who served a prison sentence in connection with the 2017 "Unite the Right" rally in Virginia, pleaded guilty to two felony counts tied to the attack on the Capitol.

Jan. 6 rioter with 'I heart TRUMP' hat and a Confederate flag gets 30 months in prison for assaults on officers

Isreal Easterday took "a symbol of treason, defiance of the law, and insurrection" to the Capitol before he temporarily blinded two officers with chemical spray, prosecutors said.

Easterday's defense lawyers said he came to Washington after his uncle "invited him to tag along with a group of fellow Trump supporters." They said that Easterday was home-schooled and that "everything he knew was filtered through the lens of his parents" when he went to the Capitol.

[Easterday] acquired a can of pepper spray and used it to assault U.S. Capitol Police ('USCP') Officer Joshua Pollitt, who was guarding the East Rotunda Doors, by spraying the chemical irritant directly into Officer Pollitt’s face from just an arm’s length away. Officer Pollitt collapsed moments after Easterday sprayed him, and experienced excruciating pain and partial blindness for hours," prosecutors wrote. [Then did it again to another officer.]

Judge issues bench warrant for 'Victor Sean of Dennison' after apparent sovereign citizen fails to show for trial

Victor Sean Dennison, of California, was charged in January with four misdemeanor counts for allegedly entering the U.S. Capitol after noticing doors that had been breached. Dennison, who was wearing an “All Aboard the Trump Train” hat, reportedly told investigators he’d seen a man holding a hammer near a smashed window before he entered.
It took months, but the long arm of the law has found him.

FBI arrests Jan. 6 fugitive in Clearwater

Victor Sean Dennison, 49, failed to show up to his trial in June 2023, records show.

The irony of Dennison’s case, Rickman said, is that if Dennison had showed up for his trial court date last year, he likely would have received probation or a relatively short prison sentence, but now he faces more serious charges.

All of the "fake electors" have been indicted by the state of Arizona plus nine "redacted" persons who names have not been revealed. The fake electors include Kelli Ward (former chair of the AZ GOP and member of the AZ state senate) and Anthony Kern a current AZ state senator who was seen on the steps of the Capitol in a suit on Jan 6th.

From the indictment:

"Defendants' attempts to declare Unindicted Coconspirator 1 and Pence the winners of the 2020 Presidential Election contrary to voter intent and the law, involved numerous other charged and uncharged coconspirators.
