I've never had significant back pain, but today I do. It's probably more in my neck, but it is radiating into my upper back, and it is debilitating. It woke me up at about 5:30 this morning when it kept spasming off and on. I took some Advil and that took the edge off. But it is still bad. I don't know how I'm going to be able to work today. Can't look up, can't look down. If I move wrong it takes my breath away. This morning as soon as I sat up I sniffed and wrinkled my nose, and even that hurt. I couldn't believe it.
Then there is rehearsal tonight. It is hard to hold things in my hands, so I hope it is not too hard for me to hold a clarinet! Seriously, I had a hard time packing Jim's lunch this morning because I had to carry the container of turkey from the fridge to the counter! I feel like John McCain, unable to use my arms.
Kerstie reminded me on the way to school that God is always there to help me and love me, no matter what
