What's the difference between Pentecostal and Charismatic?
I was talking with great friend of mine and we were both wondering what the answer to this question was. We came to the conclusion that my church was "charismatic" because it is an Anglican church that believe's that all the various spiritual gifts listed in the New Testament are active in the Church today and desirable in the life of a Christian. Whereas the church he goes to is pentecostal because it did not come from a traditional protestant denomination. It beleived in the gifts since it started.
what do you guys think? Is there a better explanation?
