What is wrong with strawberry juice?

I want to buy a power juicer to make strawberry juice for various uses.

But it seems like I have seen people saying that strawberry juice is so rich and concentrated that it is bad for you.

Any thoughts?

It can overpower other flavors...
I have never heard about it being bad for you.
If one has a weak stomach, it may cause an upset stomach...such like other fruit juices can..

I just ran a search online and it seems a lot of commercial strawberry juices have apple or pear juice in them. One website said to add water.

You are offending me. Who said there was anything wrong with berries? the strawberries are my favorite...It is bad for you? I am shocked. I've been having it for like forever. How will I ever live after this? (I am pulling ur leg if u don't now).

Most juices are a combination of a few fruit. Some fruits are just naturally very thick so I guess it's so that it reaches the right consistency.

I want to buy a juicer eventually as well. It's so much better than drinking all the stuff that is in the store with chemicals and added sugar. :-(

Cooking with fruit is great as well, especially in the slow cooker. I add fruit to alot of my meals because it adds a natural sweetness and flavor you can't beat!

Good luck with the juicer and I would recommend going to a used book store and finding books that are geared towards that.

I don't see why strawberries can't be juiced up. They're wonderfully rich in vitamin C and antioxidants. Plenty of recipes on the internet for juicing them, and Amazon.com is a good place to look for a power juicer. Look at customer reviews. They're a good guide before buying.

Strawberries are great for health and curious how strawberry juice would be bad for someone. Strawberries are great for eyes and digestive system. They are rich in fiber and vitamin C and keep our digestive system regular.

The earlier posters who said there is no danger from the juice, just that it is rather strong nailed it.

Drinking pure strawberry juice would be a bit like drinking orange juice concentrate. No health danger, but rather strong for most tastes.

Apple or white grape is the classic mixing juice.
