I would like to hike the Appalachian trail (even though I'm terribly out of shape) and I would like to visit all the National Parks amongst other things.

Don't let being "out of shape" block you from the a-trail.

cool idea! Though remember this isn't a DO-before I die list, it's a try before I die list. It seems people are forgetting that....

Anyway! bucket list

stand on a rock above 18,000ft
get married
jump out of an airplane to land somewhere other than a skydiving facility
see Vasily Zaytsev's rifle
run a marathon on the beaches from Utah beach to Sword beach
volunteer for the IDF?
sleep under the Aurora Borealis/Australis

Do you have a list of things to do or try before your time on earth expires? If so, what are some of the things on that list?
I don't have a Bucket List.

I will have to say though...I would love to do base jumping just once.

The only thing I really want to do is obtain a '69 Stingray in good working condition, and drive all of Route 66, preferably with a husband. Not by myself. Another goal is to conceive a baby in the backseat of a Stingray with said husband. Is that weird? It probably is, like, TMI. My bad.

lol, not weird. A little inappropriate for a christian forum.

I guess as long as the whole 'no sex before marriage' thing is implied, then there's nothing wrong with it. ^_^

Either way, she'll have a hard time finding a Corvette with a back seat.

Thanks for sharing everyone :) Some really good things people have on their bucket lists. I guess it can be a try and do list :p Since some of the ones I found posted online included stuff that was more doing then trying :)

Question - What is the Appalachian trail?

Learn another language. I took Intro Mandarin, maybe build upon that because I wasn't spectacular at it. I'm a FSL student, but I'm thinking it'd be awesome to learn German just because it's not the most attractive sounding language I could be learning.

I'd like to get my grubby little hands on an Ostrich skin Chanel 2.55 handbag. I'd also like an exotic skin Kelly, but I'd be completely happy with a more readily available basic leather one. Just as long as it's a Kelly.

See King Tut up close. In Egypt.

Win a ballroom dancing title.

Get a pixie cut. I love the look of a very short (but still feminine) buzzed cut, but... baby steps I guess. If I can cut my hair short, I'd at least feel like I wasn't relying on it as a 'security blanket' type thing.
