Trump 1: Pandemic.
Trump 2:
Crashdemic.
His leadership (?) threatens "your money or your life."
I guess Trump three-time voters like the thrill of living dangerously.
I don't think they saw this disaster coming.

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

"We don’t have a Free and Fair “Press” in this Country anymore. We have a Press that writes BAD STORIES, and CHEATS, BIG, ON POLLS. IT IS COMPROMISED AND CORRUPT. SAD!"

Maybe Trump is preparing the soil for his own press media like he created his own "twitter"? Is Fox News also among the "compromised and corrupt"?

Trumps approval rating after 100 days is the lowest in the past 80 years. What's interesting about that us that its not because of how he's handling immigration, which is the thing that most complained about on this forum.

Tariffs and the way he is cutting government are the most negative things. People are concerned over what tariffs are going to do to the economy and they don't like the carelessness in how they are cutting government.

These are the two things I was concerned about. I'm all for cutting government. But I've said in many posts its not being done efficiently. Carefully would be another word I'd use. And I was concerned how tariffs would effect the economy which is the #1 thing that Americans care about.

But I was and still am of the wait and see mindset. The sky is not falling. However the constant drumbeat of the Chicken Little press has made people so scared.

I love a lot of what he's doing and in the end I think its going to be good.

The drumbeat is from foremost economists and the annals of history--as accurately reported by the press.
But Americans are also unhappy with immigration. A 4 year-old citizen with an aggressive cancer was deported to a country with no medical resources to treat her.
Americans believe in due process.

It seems that many Americans believe in due process for the sympathetic people only, actually.
There is also the fiasco of the El Salvador plane trip, in defiance of federal court orders.
Trump can't deport the wheat and the chaff to a Salvadoran Gulag and rely on their default lies--"they're all chaff -" expecting to be believed.
Up to 90% are not gangsters and criminals--they're just young and dark-skinned.

Most Americans are still happy with the immigration thing. And now of course once again the main stream media is misrepresenting what due process means in immigration law.

And of course the wildly almost lying about the 4 year old. If the parent takes the 4 year old with them, the law does not force her to leave the child behind.

If you ask me, if I was a parent I would be begging the US to keep the child and give the child treatments. The US cannot forcibly deport a citizen. The government would have had to keep the citizen here.

Trump's first 100 days marked by incompetent screw-ups and frantic walk backs

Trump is the wrong solution to the right questions. He will be the ruin for many in the US, but ultimately I suspect alot of good is going to come out of this moment.

They really aren't:

I read some recent article title in local media, it was something like "Rodeo continues. Americans wanted revolution, not chaos." I guess it describes it well.

When a revolution isn't chaotic, a country can consider itself fortunate.

Liberal elites in the US really haven't been chastened. The problems in America are deeper than Trump. Trump is just a symptom. It's also deeper than just politics, it goes down to culture. And lasting political change is always downstream from culture.

In just 100 days Trump has managed to get aggressive, and threatened to take soverenty from its BEST and CLOSEST ally.
A close and trusted relationship for decades ruined, just because a fool has been voted into office in USA.

USA is like Dr Jeckle and Mr Hide.

In one term you have a USA which values its allies, wants to do trade with them and have mutual prosperity,
And then in another USA you have a USA which wants to taunt and bully it's traditional alies, and chummies up to its traditional enemies, destroys global trade, threatens and exorts.

It is hard to be friends with Dr Jeckle and Mr Hide. The Western World needs to unite and move on without USA.

It's funny how "Rescinded Biden EOs" is an accomplishment. Like, the goal is out of spite to undo the other guys stuff.
It doesn't seem like an accomplishment to me. An accomplishment would be like, reducing taxes, removing tarrifs, brokering a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia, Putting through a bipartisan Infrastructure Bill.
It would be about doing something specific, rather than undoing whatever (unnamed)stuff that the other guy did.

But...he's doing so many deals with so many countries. Trump Makes Bonkers Claim About All His Trade Deals

'Donald Trump has made the outrageous claim that he’s struck a whopping 200 trade deals with foreign leaders during his 90-day pause on his “reciprocal tariff” policy. But when pressed, the president refused to say with which countries any of the deals have been made.'

He'd certainly have a problem naming the 200 countries that he's done a ceal with as there aren't that many on the planet. And...

'But I am this giant store. It’s a giant, beautiful store, and everybody wants to go shopping there. And on behalf of the American people, I own the store, and I set prices, and I’ll say, if you want to shop here, this is what you have to pay.”

Well, he's at least got that right. If you want to buy anything now in the US Department Store then you'll have to pay more. Well done, Donald.
