This is the only realistic plan forward. You can't rebuild Gaza as it is. Hamas has dug a vast network of tunnels under the entire terrorist enclave. Much of the ground is not stable to build new buildings, if the current ones are even structurally sounds due to the tunnels and war destruction. People can't live there while it gets rebuilt. The entire place needs to be leveled and the ground stabilized before anything new can be built. That's Hama's fault, they dug the tunnels and brought this nightmare here - all with support of the people there.

Letting them rebuild themselves will only result in the same terrorist enclave. They had a chance to build it as a Palestinian state and they chose to build a land of a terror oriented death cult. They have had since 1948 to get it together and at every chance and every time for choice they have chosen to call for death and destruction of the Jews. Time's up.
Hamas didn't drop the bombs. Stop blaming the victims.

Words fail me. Anyone who now supports Trump needs to do some serious introspection. The President of the United States - let that sink in - is suggesting the forced expulsion of millions of people from another country. And then talks about redeveloping as if it was yet another real estate deal.

What a dumpster fire.

The issue with President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu is that their manner of speaking can sometimes come across as arrogant. However, the ideas they present may not necessarily be arrogant in themselves. It is often their personalities that create a barrier to effectively communicating their vision.

Relocating 2.5 million Palestinians to another country is unrealistic, and achieving peaceful coexistence between Palestinians in Gaza and Israel also impractical.

The world has attempted to implement a two-state solution for 70 years without success. Those who advocate for the two-state solution often envision an idealistic scenario that may be unattainable. However, the two-state solution is considered more humane and civilized. Despite its lack of success over the past seven decades, the majority still support it because they desire to maintain a sense of civility, at least in theory.

In the meantime, Palestinians in Gaza are living under difficult conditions, lacking hope for the future, with generation after generation growing up without prospects. On the other hand, Israelis face constant threats. The current situation is challenging for both sides.

President trump may lack diplomatic tone, but the idea of relocating Gaza resident to different country might be best solution and rebuild Gaza with more friendly citizen . I don’t support Gaza Strip became “American colony” , but a place where people have hope and Israelis don’t feel threaten.

It may be beneficial for not only Arab nations but also all countries, including the USA, to consider resettling 10,000 to 20,000 Palestinians. This could help ensure a secure future for Palestinians. The majority of Palestinians will choose this option. Those who prefer to remain in Palestine are often those engaged in conflict with Israel, such as members of Hamas.

Rebuild Gaza and then invite Arab Christians to come to Gaza. Many Arab Christians face constant threats throughout the Middle East. The Gaza Strip could potentially serve as a safe haven for Arab Christians, accommodating at least a few million of them.

I know these are impractical, but so is two state solution.

TBT, they have already been driven out of their bombed out cities to Raffa, in a horrible act of cruelty and genocide, but we are about to see another leg of the journey.
Hopefully to Egyptian refugee camps.

Reeducation and being the new governing body was my thoughts for the Arabs beyond resettlement.

Reeducation in some way to get them away from extremism. After there needs to be an Arab government that isn't extreme

Your not going to find places for all the Palestinians. It's too many people too fast for countries to take in and be able to give them all jobs, housing etc.

If you start relocating now (start with elderly, families etc) for actual citizenship resetting then you can decrease the population of Gaza enough to make the rebuilding efforts worth it.

Then you have an Arab coalition government that's not extreme, and not from that area at all governing the rebuilt Gaza. (Someone like the UAE)
Understand. The Arab countries have a TON of land. However, if any Arab government is involved, extremism may return...IMO

Hamas was 'taught' to be extremist by decades of Israeli discrimination and persecution.
You teach them to be otherwise by granting them the dignity and respect of God's children.
Hamas was taught to be extremist by their religion. Hamas are not God's children and being nice to terrorists will not make them less evil.

Remind me how many Syrian refugees found asylum in other countries? I believe it is something like 5.5 million. Just saying.

Did you read my entire post or just chose to attack one sentence?
I am not attacking your post. Only pointing out that relocating 2 million people is not an impossible task. The only reason why they haven't left already because nobody wants them.

With some work we can get somewhere at least more positive, even with Arabs in charge.

The problem has always been the land itself and apocalyptic dreams. We need to kill the apocalyptic dreams with dreams of a real life.

Yeah, we don't need to go through that again. Blame the Jews, etc. etc.

Oh no, I know it would take a long time, probably decades. Obviously some areas are worse than others.

I think it will take at least 3 generations of deradicalization efforts until Palestinians can be trusted to govern themselves again.

Oh, deradicalization? I was just talking about actual rebuilding. Yeah, to de-radicalize, that will take generations, two or three at a bare minimum.

Netanyahu gushed his praise for the president, thanking Trump profusely for the leadership that he is showing on so many fronts.

“You are the greatest friend Israel has ever had in the White House,” Netanyahu said.

On the shocking announcement of the U.S. taking effective ownership of Gaza, Netanyahu said, “President Trump is taking it to a much higher level. He sees a different future for that piece of land that has been the focus of such much terrorism, so many attacks against us. […] He has a different idea” than most conventional-minded world leaders.

In the meantime:

And an American or international presence on what Arabs consider "their" soil will attract extremists from the entire Middle East.

Basically, the Marshall Plan needs to happen in Gaza. Otherwise we would be giving a newly rebuilt region to radical Islamist terrorists.

Well, yeah. Trump is offering to take the entire problem totally out of his hands, no fees charged.

I agree with you. Relocating 2 million Palestinians from Gaza is not an impossible task; the challenge lies in diplomacy. Even though President Trump suggested this idea, even Americans wouldn't want 10,000 Palestinians to relocate to the USA.

The idea of relocating Palestinians from Gaza, proposed by President Trump, presents significant challenges. However, those who support a two-state solution and consider President Trump's idea unfavorable or impractical have not provided an alternative solution.
