Who is y'all that you're including me in?
And who is the devil in this case?
God used Pharaoh, he used Cyrus and he uses the devil

That's so strange. You use scripture to affirm your position, but the scriptures could be interpreted in such a way as to support mine! It's best to deny one's own interests and seek the good, like Jesus and Paul said. Then, everything becomes obvious. Or, if you have the patience and intelligence, consider John Rawls' original position under the veil of ignorance. But whatever you do, don't act like you have God on your side until you are absolutely certain that you don't know one way or the other. Only humility and self-denial can win this game. Thinking your politics puts you in God's good graces is a losing strategy, for sure.

Dems showed to all America what they are all about. Sad. It showed Americans they made the right decision for voting for Trump/Vance! BTW, Congress approval....DEMS 21% all time LOW...REBUBLICANS 40% all time HIGH (Quinnipiac poll Feb 25)!

I would normally be embarrassed to be proud of a 40% approval rate but if you work the math, it means the good guys are 90.4% better than the opposition.

Not wanting men in women's sports is about politics?
I didn't use scripture to back up my position I just showed that it can contradict yours.
You still haven't identified what group you've lumped me in or who the devil is in your scenario
It seems to me that you're the one assuming that God is on your side

All you've said is you don't like men in women's sports. Did you read the article I posted? What did it say and why are you responding to me? I swear on my mother's bad hip, this is not hard.

I asked you a question and you seem to think that Christians can't chew gum and walk at the same time.
I suppose we're all supposed to become munks, never vote and pretend that we don't live in the world.
You haven't answered any of my questions,
Why am I responding to you? I responded to your post and you proceeded to tell me how wrong I am without knowing anything about me

Conservative Christians can do all kinds of things. The question is: Are they good?

I suppose we're all supposed to become munks, never vote and pretend that we don't live in the world.

If only they had the spiritual discipline of monks and the desire for the kingdom alone. But that is not the fruit we see. What we see is a desire for power, control, and rank paternalism. It's not very monkish or Christian, if I do say.

You haven't answered any of my questions,

What authority do you have over me? I have one Lord, and it ain't you.

Why am I responding to you?

Do tell.

I responded to your post and you proceeded to tell me how wrong I am without knowing anything about me

I commented on Conservative Christianity, and you jumped in as if you were the target of my critique. You tell me.

I consider conservative and Christian to be two different things. I'm a Christian, not a conservative Christian.
My political views tend to lean towards being conservative.
Let's talk about liberal Christianity. Is it Godlike to support unchecked abortion, and gender affirming surgery for minors ?
If Harris had won would that have been a victory for Christians?

You're missing my point. The kingdom is above the politics and the culture. You have identified the way of Christ with a political party, and you won the party, but that will not, cannot win the war by that means. You could have voted Democrat and come just as close to the kingdom by that means.

I just told you they were separate.
You're the one trying to make me a conservative Christian.
I just told you that I am not.
I am a Christian. Period.
You seem to think that someone can't be conservative and then still be correct in their walk with God. You are so prejudiced that it has blinded you.
I asked you who"y'all was and what group you were lumping me into and now you've made it obvious.
I asked you about liberal Christians to try to get you to see what you are doing.
You have judged me, and determined because of my political preferences that I am somehow wrong as a Christian.
You couldn't be more wrong.
And don't suppose that you know who I voted for because I didn't vote for Trump

Did you vote for Trump? You don't have to say, we all know. I'm not ashamed of note voting for him because I'm not for that.

No , I did not vote for Trump. I didn't like either candidate.
You've made another judgmental assumption.
Is that the only way you could think of to respond to my post?

Who is Donald Trump? Who is he to you? Who is Jesus ? Who is he to you? The answers to these questions should be radically different in important ways. What are those differences? Our readers are curious, it seems.
Jesus is my Lord and Savior, God in the flesh, the second person in the Trinity.
Trump is the current president. I’m not confused about which one is which
