Many can not be verified, but they are amazing stories anyways. So if you run across or know of some, share them here so that we all can rejoice in the telling.

A young man working in the army was constantly humiliated because he believed in God. One day the captain wanted to humiliate him before the troops. He called the young man and said: – Young man come here, take the key and go and park the Jeep in front. the young man replied: – I cannot drive! The captain said: – Well then ask for assistance of your God! Show us that He exist! The young man takes the key and walked to the vehicle and begins to pray…… …He parks the jeep at the place PERFECTLY well as the captain wanted. The young man came out of the jeep and saw them all crying. They all said together: – We want to serve your God! The young soldier was astonished, and asked what was going on? The CAPTAIN crying opened the hood of the jeep by showing the young man that the car had no engine. Then the boy said: See? This is the God I serve, THE GOD OF IMPOSSIBLE, the God who gives life to what does not exist. You may think there are things still impossible BUT WITH GOD EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

like Peter walking on the water and Lazarus being raised from the dead, the story above is lovely, but, at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established. Deut 19:15

(Mt 18:16, John 8:17, 2 Cor 13:1, 1 Tim 5:19, Heb 10:28, Deut 17:6, Num 35:30...)

I agree, although we may learn from such stories I tend to discount them because they can never be verified. I also think most miracles are small and we often don't recognize them.

However, here are two small "miracles" that I can verify because they happened to me in the last month. And I think they are typical of things that people either pause and go "hmmm" about and forget, or write off to coincidence.

As many of you know, my husband passed away over the summer. He left behind a dental supply business of which I know absolutely nothing about. One of the daunting tasks I had to do (with the help of friends and relatives, thank G-d) was inventory all the remaining products, of which there are a LOT and which often are very small.

Managed to get that done, and then decided to try to sell off the product at great discounts. So I have gotten several orders, and the first one I went to fill, I could not find two of the items. They were on the inventory list so I know they were there, but I could not locate them anywhere. Finally out of frustration, I said out loud "Pesach, this is YOUR stuff. Where are these things"! Not expecting a response of course, but said out of sheer irritation. Well, I found those two things within 15 seconds, just seems all of a sudden I knew where to look.

Another item someone wanted was a box of plastic material, of which there were dozens and dozens packed into a cabinet. Every box is different: different shape, size, thickness. I would have to go through every single box until I found the right one. So I open up the cabinet, and there dead center, where I could not miss it, was the box I needed. On top of the box was a note in my husbands handwriting with the Dr's. name on it who wanted to buy it. Even if my husband had left the note before he was niftir, what are the odds it would still be there after all the boxes were removed, inventoried, and put back? Just about zero as it was loosely set on top.
And none of us remember seeing such a note.

That's beautiful, even in our frustration He hears us and loves us and answers us... all the while submitting to the laws of nature.

For some reason I keep loosing things. Keys, papers, boxes. Small and large items. Everyone would help me hunt and search and turn the house upside down looking for my stuff. It could take hours for us to find things sometimes.

Because I do this so often, everyone's tired of my problem and refuses to help me anymore.

So now I don't tell anyone I've even lost anything. I say "Lord, where's such and such, where's such and such?"

I keep walking around the house looking and asking for YHWH's help.

Always HE leads me or shows me where to look and I find it very quickly. HALLELUJAH.

Recently I had a miraculous find. I had lost my wallet outside the home one day after driving around doing several errands and making several stops.

When I got home I didn't have it. It was gone. This time I asked for prayer from one elderly lady who still prays for me when I'm in trouble. I knew it was no where in the house. I knew it was out in the city somewhere.

I'd heard of a minister who travelled and preached for the Lord from city to city. One day he left his favorite suit jacket in the hotel room closet, and he was now on the plane heading to another city for his next speaking engagement.

He said "Lord, you know how I never ask for anything for myself. Please put my suit jacket in the next hotel room." When he checked into his next hotel room, there was his prized suit jacket in THAT closet.

This story was strong on my heart when I was praying for my lost wallet. I had so many important cards and papers in it, and replacing some things would be difficult, expensive, and time consuming. Not to mention being without my wallet and cards for even a day would be a severe hardship to me.

So I asked YHWH to please put my wallet in the house somewhere so I could find it.

I walked around the house seriously repenting for being so careless, and earnestly praying for a mercy miracle from YHWH, and all of a sudden YHWH told me to look in my locked filing cabinet. I did and there it was. I was so overwhelmed by this miracle. YHWH saved me from the time consuming hardship of replacing all I lost, and showed me HIS great power in moving a lost object into a new place so I could retrieve it.

This isn't the first time YHWH has moved things for me, but it certainly was a profound experience, at a time I was repenting for being so careless with things.

Several years ago there was a fine Christian woman full of faith in our assembly. She was one of several who had miracles happen to her all the time.

One day her and her daughter went to an evening movie.

When they got out of the theatre late at night the car wouldn't start. It was dark and not really a safe situation for 2 women.

There were some men milling around in the parking lot in a way that made them feel too uncomfortable to ask them for help, so the 2 women stayed in the car. They started praying for YHWH to start their car and HE did.

When they got home the husband checked under the hood to see what was wrong and discovered some wires had been strangely disconnected.

YHWH started a car with HIS power to get 2 women safely home.

Amen... I think it is often the case that we do not ask. There fore we assume that it doesn't happen because it didn't happen to us. I know from personal experience it does.

When my girls were little [1 and 3] I was taking them for their yearly visit with their grandma and grandpa who lived 600 miles away. I had just left town and got maybe about 30 miles out when all of a sudden smoke was pouring out of the exhaust pipe, the gas gauge was dropping rapidly, so fast in fact that I thought I may not make it to the next town. The car was not getting the combustion that it should so it was getting so slow that I ended up driving on the side of the road with the four ways blinking.

I was praying that I would make it to the next town. I did. I was praying that there would be a garage open on a Sunday. This was one of those blink and miss it type of towns.

The only gas station in town happened to have a man leaving the closed building when I pulled up. I ask him if he knew where I could find a mechanic and he said he was one but the shop was closed. I begged him to look at my car. He did. He told me that I have blown the motor, the valves and pistons and if I leave it there he would work on it come Monday and it would take $$$$ and a couple of days to get it fixed.

I went back into the car and turned to my girls and asked who would like to pray for our car so that we could go see grandma and grandpa. My 1 year old said she would. It was such a sweet little prayer. I prayed that God would answer the prayer of my little one. He did. I turned the key and the car fired up like it was brand new. It drove those 600 miles without a fill up.

When I got to my parent's house, I told my dad about what the mechanic said about the motor. He went out to check and when he went to turn the car on, it would not fire up. We took it to my parent's favorite mechanic and got a new motor put in because the pistons, rings and values were blown.

I recommend reading Miracles: The Credibility of the New Testament Accounts (2 Volume Set) by Craig Keener.
