Certainly it's a lot preferable (in my eyes) than the people gearing up in bulletproof vests and "the AR-15 of the Spirit" in order to face 'Satan's minions'.

I suspect that the verse is hearkening not to the idea that the ear bandage is some part of God's armor, but rather that an attack that they say came from the devil was unsuccessful. i.e. An attack meant to kill Trump only resulted in an ear wound.

I find it all rather silly.

I have little faith in a person who writes a Bible verse on a cocktail napkin then affixes it to their ear in solidarity with a convicted felon and sexual abuser. Sorry but that is how I feel.... I would have liked 1 John 1:9 better.
