Topic.

I have several memories of being in heaven before I was born. I never "remembered" these; I have just never forgotten them.

I have looked *all* across the internet for similar experiences, but all I get are new age reincarnation sites.

I do not believe I've been previously "carnated." What I'm looking for are memories of life either as a baby before birth, or a spiritual existence before being born.

If you have stories, please post them.

---
"Beseige him, frustrate him, distract his development, kill him if possible, but cripple him at all costs-that was their plan."
I believe that your memories may be playing tricks upon you.
We perceive, and therefore distort our memories and as a result, are often misled.
good luck whatever you feel.

Kol, I think you want to just believe that you are a chosen person whose experience is of God whereas others are evil. I don't think you want to listen to anyone even suggest this may not be of God as you believe, or even want the demonic experiences you keep having to go away. It's all so much a part of you and you don't want to let go. So any efforts to try to even make you think or test it a little more are in vain.

I think you have a lot of understanding to do about spiritual things once you become a Christian. Generational things too, deceiving spirits etc etc. And the effect of holding on to occult literature.

You can keep your life long friendly "blonde haired man" around you. But I'll take Jesus thanks!

In short, imo your memories are not your own, nor have they edified me or brought me any closer to God or an understanding of Him.

Lara, my post was not meant to be personal against you. I was saying who I am and I'd like to think not Phariseeical, more Berean, though I'm certainly not an intellectual either!

I've never ever said, meant to imply anywhere or even thought that you are a "spiritual retard" or have "second class spirituality" and especially not because you're Indian. It makes no difference to me because we're all created in the image of God and - as I've said before elsewhere (Acts 17:26) from one man he made every nation... I certainly don't see myself as better than you in any way.

And I hope you know that in many of your posts, I've supported you, right? This white English guy is interested in hearing a Cherokee Indian telling her side of things on the forum! And I'll continue to support you... but I'll always - whoever's posting - want to be Berean and check things out myself... though I also know that you'll have done that too. My post to you, I did say was for Kol too - and so they both got mixed up. It probably wasn't the best way to write it and didn't mean to say that you didn't know about testing spirits etc. As I also said in another post, your story did have points which I could relate to as being Biblical - even as you said about the "breath" of God. That was not present in Kol's story (for me at least).

Anyway... I hope you don't shut yourself away with your pine needle baskets and keep away from the forum. God bless... Take care.

....and remember, you're not inferior to anyone Lara. Nobody is superior to you. And you're made in God's image, just the same as everyone else - and just like me, He has grafted you into the vine... as an equal.

I'm sorry for what Indians have faced (and do face) at the hands of the white man. Please know though that I for one hate hearing about these racially motivated crimes. It's sickening what has happened in the past - and still happens today. As I've said before, how different it would be if everyone just loved God, and loved their neighbour as themself (or in humility better than themself)... and understood that we all come from one man. What a world... :(

Anyway... please take care... and please keep posting! As I've told you before, I for one enjoy your posts and find you a breath of fresh air!

God bless

Kol,
Man nobody here wants to attack you. We are all here testing daily what God has given us. There are some here that get constant emails from me wondering if I heard & saw & interpreted correctly. This is serious stuff...soul & eternity stuff & we want to get it rite for ourselves & others around us.
We're all here to help each other.

It's just you gotta be careful when something is taught that you can't find in scripture...been there done that myself. I've heard messages that don't line up...& that is shakey territory.
Do me a favor ask these being guides that you see...If Jesus is Lord. Please post again & let me know what happens man.

I should explain something.

I don't have any "guides." The Holy Spirit is my only guide/compass. As a compass it's usually not even necessary; I can usually tell, as I'm sure so can most of you, what I need to stay away from in life.

As far as I know, I do not usually meet with any spiritual or supernatural beings on a regular basis. I go to sleep, have a few dreams, and wake up to go to work.

That having been said, there *is* sometimes a man that speaks to me in my dreams. Often, what I'm dreaming will be interrupted and I'll 'wake up' near him.

Before I was a Christian, he spoke only about one thing: about how I needed to accept Christ. Since then, he's told me only a few things about my life.

I hardly *ever* see him. I can't "call" him, ask for him, anything. If I pray to see him, I don't. It seems difficult for him to speak to me. He interrupts my dream, tells me something, then leaves; that's it.

I don't completely understand who he is. In my dreams, I seem to think he's somebody very important, but when I'm here, awake, I have no idea.

Okay.

I don't think you want to listen to anyone even suggest this may not be of God as you believe, or even want the demonic experiences you keep having to go away.

I don't have continuing demonic experiences. I've had two strange experiences lately. In one, I woke up with an evil spirit above my bed. I couldn't wake up; it wouldn't let me. I somehow left my body, tried to project the Holy Spirit onto it, and chased it away. I then came back and woke up. The second experience was one where I sensed a strange spirit enter my drunk uncle, right before he hollered at a cousin of mine.

Just look for the posts by me, Kol.

It's all so much a part of you and you don't want to let go. So any efforts to try to even make you think or test it a little more are in vain.

I don't see how that is the case. I've thrown away anything that's even remotely related. I gave a Christmas gift to God; it was about a dozen Cd's of music that I thought weren't 'good' to listen to. I don't know what else I have. Having a memory and testing it is one thing. You seem to be suggesting that I should forget it, when I've been given no evidence that it is detrimental in any way. Moreover, the Holy Spirit has never moved or reacted at all to these memories. The only way it has reacted is when I chased that one 'thing' away.

I think you have a lot of understanding to do about spiritual things once you become a Christian. Generational things too, deceiving spirits etc etc. And the effect of holding on to occult literature.

Okay.

You can keep your life long friendly "blonde haired man" around you. But I'll take Jesus thanks!

You imply that I don't want Jesus! Am I less Christian than you because I have intuitive/supernatural experiences?

I'd prefer Jesus as well! And that other guy's never been terribly friendly. I don't really even know who he is. This isn't some demi-god I can "summon". It's just some guy that talks to me in my dreams.

In short, imo your memories are not your own, nor have they edified me or brought me any closer to God or an understanding of Him.

Sorry they don't do it for you. Maybe they weren't meant for you. Maybe they were meant for me or someone else. I really don't know. ::shrugs::

I keep hearing this 'thing' about me thinking I'm chosen. I *do* like to pretend I'm the Highlander when I'm at work, but other than that, I think I'm innocent of this charge. It's not true. People are imagining things.
