My son has cerebral palsy and Schriavo was nothing near that.
I saw what the media put out and I saw what the family put out.
She wasn't just laying there. She smiled, laughed, responded and stroke victims do the same.
I have known cerebral palsy patients and some do not even speak, just make sounds.
But they have value to loved ones.

Her husband had two kids while shacking up with another woman is conflict of interest.
Per the Church, not the lay people, she was fully entitled to human dignity.
A feeding bag is not comatose not brain dead.

I did hospice.
Lots of us have. In more ways than just being a volunteer. :praying: it’s good to be open to more medical knowledge as it comes out while still abiding by our faith and what the Church teaches us. :priest:

Sad situation.
I don't like thinking about my patients.
