Just as the carnal natural man unbeliever is not able to understand the deep things of God (1 Cor 2:9-16), carnal babes in Christ are not able to understand the spiritual meat or solid food of God's word. Nothing says that being carnal keeps someone from understanding and responding to the simple gospel message. You are evading this point and not addressing it.

Did their carnal thinking make them lose their faith in Christ? No! But, it made them sin and act spiritually immature. Are we saved by works or by faith? Not by works and by faith, right? That's why those carnal Christians were still Christians. If we were saved by works they would have lost their salvation, but they didn't because they had faith. We have examples of people who were only thinking carnally, yet they still had faith. But, you say such a thing is impossible.

Salvation is promised to a specific seed Rom 4:16
