Jesse Duplantis' message on Heaven

Please do not knock Jesse and kill the thread - I just want to know how many of you have heard his message on being brought up to Heaven for over 5 hours and the word that Jesus gave him to bring back of "tell them I am coming."

To hear him and see him on this message I feel it was real and a Blessing.

He tells some things on this message that we wonder about and a lot of questions were answered.

He never saw his face because the light was so bright - but it was a wonderful encouraging message - we won't be sitting around on a cloud doing nothing.

I took exception to that since Jesus clearly stated in Mark 12:25 "For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry, not are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven."

Hahaha...a mess is right! I know she told this but I could be remembering who said it incorrectly...could it have been Copeland or someone like that? I'm pretty sure, though, she said it was Duplantis.

SharonL, yes I get tired of people turning a thread into something that wasn't the original intent, too.

Jessie DuPlantis said it caused them to search the scriptures for different things. We have to remember just because we interpret something one way doesn't mean that's the way the Lord interprets it.

I would love to get the CD and hear it in its entirely.

Hey man check Jesse out he has some interesting things to say on Luke 4:18

“The very first thing on Jesus` agenda was to get rid of poverty! Would you like to know why some people, including ministries, never get out of poverty? Its not because they aren’t smart. Its not because they don’t have windows of opportunity. Its because they’re not anointed. If you’re not anointed, poverty will follow you all the days of your life. Jesse went to heaven?

Yes. It's been several years since I've heard this testimony, but I believe he was in a hotel room praying on his knees by the bed. He was transported to heaven. When he returned he noticed 5 hrs. had passed. Hope I'm remembering the facts right. I hope someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

His testimony tells what he saw during that time. I believe this is from Jesse's testimony, but I've heard others too who have have had visions, or been there, they don't always know if it was in the body or out of the body, I mean really, who is thinking about the body at a time like that? Yeah? Okay, one of the things he saw, or whomever it was, was how people know when someone is coming, when they leave the earth to go home, and await in anticipation. They are there to greet their loved one upon their arrival. This has touched my heart greatly, for I have a little one in heaven. My heart yearns, and rejoices to know he/she is eagerly looking forward to seeing Mommy, Daddy, two sisters and brother. I can't express the emotion of knowing we will all be together one day.

I don't know if Jesse's said that or not, but there will be plenty of Chinese in heaven. The church in China is growing faster than in the US. We have a team from our church in China right now.

It wasn't Chinese - he said he saw many Middle Eastern children, but not many Middle Eastern adults.

That certainly makes sense with what you see going on today.

The other thing regarding what Jesse said about the marriages in heaven - he never said that people were "marrying" or "given in marriage." If I remember correctly, he did say that while you would remember them as your husband/wife, the relationship was "different."

If anyone could hear him speak, it was easy to see that it was hard for him to find words for some of the things he saw. That is really not that unrealistic, considering many of us often times have a hard time putting into words what the Lord reveals to us.

Me too.

I hadn't heard that about mates when I listened to him.

I had the book (may still have it somewhere) and I remember it being encouraging. Things I remember most:
-him seeing children there, who suddenly got up and were very excited - "He's coming! He's coming!" A bright light approached and the children ran to it very happy. It was Jesus, and He picked them up and hugged them all.
-Jesus introduced Jesse to David, who was the only person in heaven who had a crown besides Jesus.
-There were no shadows - he kept looking for them but nothing cast a shadow because the light of God was everywhere.

That is what he said a couple years ago on the videos I got.

I know it has to be the same visitation he ids referring to.

I saw him preaching on TV not too long ago & it looks like he is still selling the Heaven series.
