A friend told me about it. She said he stated we would be in heaven with our original marriage covenant mates.

I took exception to that since Jesus clearly stated in Mark 12:25 "For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry, not are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven."

I had planned on being in heaven with Jesus, my bridegroom.
This comment doesn't preclude the existence of husband wife relationships.

Marriage is a legal contract, specficly a human legal contract. The indication of scripture is that our state in eternity will be something like what it was originally meant to be in the garden of eden. Thus it is at least possible that husband wife relationships could exist. The division of humanity into male and female will not cease, so I wonder about the fact that God created man and woman to need each other. I don't see that this would cease either.

I too have seen heaven and have seen Jesus in my presence. He sits with me and touches me when I'm needing comfort.
I don't have the luxury of spending 5hrs there but I know I can go back again.

I'll give the highlights. I have learned I am a spirit being functioning
in both worlds. In heaven and on earth. I have been visiting heaven
frequently. I have seen the apostles, touched the sea of glass (it runs
through the hand like liquid diamonds/glitter), seen the mountains,
waterfalls, carnivorous animals play and lay down with prey, walked the
streets, seen the large homes, the banquet table, the gate to heaven,
heard the angels sing etc.
I learned about how God gives our inheritence. What authority/rank we
will have in heaven. One of many secrets/key to the "universe" -God's laws. I'm hoping to learn more.
I want to hear more too.

This happen during sleep?

If Jesus very first objective was to get rid of poverty, why did he say "the poor you have with you always..." Did he prophecy that he would fail in his very first objective?
That is clearly one of Duplantis' biases, which makes the whole thing questionable to me.

I read the book and I liked it quite a bit at the time. Only thing that had me confused was his belief that we will still be "married" in heaven, though Jesus seems to say otherwise.
I don't remember him saying that we were still married but able to retain our closeness & relationship.

Not in the sense we know here but in a heavenly way.

I remember him saying something about seeing a family that perished in a plane crash sitting together...

I'm not sure what he meant really.

well, I've never read the book, or seen the video.. and I'd like to know what Jesse had to say about it. The only sites I can find on the internet that talk about it are the anti-jesse sites.. so I'm hesitant to take their word on it...

anyone care to explain what Mr. Duplantis had to say about heaven?

It wasn't Chinese - he said he saw many Middle Eastern children, but not many Middle Eastern adults.

That certainly makes sense with what you see going on today.
Yes, this does make perfect sense.

Praise God, He is revealing Himself to these nations too. Many have had dreams and visions of JESUS, and have come to Him. Yet, we know many, many have not, and they are horribly persecuting Christians in many countries around the world. Let's keep our brothers and sisters in prayer.

And now, back to the topic. (Sorry for the rabbit trail.)

AF, I'm sooo happy to see you! This is awesome, that you have had so many visits in heaven and seen such glorious things. I will not envy, I will not envy! :D Seriously, I am glad you have had these visions and hope the Lord releases you to share. Yet, walk in wisdom, dear friend. Follow His leading.

I notice you did not mention seeing the Lord.

I would like to hear more about rank and authority, if you are free to share.

From what I remember the essence of what he said was that we would still be married in heaven though of course it would not be the same as on earth. He goes on to explain how he was also confused when he learned this but he saw couples in heaven.

There will be no marriage in Heaven.

Marriage is an Earthly institution by God to demonstrate and to be a foreshadow of the relationship between Christ and His church.

Just as the Sabbath was a foreshadow of the coming Christ, and has now been fulfilled in Christ, so there will be no need for the shadow in Heaven, when the real marriage ceremony comes.

Please do not knock Jesse and kill the thread - I just want to know how many of you have heard his message on being brought up to Heaven for over 5 hours and the word that Jesus gave him to bring back of "tell them I am coming."

To hear him and see him on this message I feel it was real and a Blessing.

He tells some things on this message that we wonder about and a lot of questions were answered.

He never saw his face because the light was so bright - but it was a wonderful encouraging message - we won't be sitting around on a cloud doing nothing.

Once again, Duplantis shows that he's a false teacher.

Once again, Christians show that they'll abandon sound doctrine in a heartbeat, if they think it will satisfy their itching ears.

I really think we're not going to CARE. LOL Esp those in 2nd marriages now. We should just be glad to be seeing Jesus face to face.

I don't know if Jesse's said that or not, but there will be plenty of Chinese in heaven. The church in China is growing faster than in the US. We have a team from our church in China right now.
Amen to that!

Um ahem, there are "poorer" people that are very close to God. I have been "poor" myself.

I think for the first time maybe, that we will ALL be in perfect relationships with each other.

"This"? :D

I find it hard to believe someone like you was ever a wofer, now that you're in bed with the heresy hunters.

Iirc, you had some bad experience at one church; perhaps it was just that ONE church, maybe they claimed to be wof but really were cultic, and if they were cultic they probably didn't know it.

That doesn't make us all cults.
