Having strong negative feelings

Hello. My name is Jacob. I've made two posts asking for prayers for conditions before.

I'm struggling and now I have bad thoughts and feelings. I try different things to cope with them, but they come back. I want to talk to people about it, but these have made me stuck. I ask that you people would pray for these to go away, so I could feel fresh get my mind straight.

I don't know the details of your problems so can only suggest general answers.
Bad thoughts! If you mean thoughts that suddenly appear accusing you of things then these, known as intrusive thoughts, are best dealt with by just acknowledging them.
example, you suddenlt think, ' I'm a bad person' you respond , " Yes that is right" and move on paying it no more attention.

Bad feelings! As we are told do what phill 4: says, 8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Satan tempted Jesus with negative thoughts too....and He refused to listen to him. Do all in your power to put away anything that would cause these thoughts. Go through your music, your books, everything in your house and dispose of anything that would encourage negativity. If you have friends who pull you down, separate from them. All outside influences that you can control, God expects you to control. There are things you cannot control, and God will give you strength to resist temptation with those things, if you ask Him. Pray, and walk in the LIGHT God has given you, and He will give you MORE

Besides my little prayers a little testimony - part of my recovery is mental acceptance of things I used to like, and building on them in what way I like. When words are beyond me I do letters (written and spoken) for the sheer enjoyment. I pick up half remembered stories or facts. Pictures of actual aeroplanes and trains. Maps. Hearing Haydn and Brahms on old instruments (similar to chamber music). John Fogerty . . . Thus good occupies space;

Father, I lift Jacob up to You. I pray that You comfort His hurting heart. I pray that whatever roots are causing pain and anxiety, that You bring complete healing. I am pray against any anxious and oppressive spirits in Jesus Name, and ask for wholeness of his mind and emotions. Thank You for Your great love, mercy, and grace. In Jesus Name, Amen.
