If I drank some black tea at 6:20 or so is it still okay to receive communion for Pascha tonight? Or am I overthinking things?
I think you are still good to take communion.

Does anyone else have the idea of "if you sleep in between, it's okay?" It is prevalent in the Romanian community.
I haven’t heard that exactly. General rule of thumb I’ve heard is 6 hours before for evening liturgies or overnight for morning liturgies.

no, I have not heard that. the fast before communion is about time to prepare, not sleep.

I ate at 9:30pm because my last meal was around noon, and I was starting to get light-headed after spending 4 hours trying to fix a church friend's car. I imagine the church isn't quite as petty to reject you for drinking black tea past a certain time.

Problems like that are best discussed between you and your priest

this, especially since you still had around 7 hours before the Liturgy began.

Thanks everyone. I’ll keep all of this in mind for the future. For some reason, I read the website of my parish and thought it said the liturgy started at 11p instead of midnight. So my question was based on a misconception. But, again, thanks everyone and Christos Anesti!
