The Greek word in this verse is palai. The actual word for age or era is αἰών (aión). "Dispensation" is a more specific theological concept that encompasses not just the time period, but the unique responsibilities, revelations, and covenants associated with each period.

So, while "age" or "era" might broadly align with the idea of dispensations, the concept of dispensation includes a more detailed framework.

In my study , DISPENSATION // OIKONOMIA is only found in the following verses , by Paul !!

OIKOS , means a House

NOMOS , means a law

Law here does not means the LAWS OF MOSES !!

They can slice it and dice it pretty good. Even now we are going from the Church age to the Kingdom age. Everyone everywhere has their own opinion as to how we are going to transition from one to the other.

Even the fact that there may be a transition here on earth is subject to questioning and doubts. It can simply all take place after death.

There is prophecy in the Bible but a lot of times we do not really understand a prophecy until after it happens. During operation desert storm they set a lot of the oil wells on fire. I took that as being a fulfillment of prophecy in the Bible. Biblical prophecies are often written in symbolic and metaphorical language, making them open to various interpretations.

Unless a link is made in any event to God adversely engaging devils in mankind, I discount any surface values as too shallow. Any understandings that discount that fact is and will remain hollow/void

For example, it is not Israelites and middle easterners fighting each others. That is a blinded sight

It is the devils in those people, warring against and killing each others

People are just their pawns in their evil games

AND here is what Rom 1:1 really means .

Paul a slave of Christ Jesus , a called Apostle , having been SEPERATED //APHORIZO , which means Boundaries are set ,

and LIMITED to ONLY preach God's Gospel .

And in 1 Cor 11:1 we are to be IMITATORS of me , just as I also am of Christ .

And Eph 3:9 says , to MAKE all ( as to ) what is the MYSTERY // MUSTERION the one having been KEPT SECRET from the ages in God , the one having created THE ALL THINGS // TA PANTA , by Jesus Christ .

Yes it is LIMTED to what words we use IF we are preaching the WRONG Gospel as E ph 3:9 is what you are not preaching !!
