Greetings. We have no proof either way if Adam and Eve will be saved, but we hope they did respond to God's teaching and mercy. Despite popular opinion, the question you ask though is contrary to the teaching of Genesis 3. The sentence upon Adam for disobedience wasmslpanthers12 said:I don't think it says, what do you think?

Greetings. The question reflects "popular opinion" and uses terms that assumes that the reward of the faithful is to be with God in heaven (perhaps at the moment of death as is taught today at most funeral services) and the punishment of the wicked is to be tormented with fire in hell. The OT does not use these terms. The punishment of the wicked is shown in the OT to be death, and the reward of the faithful is shown to be resurrection and everlasting life upon the earth. This is a large subject and a bit off topic, but some scriptures and thoughts to answer your question.StAnselm said:How can the question be contrary to Genesis 3?
TrevorL, are you saying there is no heaven or hell?
qootle said:So even if Adam and Eve went to 'prison' after they died, they would have had an opportunity to accept the gospel of Jesus. Hopefully they did. If so, we'll see them in Heaven!!
Greetings again. Without answering all the ideas that you raise, how do you understand the Psalmists view of the grave or Sheol ?Kolya said:"Dear Trevor,
Your lack of knowledge in Greek and Hebrew is showing. What is referred to in the OT as the grave is Shoel or Hades in Greek. It is the 'place' where humans in spirit form reside awaiting the day of the Resurection. There is a form of consiousness there, otherwise there would have been no need for Jesus to have decended there to Preach to them while He was in the tomb on that Sabbath."

The message of Genesis is that sinners are excluded from Paradise, or the Garden of Eden, and that sinners do not live for ever.linssue55 said:They are in Paradise right now, Jesus talked to them all of time in the garden. They were believers, no different than us as sinners.

The message of Genesis is that sinners are excluded from Paradise, or the Garden of Eden, and that sinners do not live for ever.
Genesis 3:22-24 (KJV): "22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: 23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. 24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life."
The Bible does not reveal if Adam and Eve believed the gospel and were thus saved and received forgiveness. We all hope that they did.
Kind regards
Trevor
