Blessing in Chinese ... pls help????

I have a very elementary chinese, and I have a chinese- english translation dictionary only and not vice-versa, which does not help much.
Pls, if you know chinese, can you tell me how do you say blessing in chinese.
Ex blessing related to people – you are a blessing
Or blessing related to things – that book is a blessing.

If you can tell me the pinyin words with the tone will be fine or if you can scan the chinese characters will be better.

sorry can't help but while I was looking for some japanese words I cam across sutes that gave me the japanese script for the english word.....search in altavista / ask/ google.....you must look for <......> in chinese script

The closest to a blessing i know in chinese is:

Yeh Soh oi nay - Jesus Loves you (Cantonese)

If you would like to say something specifically please let me know and I'll be able to help you a bit better or at least find out for you.
(My parents are fluent in the cantonese dialect)
