So It's my dad's birthday on June 9 n I have No idea what to get him. I usually buy him gift cards but he hasn't been using them lately. Places like home depot or restaurants he likes he just doesn't use them. I usually buy him stuff for the yard or unusual birdhouses or windchimes. He wants neither bc he's trying to clean out. He also doesn't want any clothes so I'm at a loss.

I'd appreciate any suggestions or ideas if u have any.

I usually get my Dad some sort of pocket tool. I've never met a guy who hate to have another pocket knife. So when in doubt, I get a pocket knife, a multitool, a folding pocket-wrench, or something like that.

Another option is to see if there are any CDs he would like but doesn't have.

Why not give him the pleasure of your company by taking him to dinner instead of giving him a gift card for a dinner?

Does he enjoy outdoor sport? Maybe arrange for a weekend getaway for him and friends? Fishing, golf, whatever he enjoys.

If he's under a lot of stress a massage appointment is ideal. I gave a gift certificate for a full body massage to my aunt last year. She still thanks me for that one.

Or, how about just taking the day with your dad, his day and spending time with him. Your treat all day long.
You only get one dad. Cherish the time you have.

Dads are so hard to shop for sometimes, aren't they? ^_^

My last resort is buying a movie he might want to see. I did that last year and it worked out pretty well, he really liked it. I'm not sure how much your dad likes movies though.

You could buy him a combination of little things. Like a ticket to a really nice car wash. It's always nice to buff up your car a little bit. Especially if he's into cars.

You could ask your mom and siblings what they are getting him and find something to coordinate with their gifts.
