‘Democrats Learned Nothing’: Karoline Leavitt Destroys Dems Over DOGE, Calls Them ‘Incredibly Out Of Touch’

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt slammed Democrats attempting to push back on the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Monday on Fox News, saying they are “completely out of touch” with what voters want.
Democrats have ramped up their pushback against DOGE and Elon Musk, protesting throughout the week of Feb. 3 against the agency’s cleanup of Musk’s involvement in Trump’s administration and what it says is government waste. On “Hannity,” Fox’s Sean Hannity asked the press secretary if she would be willing to respond to Democrats like California Rep. Maxine Waters and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s meltdowns over Musk, stating how the voters understood DOGE would be used during his second term.
“I would love to, Sean. Clearly the Democrats learned nothing from their devastating defeat on November 5 because this is exactly what the American people voted for. President Trump campaigned alongside Elon Musk, and President Trump promised voters on the campaign that he was going to make our government more efficient,” Leavitt said.

Holy cow, the GOP White House press secretary thinks Democrats are wrong? Who could have imagined such a monumental occurrence. That'll certainly change the mind of every Democratic voter in the country overnight.

Come on, what's the point of posting partisan propaganda as if it means anything at all outside the Fox News crowd echo chamber?

Kayleigh McEnany Says Dems’ New ‘Buzzword’ Against Trump Shows They Have Learned Nothing From 2024 Election

Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said the Democrats’ accusations that the nation is in a “constitutional crisis” under President Donald Trump indicates they have learned nothing from their previous rhetoric during the 2024 election.

Several prominent Democratic lawmakers have warned that Trump and Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) head Elon Musk’s work to eliminate wasteful spending and reduce the size of the government has put the U.S. in a “constitutional crisis.” McEnany compared the Democrats’ new “buzzword” to their previous claims that Trump is a “threat to democracy” ahead of the 2024 election, indicating that this type of rhetoric is unsuccessful in convincing the American people to be on their side.

I guess apparently the courts are out of touch as well.
I guess the courts are not as astute as a Trump press sec interview on the network who lies to you for the sake of profit.
Why anyone who think this is something to behold is beyond me.

has put the U.S. in a “constitutional crisis.

Trump issues EO.
Courts say 'no', that's illegal/unconstitutional.
As long as Trump takes his lumps, there's no problem.

But he and others (who should know better) have been talking about the judiciary in ways that could lead to such a crisis between two branches of government.

I know people on the right want to keep bringing up student loans and Biden. Biden didn't ignore the court decisions, he went back to square one and used different means to do different things that eventually passed court muster. Trump is welcome to do the same.

In their immunity decision, the Supreme Court created a catastrophe which, as Trump would say, the likes of which has never been seen before.
Hopefully the fear of God has struck them and they will contain this catastrophe before it threatens their very existence as a check and balance.

Did Trump not already do the same his first term when he wanted to do the "The Muslim Ban"? The court told him no, your reasoning is unconstitutional, but they worked around it to finish the intended goal.

That shows he and his administration are aware of how it works, and are capable to do it. But now it seeme like they want to just bulldoze through the SC and we're suppose to think it's the same.

FADEL: And obviously, we don't know intent here, whether it's being ignored or just taking time to comply. But what happens if a president decides to just ignore court rulings?

GERTNER: Well, the - a court - a judge has tools available to him or her in the first instance. You know, they can cite the parties in front of them for contempt. They can impose fines. Of course, since one of the parties, arguably, here is Elon Musk, it's not clear that fines are going to make a particle of difference. There's even the possibility of imprisoning someone until the order is followed. All of these are, obviously, empty threats with respect to the defendants in this case. The marshals would have to enforce whatever orders the judge entered. The problem is that the Marshals Service is under the Department of Justice, and if Trump wanted to fully not comply, he could direct the Department of Justice not to comply. At that point, you have a full unconstitutional crisis. You have one branch of the government ignoring the legitimate comments - the legitimate orders, rather, of another branch.

Ex-Representative David Jolly (R-FL) had some harsh words about his party’s deference to Donald Trump.

“I don’t think Republicans in Congress know what they’re doing right now,” Jolly said. “They have a government funding cliff and a debt ceiling coming up in four weeks, and they don’t even know how to solve that.

“I think, Alex, that we’re in a constitutional crisis. I really believe that, people are tepid in saying that—but I would say not just because of Trump and [Elon] Musk, though they’re facilitating it,” Jolly continued. “The constitutional crisis is because the Republican Congress has collapsed.

John Roberts must’ve been okay with being the final Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

Why, yes.

It's a two way street, sir.

A Republican can call CNN or MSNBC propaganda, too.

You know?

A post appears to be confusing news organizations with spokespeople for a politician.
No. I’m not confused at all, thank you very much.

And yet the post in question tried to make a false equivalence between independent journalists and a paid spokesperson. Is the implication that was an intentional attempt to mislead?
