Yep, the part about foreign policy is true. What is also true is congress controls the purse stings which means 'no money, no action'. And my sincere hope is that congress will financially shut down any of Trumps overtures toward Putin/Russia. The situation reminds me too much of Neville Chamberlain's dependency on Hitler's signature on a piece of paper: 'Peace in our time' in Chamberlain's words just prior to WWII.
Didn't that war also start with Russia and Germany being allies? And come to think about it also with neither one of them being trustworthy.

What?

The prices of eggs aren’t Trump’s fault, nor were they Biden’s. They don’t control the bird flu.

Good grief

Here’s the thing, you didn’t know what I was “SMH” about. Same as anyone else doesn’t know when it’s your SMH (and nothing else).

Anyways, is there going to be Trump Tower near the Kremlin after his final term?

This may be true but fun fact. The price of eggs went waay up like everything else in Canada at the end of the 'pandemic'. No reason given, like with the other products, the usual cash grab. Now that they are going up in the States one would think they would be rising here, but no. So it is doubtful bird flu is the reason. Human manipulation of some sort as usual, yes.

I did hear some reporting yesterday that the big egg companies have taken advantage of the price increases due to shortage to really boost their egg prices beyond what the supply-demand curve would indicate. The restaurant chains did the same thing in 2021 when they faced modest increases in food prices and rising labor costs.

My point is there was and is no shortage here so the bf excuse is questionable. So easy to fall for the ol' supply and demand thing, yet it only seems to work one direction.

True although Stalin was stunned by Germany's invasion. I guess he was still giddy with getting Poland as a gift.

I just bought eggs at Sam's for $5.99 for 1 1/2dz. A little high but still not $10+ like the news media has been claiming.
I've seen eggs at near $10. Always a designer organic free range .... egg. Most likely Jumbo too.

I don’t know.

Again, not going to defend the man.

Just to be abundantly clear.

Relax, my post was mainly a “bump”.

But how do you feel about POTUS working closer with the adversary than the ally?

Ok.

Again, I don’t like everything he does.

However, I must be more informed on this subject. It indeed appears Putin is the aggressor.

If people want organic they shouldn't complain about the price.

I agree. Organic is always more expensive.
That happens when you use less efficient methods of production with silly woo woo rules.

It was never an issue when nearly every family farm had chickens that played outside all day eating organically. Now of course there are barely any family farms left, let alone those types of genetically unmodified and organic chickens.
