Is it a sin to have nude pictures of your wife?

I'm getting married next month so all of these 'marriage related' questions are coming out. Normally I would ask someone at Church but i don't really feel that comfortable talking to anyone about this stuff.

I know Porn is wrong and is pretty much adultery, but i also know that having sexual desires for your wife is actually of God (it was weird getting my head around that one)

But what about taking and keeping pictures or films of each other? If both parties consent and desire and want to keep copies?

This hasn't happened to me yet or might never happen but I'm a little curious.

Any help would be great!

Once your married thats fine. Just as long as you prefer your wife to the actual pictures. In my case my fiance lives 8,000 miles away. So when we are apart for about a year we will have those kinds of pictures/videos to keep us company...wink wink. lol

Obviously ask for permission first. And respect her answer if it is no. Also beware that unless you live by yourself, theres always a risk someone can find them and see them. Or worse yet a virus on your computer could let someone see them and share them. I plan to keep that sort of stuff on a locked USB drive.

I personally see no "sin problem" with being aroused by your own wife. God wants us to enjoy each other -- faithfully, only to one another. Sexuality within the bounds of marriage is a gift from God to be treasured. My bigger concerns would be security of the pictures -- making sure not only that she is OK with it (as she is in your hypothetical), but *also* that the photos were secure enough that they would never be seen by no one but you. And hopefully, though it sounds morbid, if you suddenly died or became incapacitated she'd know how to destroy any and all copies.

Hell no there is no problem with it IF NO ONE ELSE GETS HOLD OF IT. The last thing I want all over the internet or in someone's billfold is a picture of my wife's boobies, privates, or booty. I should be the only one to get off to her looking at her hiney.

A husband is allowed to see his wife naked, so there’s nothing actually wrong with it. Also there are even “classy” places that will do boudoir photo shoots, with her in lingerie. That would be a good gift to you both.

My wife has been sending me nudes since we were 26. Thats when smart phones became a thing. The thing is we did share them online. And we both felt terrible after awhile. But i kept her pictures and when she is not around i pook at them, instead of porn. Which i felt was positive for a long time. However, recently i wondered if even doing that is a sin. That's why i googled it. And it led me here. I have tried to follow the Christian ways. So i take this as a sign. However, i am weary of taking advice from strangers online.

It is your life. Nobody else's. If you want to have nudes of your wife that is normal, just keep them private for your and your wife's eyes only.
