Thankful & not

Ps 100:4 Enter His gates with a song of thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, bless and praise His name.

KJV Dictionary Definition: THANKFUL, a. Grateful; impressed with a sense of kindness received, and ready to acknowledge it. The Lord's supper is to be celebrated with a thankful remembrance of his sufferings and death. Be thankful to him, and bless his name. Ps.100.

Col 3:
15 Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always].
(MY NOTE: Always be thankful to Christ, He's worthy)

16 Let the [spoken] word of Christ have its home within you [dwelling in your heart and mind—permeating every aspect of your being] as you teach [spiritual things] and admonish and train one another with all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
(MY NOTE: Spend time (daily) reading, praying & thankfully praising Jesus the Lord, your gracious, merciful, loving God)

17 Whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus [and in dependence on Him], giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
(MY NOTE: Whatever you do, no matter what it is, do in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks Father through Him.)

1 Thes 5:
16 Rejoice always and delight in your faith;

17 be unceasing and persistent in prayer;

18 in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.(My NOTE: No matter what the circumstances! Give thanks! This is ""the will of God"" for those in Christ)

Heb 13:15 Through Him, therefore, let us at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.
(MY NOTE: At all times! Praise God & be thankful, acknowledging the majesty of the Name above evey name, Christ the Lord!)

In Rom 1:21-32 People that didn't/don't/won't honor God ""or give Him thanks"", open a door that leads to a dark self-destructive outcome.

Ps 105:
1 (A) give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name;

2 Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; Speak of all His wonderful acts and devoutly praise them.

3 (A) Glory in His holy name;

Ps 107:
1 O give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His compassion and lovingkindness endure forever!

2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary,

Ps 118:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.

Ps 136:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Ps 136:2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Ps 136:3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Ps 136:26 O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.
