It really would be a miracle if their eyes were opened and they saw that a controversial reading of an ancient religious text was absolute truth after all
Yeah it will be but it might not be a pleasant one for them when it finally does happen.

Exactly. You guys have nothing.
We have fossils, gene sequences, comparative anatomy, geological strata, ice core, coral reefs, atols, star light, super novae, cosmic background radiation, zircon crystals, drop stones and much more.
You have nothing.

No, words in a book that is alleged to be the word of god.

Is that where it stops?

At the "allegedly" level?

Or should those who believe the Bible is the word of God go on and act on It?

I was entirely satisfied with BNR32FAN's answer. He has a preferred reading of an ancient religious text which he accepts as absolute truth. He does not feel the need to provide any other evidence for his position.
I can explain how scientists have misinterpreted the evidence if you like.

In the meantime, I think every scientist and academian should read and familiarize himself with John 9.

Atheism is not a requirement; you can put me on your list, too. I don't really care, as I am more interested in being on the list that Jesus is keeping.

Exactly. You guys have nothing.

That's right.

We guys have "nothing."

That's the "nihilo" part in the term "creatio ex nihilo."

And it's too bad that educated academians -- (you know ... those who are in debt to Alma) -- can't see it.

We have fossils, gene sequences, comparative anatomy, geological strata, ice core, coral reefs, atols, star light, super novae, cosmic background radiation, zircon crystals, drop stones and much more.

I ask for academia to give me scientific evidence of creatio ex nihilo, and you give me fossils, gene sequences, comparative anatomy, geological strata, ice cores, coral reefs, atolls, start light, super novae, cosmic background radiation, zircon crystals, and drop stones???

Do you understand what it is I'm asking for?

You have nothing.

Correct.

Well atheists prefer it because because they don’t believe in God and from what I’ve experienced in numerous discussions on the topic here on CF most Christians don’t know the facts about what science actually knows and doesn’t know about evolution. They just assume well it’s taught in college so it must be true. I mean I’m sure you have all types of different reasons for different people but it seems to me that the majority of them just went straight to reinterpreting the Bible instead of studying about what scientists actually know and how accurate their interpretations actually are.
So...would as referee decide for the team you prefer ?
Choose to believe the pretty girl in court just brcause?

If not why do you feel free to, prefer to, accuse all atheists of being without integrity?

That's the least of their worries.

Being without Christ is the worst.

That's OK. If scientists have misinterpreted their data the misinterpretation will eventually be revealed by further scientific work. That's how science proceeds and why scientific theories are held provisionally rather than as absolute truth. The matter is of less concern to me than it is to you, because I do not see my salvation in Christ as depending on it.

Worse than that. That which is so alleged
is nothing but what any eccentric individual
arrogantly claims to be an inerrant interpretation
of a particular translation of ancient tales.
And thereby Truth. Incarnate

If they went to college then they should know that a scientific theory is not ever presented as absolute truth.

No need for false accusations I’ve never stated that the acceptance of biblical creation is a requirement for salvation. And yes I agree scientists have to keep altering their theories every time they discover they were wrong, but the biblical creation account has never changed since it was first revealed 3,500 years ago. I don’t know about you but when somebody keeps giving me a different answer to the same question over and over at some point I start to lose faith in their credibility.

This is why I don't say the Bible is alleged to be the word of God.

It puts me in the same category as those who allege Elvis Presley is alive.

Instead, I say the Bible IS the word of God.

Period.

And thereby Truth. Incarnate.

Jesus Christ is "Truth Incarnate."
