Many Reasons why the COVID vax is not the Mark of the Beast

Just like the nazee garb (practices, routines, rules, symbols)
the jab represents hasatan.
Those who accept those things of hasatan are already mind-set to accept the mark.
Some of us who took the shot did so because we had no desire to die the kind of miserable deaths some of my friends did. BTW, a fig for hasatan or hahahasatan or Old Nick or the Booger Man or whatever you want to call him. He exists at all at our Lord's sufferance. He's a creature as we are, not a godling of sort.

SC Senate Passes Bill Banning Affirmative Care For Minors

Yes, agreed. Your society is changing in ways that you find abhorrent and have every right to fight for the “control” to keep it from veering “too far” from your values. That’s a good (and necessary) thing.
Yes it is necessary to fight.
Different people will have differing “boundaries” of where this politeness goes “too far”.
Yes and this has gone too far. Politeness is not afforded to everyone. Its not afforded to those who are raking away my daughters privacy, or her scholarships and awards. It's not afforded to those who threaten my livelihood and ability to provide for.my family simply because they demand I use a certain pronoun. It does not apply to those who are drugging kids and medicalizing them to turn them into the opposite sex just to experiment on them when there is no evidence that any of it actually works and has been proven to be physically harmful to them. There are circumstances when politeness is certainly appropriate and should be afforded. Others where it is not. There is a great difference on helping a transperson pick up things they dropped or to say please and thank you etc. And another all together to be polite when they threaten my livelihood.
You seem like a reasonable person and would never demand this behavior from anyone, though, seeings (as member of the Nation’s largest (core) religion), you wouldn’t need such a level of tolerance and understanding, for the rest of us to “have to tolerate” your insistence on using certain phrases.

It might look different to someone from a group that comprises ~0.6% of the population. They might need some extra help understanding their own worth, burdening them with my limitations seems cruel.
Yes I am reasonable and would never demand such a thing. And we as a society shouldn't allow it no matter who was doing it. As individuals it's perfectly acceptable if you want to use the pronouns or whatever, if you think it will help.
The “far reaching sociological ramifications” seem to be an intolerance for tolerance.
The intolerant are the ones making the demands. We've always been tolerant. This is something that you keep missing here. You admitted that they are trying to change society. And they are doing it through force of law, government, education and policies by threat. That's not tolerant. Tolerance is more of a live and let live situation.

I'm wondering how you got so confused on what tolerance is and how it is played out.

Sports Should Unify, Not Divide Us

Thank you for sharing that part of who you are.
You're welcome.

I remember when I was on my mission, and I was talking to this lady outside of her home while she was gardening and something came flying out of nowhere and almost clipped me in the head.

It turned out to be one of those real expensive graphing calculators - like the $100 ones - I don't know how much they are now - and I did see a school bus driving passed when that thing came at me.

Free calculator! :)
Imagine for a second that deepest darkest sin...the biggest one you've EVER done. WAs branded on your forehead for everyone to see.
How do you think people would choose to interact with you?
I get your point - but if we are remaining consistent - this is a self-imposed "branding" that can be removed at any time - barring no irreparable damage from hormones and surgery.

I hope you see why I might want to share the truth with someone suffering from this - as opposed to agreeing with their delusion or whatever - so that they hopefully don't get to that point where the "brand" is permanent.

And at least for me - it would be more about the damage I did to myself then what other people said that would do me in.

I have a difficult time forgiving myself for little things - I can't imagine how I would feel if I did something I could never fix.
A lot of people get offended or hurt when people call them rapists, or hedonists, or perverts, or groomers.
Sure - I understand that.

My advice would be - if you are not one of those things and your motivation is to not be labelled those things - avoid people, places and things that may cause people to think that of you.

I know people might not want to believe it - but there are a lot of examples of members of the LGBT community actively grooming kids - perhaps not to have sex with them - but some of the things are things a pedophile would do. They just would.

Telling kids to explore their bodies, to keep secrets from their parents, to open up to other people's sexuality - it's not unreasonable for people - especially parents - to think these things.

The Lord Jesus Christ often associated with "publicans and sinners" and prostitutes would visit Him - and He offered them healing and grace - yet He did not frequent places of sin or promote sinful behavior.
If you were none of those things and someone called you that, how would it make you feel?
There was a time that I would get angry or sad - but now - I honestly wouldn't care - unless I felt that I was in danger or something.

My getting angry or sad would only make things worse, in my opinion.
Not about you going to hell. That's dogma.
I do believe there is a Hell - but it is a temporary condition that only the unrepentant will suffer.
like "You should just go die"..."You shouldn't be alive. Go kill yourself". "My parents said you're gross and I have to stay away from you".
My wife says this stuff to me all the time. :)

I obviously don't agree with the calls to unaliving themselves, but I don't think parents would be unreasonable to want their children to stay away.
Stuff like that I guess.
I never said that transgender people could never be victims - only that they are not victims by default.

Democratic Party in full-blown ‘freakout’ over Biden????

Idk. I feel the least bit worried about another Trump presidency.

If Biden can pull it off and beat him again that’d be great but if he can’t and the country reelects Trump then we’ve only done it to ourselves. It says more about us and our broken politics that he is even in consideration for the position after his undignified and frankly, un-American behavior related to the 2020 election.

Our only saving is that it’s Trump and not someone more dangerous.

US pier constructed off Gaza has broken apart

The temporary pier constructed by the US military to transport aid into Gaza broke apart and sustained damage in heavy seas on Tuesday in a major blow to the American-led effort to create a maritime corridor for humanitarian supplies into the war-torn enclave, the Pentagon said.

The pier was “damaged and sections of the pier need rebuilding and repairing,” Pentagon deputy press secretary Sabrina Singh said on Tuesday. The pier will be removed from its location on the Gaza coast over the next 48 hours and taken to the Israeli port of Ashdod, where US Central Command will carry out repairs, Singh said. The repairs will take more than a week, further delaying the effort to get the maritime corridor fully operating.

Earlier, four US officials told CNN the pier broke apart in heavy seas.

Part of the pier, which consists of a narrow causeway to drive aid into Gaza and a wider parking area to drop off supplies transported by ship, disconnected on Sunday, the officials said. The parking area will have to be reconnected to the causeway before the pier can be used again.

The damage, first reported by NBC News, occurred three days after heavy seas forced two small US Army vessels to beach in Israel, according to US Central Command, while another two vessels broke free of their moorings and were anchored near the pier.

“I believe most of our soldiers were able to remain on the vessels and still are currently on them,” Singh said during Tuesday’s Pentagon press briefing. “And … within the next 24 or 48 hours, the Israeli Navy will be helping push those vessels back and hopefully they’ll be fully operational by then.”
This project has been unpopular inside the Administration and could affect the political winds, down the road.

Elon Musk Dominates Space Launch

While I do not like Musk (or how he treats his employees), it is good that space launches are more affordable, and we can thank SpaceX for that. NASA and the ESA got to step up their game.

So, when is the next SpaceX launch? I'll be watching it, as we have for the past few launches. Regardless of whether we like Musk or not, we both enjoy outer space. :) Space is cool, -450 degrees Fahrenheit cool.

Wealth can buy one the opportunity to make YUGE blunders and maybe, here and there, a chance to make history.
He’s doing more with his wealth than I would have done, so there’s that.

So he’s a terrible “boss”?
Henry Ford, John D Rockefeller and Edison were strict taskmasters too, they took some “bad press”.

It’s in the nature of “the gig”.

Now, we’ll wait to see if he rewatches a favorite movie while he vegetates away in the Penthouse of some hotel (or other), like that Hughes fella.

The Use and Abuse of the Bible in the Immigration Debate.

Joseph obviously had the power to set her aside or an angel wouldn't have to have appeared to tell him not to. It's doubtful people would have checked her virginity if she was obviously pregnant.
Deuteronomy 22 tells us what to do if a man or woman is found guilty of adultery,
It specifically says if they are caught in the act, and there are two witnesses. There were no witnesses since Mary never committed adultery.
and we know this was still in effect during Jesus' day otherwise we wouldn't have the situation of Him and the adulterous woman who was about to be stoned. Which was another situation where he prevented the LAW from being carried out.
Wrong again, the Jews did not have the authority to execute the woman, only the Romans did.

Feds secretly knew for years Joe Biden met with son’s Chinese partners on official trip

That's a fair assessment - but they claimed to have receipts - and they mocked Schiff enough to make me think that they wouldn't repeat what he did.

Or they are all in cahoots and they just act like they are fighting to keep us all divided.
I dunno, that sounds more like a Hanlon's Razor situation to me. I just don't believe politicians are that organized, frankly.

Robert De Niro slams ‘clown’ Trump during first Biden counter event at New York trial

Because the Republican electors still voted for Trump, despite the use of multiple actors trying to persuade them not to.

Gotcha

Despite your claim that Dems give less weight to the words of celebrities than do Republicans. Although that might not be your claim, but just a myth you repeated. I hear lots of stereotype myths about Republicans. They remind me of myths I used to hear about certain ethnicities.
Oh no, it’s my claim. One merely need look at the celebrities each side elects (Arnold, Trump, Reagan, Sonny Bono and others vs just Al Franken), as well as the way celebrities are treated in the respective camps. On the left, it’s just sort of assumed that celebs will be on our side, so we don’t swoon when they agree with us, but it’s such a rarity for you guys, that you’ll latch onto any washed up D-lister who starts talk about guns and/or ragging on gays. We got Robert friggin DeNiro and nobody batted an eye, whereas you guys got Scott Baio and Antonio Sobato Jr and had them speak at your convention.

Sure, that sounds like a good excuse. But, I'm just as convinced that, if the GOP had solid evidence of Biden's wrongdoing, they'd go ahead with the impeachment, even if the votes weren't necessarily there. Otherwise, why would they make a big deal about the investigation in the first place?

-- A2SG, but, of course, your mileage may vary....

Swastikas found in Oxford University lavatories

Nobody says the 17 student's were responsible for the Nazi symbols. It could have been any other Pro-Palestinian trouble-maker.

But you're right, Pro-Palestinian sentiment is not the same as Nazism... It's Nazi-Lite, since it lacks the killing of Jews.

...But the college kids are smart! They won't be doing it themselves, they're counting on persuading policy, so that others do all the killing for them... Kind of like how Adolf had everyone else do his dirty work for him.
While the Holocaust was a major component of the Nazi regime in Germany in the 1930s and 1940s, there were other “wrongs” (or are we to supposed that the Allies were only there to save the Jews)?

The main “wrong” with fascist-run governments is that they require the citizenry to champion their (own) homeland as the best of all possible countries.
With the leadership entrusted with such faith, they’re free to do all sorts of reprehensible things, and frequently do.

The Use and Abuse of the Bible in the Immigration Debate.

That’s the question I think I should be asking you. You don’t seem too familiar with the Bible, only semi familiar.

Joseph obviously had the power to set her aside or an angel wouldn't have to have appeared to tell him not to. It's doubtful people would have checked her virginity if she was obviously pregnant.

NH GOP Rep Votes Against Bill Banning Marriage of “Ripe, Fertile” Minors

Many US states have a "more restricted" drivers license for people who are 16.

For instance, here's what Ohio does for 16 year olds, they have a "probationary drivers license"

16-year-old drivers may not drive with more than one non-family passenger unless they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Additionally, teens are not allowed to drive between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m., unless they are traveling with a parent or guardian or in an emergency.
These are known as “Cinderella” licenses, “good ‘till midnight”.

"I Will Teach You the Fear of the Lord"

Definitely a New Testament teaching as well: Here are 7 passages instructing us in the fear of the LORD.

Luke 12:9, (1599 Geneva Bible)
"But I will [a] forewarn you, whom ye shall fear: fear him which after he hath killed, hath power to cast into hell: yea, I say unto you, him fear."
Footnotes:
a. He warneth them of dangers that presently hang over their heads, for those that come upon the sudden, do make the greater wound.

Acts 9:31,
"Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied."

2 Corinthians 7:1, (One of my favorite verses)
"Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."

Hebrews 12:28,
"Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:"

1 Peter 2:17,
"Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king."

Revelation 14:6-7,
"And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters."

Revelation 15:4,
"Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest."
Thank you. I appreciate that. God bless you.

Misbehaving and Unruly Tourist in Japan

I love travel and I cannot understand folks who don't understand how their actions could be disrespectful.
I have never seen one of earth’s oceans, (I’m told that they’re very nice, and big and [checks notes] wet). That the Parthenon exists, or the Pyramids of Giza are magnificent or there’s more Lamas in Tibet than llamas doesn’t interest me, and I do not feel a need to see such things with my own eyes.

I know that there are some people who will find such things fascinating and will travel to see them.

And that’s just how we’re “wired”, (I suppose).

But if I found myself at a Shinto shrine @23:00 (or 03:00) I’m going to “push envelops”, hard.

Which denomination is the right one?

What would John the Baptist say?

Frankly, I don't think a question that assumes that St. John the Forerunner was a member of a Baptist congregation deserves to be taken seriously. I know there's no arguing history with someone who thinks that "The Trail of Blood" is a work of Church history, but suffice it to say that it isn't, so your question is incredibly malformed and ahistorical.

Eco Church

Moving on then - the Eco Church with denominational mandate is immediately presenting Carbon Neutrality as a Morality yet the scientific community is split on the issue of climate change being Anthropogenic. (man made)

Given that much of science these days is no longer free of commercial bias through funding for research, the Eco Church movement is a political movement aligning with commercial interests.

I say back to the Great Commission and keep the Church out of politics.
