Some people get turned off to church by a pad experience or personality conflict. Others may get turned off by doctrine issues. However, there is another category of problems, that of structural problems trying to apply Christianity using the tool of an organizational system. Christianity is supposed to be about relationship (us with God and each other). Systems can do programs, events, classes, and scripted activities. However, they don't do relationships.
You might find more success using churches as a way to meet other Christians and foster relationships outside the church system.

You are not alone in having this view. Many feel this way, and often express it.
Sadly, many had a problem with organizational structure, and paid the price with their life. Numbers 16:1-49.
I understand that most people have this view due to how authority is often misused, but it is important we remember that God's arrangement, despite imperfections of man, is an aspect of God's sovereignty, and therefore cannot be excluded from our worship.
This is reemphasized in the Christian Greek scriptures, at
1 Corinthians 3:11
But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.
Ephesians 5:23
For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.
Since Christ is the head of the congregation, he leads the body, and gives instructions through members of the body, as depicted in Revelation 1:20
As for the mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands, the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.
It's true, we don't see those stars, in Jesus' hands with our literal eyes, but if we look in the Bible, we see them with spiritual eyes.
Hebrews 13:17
Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.
1 Thessalonians 5:12
We ask you, brothers, to
respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you,
Matthew 24:45
Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time?
Thus
To truly have a relationship with God, and his people,
we must be able to recognize God's earthly organization, and those who represent it.
Only then, can we benefit from real relationships.
Jesus said, By this
all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. John 13:35
